I called out two bonafide White Supremacists that are "total farkers" (they pay $5.00 a month) and got suspended from this site… That says a lot about this site in my book..

This use to be decent but now it's like a high school clicky social group, you're either in the "in group" or you're not. Admins are also users that post on the site and disagreeing with them will get you suspended, there's at least one that's a blatant racist and they behave like children. I've seen people get suspended just for making a political viewpoint post an admin didn't agree with, suspended for asking about someone getting suspended and suspended just for mentioning the word suspended. The politics and sports tabs are the worst, clicky teen like environment.

Fark is a link aggregation site, similar to Voat or Reddit (however it pre-dates said sites). The main focus of Fark is sharing news articles and exaggerating their headlines, you will typically see people sharing articles from BBC, Fox News etc. The community is hilarious and odd – its userbase's humour generally focuses on satire, sarcasm and photoshop (the latter of the three being a very active part of the site). Though you will occasionally see NSFW content posted here, it's, for the most part SFW. All posts tagged as NSFW can be filtered out in the user's preferences if they don't want to see anything that isn't SFW. The humour of satire and exaggerated headlines will be lost on most young children, but as the NSFW links can be filtered out, that's pretty much the only thing on the site you wouldn't really want your children looking at. Great for adults and older teens, wouldn't suggest for young children.

I had been a member of the sites on a casual basis for the past 5 years, but finally gave up when I found that it was impossible to get them to withdraw articles and comments that were blatantly racist.

Words like nigger, kike, $#*!, injun, redman, slant, faggot, queer, $#*! sucker and various other taunts and jibes are regularly posted (edited with $ or @ in place of certain letters so it would pass the filters) and never removed.
The final straw came when I asked a moderator to remove a post that was offensive, and received a 24 hour ban for doing so. I appealed and was told tough $#*! and then called a drunken crack head injun.

It's nothing more than a site of white dominated rednecks and American hillbillies with a pro nazi attitude.

I wouldn't allow any of my advertising on their site for fear it would drive away customers.

Here is the deal with this one: It is a satire site full of deliberately ridiculous headlines. Know that going in and you should be OK.

A cesspit of bigoted man-children. Only ever has the same 3-4 boring childish discussions over and over again.

Fark aggregates news stories. This they do in a simple cueing system that involves multiple editors selecting which stories are "published.". They feign a childlike, fun atmosphere, but in reality are hard left dogmatists who tightly control their discussion boards through censorship of conservative viewpoints. The free access to the basic fark site brings in the dregs of the world; there are truly grotesque personalities and subversive political groups that haunt the message boards, spouting unbelievably destructive antisocial and radical political messages. The site grooms youthful participants to conform to total PC compliance and total acceptance of degenerate value systems and orthodoxies. There are literally dozens of superior websites from which to receive daily aggregated news stories. Fark is nothing more than code monkeys' nonsensical time-suck childishness, posing as adult entertainment and "education." Skip this one. It's a clownshow in businessmen's clothing.

If going to an external link, the user will get mocked, asking to fix their JavaScript settings. I don't know why, because there is no reason to enable JavaScript for those links. Fark.com takes you to the external link anyway, and you don't even get interstitial ads through external links like Wikia.

Users disable JavaScript to protect their computers from pop-up ads and drive-by downloads. Webmasters should respect this.

Website owned by Fark, Inc. Fark is a website with interesting, bizarre and amusing news stories, along with regular photo manipulation contests. Not always fictional but it is a safe website.

This place used to be far better than it is now, there used to be some actual wit in the discussions, people able to debate a bit with each other and be reasonable. As it is now though, it manages to make 4chan seem classy and intellectual.

'News of the weird' collected from many publications/websites (mostly American and English sites). A great place to go when you need to procrastinate!
