We had a state safety inspection done in the Firestone (Audubon, Pennsylvania) and repair was requested to pass the inspection. We had a second look at Mavis Discount tire and received lower quote, but we chose to go back to this shop for convenience of reinspection. When we came back to pick up the car after repair, it turned out the shop conducted not only essential repair we requested, but also a non-authorized service. The store manager Jon came to my wife & me and started an argument whether we were notified in the original quote the non-authorized service was essential. We had to go back to the original quote and it turned out my wife and I were correct. We also told the manager we had a lower quote from Mavis. At that point, the store manager appeared annoyed and told my wife and me "Never come back," in front of his employee.

My wife and I had Firestone for over 15 years and many services are still in warranty. Throughout our conversation with Jon, we never said we would refuse to pay the non-authorized service and we paid the requested repair. It was absolutely ILLEGAL to decline future services to us, violating implied warranty agreements between me and Firestone for our prior services. We had to report to PA Consumer Protection Agency and to use legal service we subscribed via my job. I also filed a complaint with Firestone headquarter (case # 2485051).

This is the first time in our lives to have an issue with car mechanics and first time in our lives to have to report to Consumer Protection Agent. This is also our 1st time to leave a negative review publicly.

It started ok, but has been the worst experience since. They told me I would have free rotation at any firestone or sister corperation, however, the first firestone I went to told me they would charge me for the rotation. Then I took it to the original store and they took an extra 2.5 hours on top of the time quoted for me for just a simple rotation. Without having to remove the wheels since my experience there I went back for a third time, (so I know it was them) they had cross threaded and ruined 3 different bolts with the lug nuts. In essence they messed up on 3 of the 4 tires. The front of the house manager came and told me that they would fix it next time, basically he tried to send me out on the road with 3 out of 4 lug nuts attaching 2 of my 4 tires. The customer service for firestone is somehow even worse. They tell you they are going to call you back in 48 hours and never do, I called 3 times and they don鈥檛 even have a record of the first 2 times. These people are willing to sacrifice the safety of not only their customers but for everyone on the road. One of the worst companies I've had to deal with.

Bought three new tires at this place a few weeks ago. They were having a sale where I got $100 off.

While checking out, I was offered an additional 10% off for opening one of their credit cards. Because this was a large purchase, I thought it was worth it. Upon examining my invoice, I didn't get the 10%, and it didn't come on the credit account in the form of a statement credit. I'm up to six phone calls with them about this, and they are refusing to fix it. The last guy I spoke to said "We don't do double discounts", which is fine, except that they offered me a second discount, and I accepted their offer.

Stay away. They are crooks.

Stop here if you want to be taken advantage of. My wife went there to get an oil change and have them check the brakes. She ended up being charged $508. The service people told her the front brakes and rotors were bad. She called me at work, the service advisor lied to me about the cost of the parts. The technician, even though he didn't look at the car, could tell me to the millimeter how much pad was left. The advisor or technician tried to coerce her to buy tires and cabin filter. when she would not they left her glove box and contents on the floorboard. The parts prices were inflated by 100 to 200%. Example; Cabin filter online $19.99, Firestone $59.99. When I spoke with the area manager, George Ranieri, He said "We can charge what we want" When I mentioned the glove box incident, he stated " I apologize I'll mention it to them" I will never go back to this Firestone again and will let everyone I know what a terrible experience I had.

I was traveling with our three youngest children from NC to SC Friday when I stopped at exit 164 off I-95N. As I pulled into Cracker Barrel, I heard a scraping sound under my car and thought it might be one of my tires but as I looked closer, I found something else. I asked a gentleman if he could help me and showed him what appeared to be the under carriage of my car hanging by a thread. I asked him if he knew where I may be able to get it fixed and he told me about Firestone on Hoffmeyer, not far from Cracker Barrel. I thanked him profusely. If you see a man in the area with a Steeler's face mask, HE IS AWESOME! I carefully drove to Firestone and encountered the friendliest, most helpful staff. The first person to help me was Mr. Nick. He saw me coming and showed me where I could park in the already close-to-full parking lot. Mr. Patrick was very kind and assured me that they could quickly get me on my way, even though every stall was full and all staff was diligently working on vehicles. Mr. Nick fixed the under carriage and checked the air tire pressure in all four tires. He also showed me how to reset the sensor, when necessary. I've had my tires rotated at least three times in the last year and no one at the local shop could reset the sensor. Mr. Patrick, Mr. Rick and Ms. Donna treated everyone who came into the store and called on the phone as if they were friends. They were so kind and accommodating to me. My children and I made it safely to our destination and back home tonight. We travel that area quite frequently and plan to stop in to deliver goodies to them the next time we pass through. When people ask about our Father's Day weekend, our answer is "we had a rough 10 minutes, but we had a wonderful weekend!" THANK YOU, Mr. Nick, Mr. Patrick, Mr. Rick and Ms. Donna!

Dear Mr. Onye Pamasa,

First off I want to apologize for sending this letter so late. He way our society is if there been a problem this letter would have been before the end business on the same day. Please accept my apologies. I was very pleased with the work that you all did on my car a week ago yesterday a (April 25th, 20/20 ). With that I came back the next day to express my appreciation for you all helping to find out why I was having so many flat tires. While I was waiting in line I happened to look up on the wall learned two things; 1. Out of all these years I never knew that Firestone was a person's last name and he was the one who started the company. 2. As I was reading a statement that was on the wall I realized that the staff at the Columbia, Tennessee was living up to mr. Firestone's expectations and that is to be always loyal and honest with your customers, and with that I truly appreciate.

Even though within that 24-hour span of me having flat tires it was actually a very blessed time in my life and I'm glad that I was able to meet you and your kindness and your honesty and for that I say thank you.

So again thank you so much for your service and most of all for your honesty.

My wife and I (Danish tourists) had a flat tire on our rental car. Went to Firestone in Juno Beach, North Palm Beach, Fl., in order to get it fixed. We were afraid that they might take advantage of a couple of tourist and really make us pay.
But in fact they told us, that they could fix it without us having to buy a new tire. So 鈥?fixing and changing the tire cost us only
21 $.
It would have been easy for them to tell us, we would have to buy a new (expensive) tire.
A big high five from us to Firestone, Juno Beach.

Horrible company and their child company Tires Plus is even worse. not only did they recommend repairs that were unnecessary as validated by two other repair shops, the repairs I did allow them to do ended up even worse than I could ever imagine. They forgot to tighten the lug nuts on my driver side Tire which caused my vehicle to crash at 70 miles an hour and almost cost me my life. The corporate response was atrocious, they went well out of their way to fight tooth and nail Anyway way they could and never apologized or took the matter seriously. I ended up having to get legal representation just to get them to fix the issue after the crash. When I brought it in under court order and left it with them they further destroyed my vehicle while trying to repair the damage they caused. They were malicious and callus. they poured sugar in my gas tank and spit in my center console Upon returning the car to me. Not only where they highly unprofessional but they happened to 'lose' the security footage from that day so they couldn't tell which employee damaged my vehicle. Their corporate representative JenniferN took over four weeks to reply back to my emails and resorted to name-calling and cursing. It took almost four months to repair the damages that they caused to my car. I have never even heard of a corporation that handles their customers like this. I can't help but recommend you steer clear of this company

11/29/219: Very unprofessional and patronizing. Purchased (4) Michelin tires @3089 Highway K O Fallon, MO 63366 on 08/12 four months prior at the suggestion of the manager, Tim Graves, finally was able set an appt to have them installed, took off work and showed up for said appt only to be told they were busy and would "squeeze me in" followed by they "couldn't get to me" and the only solution they suggested was to refund my money – they did not even offer an alternate date for install. A refund would not get the tires installed prior to winter as these tires were special order. Waste of time and a very patronizing and disrespectful attitude to boot. Filed BBB and corporate complaint.

If I could rate this company less than one star, I would certainly do so. They are deceptive and do poor work. I have used this company for tire replacement and vehicle repairs for about ten years and recently took my vehicle to the location on Mason Rd in Katy, Texas, for an oil change. While there, they told be that I needed new brakes, which THEY replaced a few months prior. They also said that I needed all of my lugnuts replaced due to wear. I have NEVER had lugnuts replaced for ANY vehicle I have ever owned. Firestone had always changed out my tires, so Firestone should be responsible for the any replacement. Their customer service department offer no solution to my complaint, other than coming back into the shop for a free examination of my vehicle. I have not, and will never return.

My local Firestone is one of the most honest car care facility around. They will let you know if it is not needed, and even try and talk you out of it. Great service.

My daughter is a student at Kent State University and she had an issue with this location. They were deceptive, lied and took advantge of a young female customer. When I asked the acting manager for the district managers or home office customer service number, she refused and said they are not allowed to give that out and handle all complaints internally. I am a district manager for a large corporation and this is not how we take care of our customers. I would not recommend the Kent Ohio location to anyone especially to a young student.

AVOID FIRESTONE COMPLETE AUTO CARE! Purchased some tires and an lifetime alignment ($568) at the Marconi Avenue shop in Sacramento. When I went to pick up the car, I noticed right away the Airbag warning light was now on when I started the car. Also, the digital clock was way off indicating the shop was messing with the battery or electrical system for unknown reasons. When I took the car in, the airbag warning light was definitely not on and the clock was fine. I did not move the car from the parking lot and immediately told the service manager at the desk. He then immediately inspected the car and confirmed the problem. He told me to leave the car and they would find the problem tomorrow in the morning. The next day, Firestone again kept my car the entire day. However, they claimed they could not find the problem and claimed their scanners would not work with my car. They also tried to deny causing the problem and told me they spoke with the dealer and they was told is no way the were responsible. I told them my car was in this condition when I took it there and I wanted it fixed. Manager was rude. They set my a claim number and said Firestone would contact me. Since then all I have gotten was delay, tons of run-around and being ignored. The car is still not fixed which is a big concern because in this car, the airbags will not deploy when the warning light is on. I have barely used it since this problem since it is unsafe now. Again, this was not a problem before taking it to this shop and I do NOT believe it is a coincidence. This car has been in my family practically since it was new and the airbag (or any other) warning light has never come one. Although this car is older, the mileage is low – about 35,000. I believe that Firestone somehow damaged my car and I want them to put it back to the condition it was before their shop messed it up. Besides the loss of use of my car it has caused me a great deal of wasted time and frustration. Firestone has a "customer satisfaction" policy painted ON THEIR WALL but it is a joke. They admitted they are incapable of fixing this issue. The dealer will have to do it. STAY AWAY. Firestone does not stand behind their service and their customer service sucks!

I have 5 cars and always take them to my Holladay Firestone in Utah. I have done this for over years. They keep excellent records of each cars history which is available to me at any other Firestone nation wide. AWESOME tires, warranty and prices. Best of all, is the lifetime alignment service, incredible value. I trust them and I know that I have saved thousands of dollars over the years. Specifically, there master mechanic Louis is brilliant and Brandon always makes time for me. They have gone the extra mile for me. All the staff has been great here. J.L.H.

I went to the one on hollywood and dixie hwy in hollywood florida. I went to get my vehicle aligned. It took two hours pass my oppointment. Then they said their printer is not working. So they had to put it on the lift again. After that i got the suv back, and not even a full day the steeting wheel is slainted to the left instead of straight. Then at the end of the day, dec 31 my suv that was working fine starts to overheat, i check and the fan wont turn on. Now im stranded on new years, now ac. I know they maliciously sabotaged my vehicle, trying to force me to go to them to fix it. This was maliciously, they are disgusting scum, they are most likely being instructed to do so by their corporate headquarters. I went leave a review about these nasty disgusting thieves, these worthless disgusting demons and come to find out alot of people have been complaining about sabotage, horrible miss treatment, abuse and not only that, but the corporate refuse to do something about it. They all need to take real lie dector test and im sure they will all be gound guilty. They are all guilty and now im strand on new year in a neighborhood with no air conditioning.
