My first order with Farmfoods was for 20lbs of grass fed ground beef. My order arrived within the shipping window, frozen solid and packed well. I received information on the farm that my meat was grown and harvested from included with my order. The beef is delicious and I will be a twice monthly customer from now on.

The product, packaging and shipping are great. My only issue is that orders are not itemized as much as I would like. When ordering a 1/8 of a steer or pig, I would like to know exactly what I am getting, and possibly have options.

I ordered Beef Shanks which are still in the Freezer as of now I have not prepared it.

The1 lb. Beef Stew that I did order and cook was quite fatty and not as tasty as I was hoping for.
Overall that has been my experience so far.
Shipping was quite fast and thoroughly packaged. I would still continue to order because "Healthy Meats" are important to me.

I have purchased Beef Short Ribs a couple of times and I keep coming back. They are so tender, we love them .
The first time we ordered was the English Style, the 2nd time was the reg short ribs. Both are delicious and if prepared correctly are tender and delicious. Will be buying more for Christmas !

The meat from Farmfoods is incredible and is a lot more flavorful than anything we can find in supermarkets. It's a completely different color! Supermarket meat is typically pink but getting our first pack of stew meat we saw (and tasted) the difference. Dark red meat looks like it came from a wild animal and we feel much more confident eating everything, rather than avoiding specific parts when buying from supermarkets (chicken liver, hearts, skin, pork lard, etc… were off limits with supermarket quality). I tried other services before and FarmFoods definitely fits our requirements perfectly. The quality and variety is fantastic and it has made us much more adventurous when trying new things. We especially enjoy being able to use the organ and other meat from various pasture raised animals to keep our diet healthy and varied.

It's hard to imagine how food is supposed to taste, we've become accustom to supermarket mega foods. The steaks, roasts and chicken from Farm Foods will open your eyes! Meat raised the right way, tastes the best and is healthier for you. Great customer service too!!

I received everything on time, it was packaged well and I enjoyed everything I received.Good quality products.

Excellent customer service and super fast shipping. I orderd oxtails which are hard to find. Also ordered some other grassfed beef. The meat is phenomenal quality and tastes divine. Highly recommend and will definitely buy again.

Update** 11/19/20
I received my final half of my order.Im not sure if want to laugh or cry lol. They sent me the identical order and added 2 small bav and 2 tenderloin steaks the size of a silver dollar no joke! Not ONE premium cut. Unless you count ny strip(seriously?)

Don't make the same mistake i did stay away from there large share orders.

Im finally receiving my updated order. Its taken around 3-4weeks like it advertised. We will see what they ship to me. Ill update the contents when it arrives.The one thing tho is that they won't tell you when your order will be rdy.

** All there packages leak once slowly thawed.

There product is ok. If you order large amounts b e cautious your meat will be coming from multiple farms, and you won't get any special cuts or internals.

My friend made the purchase. He said everything went very well. No problems no complaints. Liked everything being in one site.

I order pretty much of all my meat here. The hamburger is quite tasty and so are the New York strips, the bacon is to die for. Grass fed all the way

I ordered 20 pounds of ground beef and packaged very well and shipped very quickly , I would buy again .

In my quest to find the healthiest meat products that I could find, I did my research and found FarmFoods, grass fed and finished beef and pasture raised pork. Excellent ground beef and pork sausage! Always arrives when promised and perfectly frozen. A huge hit with my family!!

A company like Farm Foods is much needed now. How wonderful it is to be able to purchase awesome grass fed meat. I love to make bone broth and it is important to me that the bones I use come from grass fed animals. All my friends want my broth, but I really don鈥檛 share that much, instead I teach them how to make their own. Thank You Farm Foods for making this possible.

This was my first purchase and I was very happy with it! The meat came perfectly packaged in a styrofoam cooler with plenty of dry ice. The meat is high quality and very tasty! I will definitely be ordering from them again!

I was very impressed on the selection of excellent meat cuts I received with my sample package. I'm bbq'ing quite a bit and getting ready for my next order.

I'm kind of paranoid about food safety and my wife and I are high risk for COVID complications so we are trying not go out all that much right now. After repeatedly striking out with Instacart keeping our perishable foods cold (or just picking out subpar cuts of meat), I researched quite heavily and I narrowed down my choices: Butcher Block, Omaha Steaks, and Farm Foods.

I read the negative reviews of Omaha Steaks (some people got food poisoning!), so that was out of the question.

I'll be honest, I couldn't decide between Butcher Block and Farm Foods, but then I saw Farm Foods' refund policy (no questions asked if your food arrives unsafe), so I pulled the trigger on Farm Foods.

It took a little over a week for me to get my meat. We ordered some short rib, some brisket, a filet mignon, and some bacon. About $150 for a bunch of high quality meat, ok, not bad. I didn't have to spend that much, but I was committed to getting the free shipping. I'm weird like that.

A little background: I live in sunny Los Angeles. When the meat arrived, the delivery person (not affiliated with Farm Foods) left it on my porch without telling me. So I was a little scared, but I cracked open the thick well-sealed styrofoam cooler, which was full of dry ice and very cold. I pulled out my IR thermometer and found that all of the meat was still very safe and quite frozen! Success! It was kept out of the danger zone. I promptly put the meat into the freezer. The meat ranged in temperature from 5 degrees F to 10 degrees F.

For our first Quarantimes Date Night in a while, my wife and I created our own Korean BBQ experience (at home) and shaved the frozen brisket. The brisket was marbled well, and on the leaner side, which was very appealing to us. We totally pigged out! It was really tasty.

Now that the buy, safe delivery, and safe-eating test has passed, I'm thinking of trying out some other cuts of meat (maybe even the Wagyu), and of course I'll get more brisket.

As long as Farm Foods keeps to this level of excellence, I will continue buying from them for years to come.

I've ordered multiple times, ranging from small orders to 1/8 of a cow. I've always been satisfied with the quality/taste of the meat I've ordered as well as the value provided with the specials and ability to order 1/8 of a cow when I want it/am ready for it; the flavor is what you would expect from grass-fed meat. In addition, the method in which the meat has been frozen preserves it well for storage in the freezer so that you don't have to consume the whole order at once. It's a lot more convenient than a monthly share, especially when you can't predict how much meat you will consume; I tend to like a wide variety of meats, so this makes planning a bit challenging.

One of my orders did experience a delay in the delivery. This was due to the parcel carrier, however, and not FarmFoods. Because of the timing, the delivery got delayed by an extra few days–over a long holiday weekend, resulting in more than a week from the time that the order shipped to when I received it. This resulted in the meat defrosting before the delivery. I contacted customer service immediately once I discovered that the meat had completely defrosted, and the issue was resolved promptly with some store credit that allowed me to repurchase the items at a later time. The second time that I ordered the items, the delivery happened within the expected time frame (before the end of the week); the packaging, to my delight, kept the whole 1/8 of a cow frozen. Customer service even checked in with me to ensure that the delivery went smoothly this time around.

The food is excellent and tastes so good.

I got this response from FarmFoods…"Grassfed is a bit different than conventional meat. Grassfed steak needs to be cooked as rare or medium rare or it can become tough. This usually means lower temperature. Grassfed meat also cooks about 30% faster. Please see our cooking instructions that came with your steaks." When 22% of the people are dissatisfied with your product, you should check yourselves and fix your standards. Do you actually think that people don't know how to cook steaks? It's not the Chefs, it's the product.

order received not packed in dry ice, spoiled lamb and chicken packaging leaking blood. error in items of beef replaced with pork sticks. I contacted the company directly 3 times, also through Paypal , my credit card company and BBB and also directly to some of the farmers. They never responded. They have an F rating with BBB, many others have had this experience. i would like a full refund or full replacement of my order.

Received my package of various meats very timely. all of the chicken were
received was great. The ground beef was flavorful as well. The beef sticks I may pass on next time.
Overall, good food and good value.

I ordered a "Premium Steak" sampler ,what is supposed to be 15 steaks of assorted varieties (they even listed what looked like 20 different cuts )and i was Guaranteed either a filet or rib-eye….. what i recieved was FAR from "premium" , i paid extra for faster shipping , took over a week to receive what i can only describe as mostly throw away cuts , 8 of the same chuck , with another larger chuck , out of 15 steaks i ended up with 5 different cuts and the rib-eye that they sent wouldn't feed a 3 year old , customer service was polite , but ultimately my response was you get what you get but here is a coupon for your next purchase !….. NEVER ORDERING FROM THEM AGAIN… first and last time customer

Great selection of grass-fed, grass-finished beef, including cuts that are difficult to find (like beef cheeks) except in a few specialty butcher shops. Farm Foods also has deals and value packs that help make quality meat more affordable.

We have been getting farm foods for the past three months. The flavor of the beef is outstanding! In the beef value packs there is always a great variety and assortment of cuts. Customer service is top notch. Shipping is always prompt. Excellent value!
