Similar to Jonathan鈥檚 experience, except that I spent $6,000 on a thermal scope. After a year and a half the scope just stopped working. I tried new batteries, reset default settings but nothing worked.

So I spoke with a 鈥淢anager鈥?on the phone and he told me to fill out the online repair form and was informed that I鈥檇 get a call from FLIR when my scope arrived. I did everything, got the RMA and shipped it off ASAP. UPS delivered the scope 鈥淒ropped at dock鈥?but I have got no call from FLIR. It doesn鈥檛 appear it was signed for.

I call FLIR every single day just to get transferred to a 鈥渕anager鈥?then I get the person鈥檚 voice mail. I never have gotten a call back. I regret ever buying an Armasight Zeus Scope from FLIR.

But this fight is certainly not over, If someone doesn鈥檛 call back this week, my attorney will be involved as the scope is $6000. Worst customer service I鈥檝e ever gotten.

I bought a Flir one pro on eBay. The unit broke after 3 months. I tried to submit a request for warranty and they wanted proof of purchase from an "authorized reseller" which the eBay seller would not provide. Flir refused to honor the warranty as a result. I plan on using everything in my power to warn people against buying their product. Now I have a $370 piece of trash.
They should stop selling garbage that only lasts 3 months. It shouldn't matter where I bought it from they should honor the warranty if it was manufactured less than a year ago.

Like many others I have had problems with my Scout TK not holding charge when not in use, on average from full charge to zero was about two weeks.

I took this up with Flir in California and was given an RMA number for its return to there for checking. After forking out nearly 拢20 for the privilege I sent it off at the end of March 2018, never to be seen again. It arrived with Flir in early April and after chasing it up, I was promised a new unit in mid April, the actual promise was that it would be sent out within the week.

Since then nothing has happened, there was a delay in sending out because the compliance team (Flir speak for one person) was snowed under dealing with a back log of orders. Despite my complaint being escalated to a 鈥渕anager鈥? still nothing and now they do not even bother replying to emails, I do not think that Flir staff could lie straight in bed. Lots of apologies and thanks for my patience crap filled emails which mean nothing when they are not sincere.

Eight weeks after being promised a replacement unit, I am now worse off than before I posted it to them, at least until the end of March I actually owned a Flir Scout, now they have it do not seem keen to replace it.

My advice based on their crap customer service is to look for alternative thermal cameras, no camera is worse than one that does not quite match Flir.

Originally one star, it turned out the proble4m was just one "bad egg" in the company. Some years on the replacement product is serving reliably.

the package was left at my doorstep.
i would prefer that the package be signed for .
please notify the shipper that a signature should be required .
the packaging was very good.
the camera had rub marks on the body of the camera .
i wondered if the camera were a factory blemished item , or was it handled rough before shipping ?
the camera required battery charging before use , that means that it was a first time use ?
overall i'm glad that i purchased from FlirDirect.

I had to wait 2 weeks for the device to be in stock, but did not receive any information saying that the device was in stock and when it would ship. Also the shi9pping instructions that were defined when the order was generated did NOT make it to the shipping company. I had to forward emails to the shipping company in order to get the device shipped as it should have been. I was even asked if I wanted the shipping sped up (change from 2 days to overnight) and I said yes to that, but the shipping company still shipped it 2 days. Luckily it arrived so that I could get it to a friend who wanted it.

this smart phone IR camera is just what maintenance folks and electrician's need. As an instructor I demonstrate the camera in all my classes and the students have found a lot of ways that they can use it to solve problems at work.

By the time I get it it may be obsolete.
I waited for months for a backordered FLIR ONE Thermal Camera for Android. On 03-Dec-15 I got a email that told me it was available. I paid for it and they sent it to the wrong address. I called and they said they would send it again. 2 1/2 months later and I still have not got my order. I called and they said the logistic departments supervisor would call me in the next 30 minutes . That was 3 days ago.
I still want the device but they should fire everyone involved and refund my money.

I use this tool for almost every job I work on (electrician) saves me hrs. of guessing on solving a electrical problem (breaker problems) heating problems, hot wire (wrong size breaker) ckt. board repairs you name.

I wanted a more trusted name in moisture readings, so I figured FLIR could deliver.
I should of just bought the moisture meter as the refresh rate and resolution is very poor on this device FLIR MR 176.
There is no setting for the pinless moisture meter only if you have the pins plugged in , you set it to group 9 as this covers most building materials then you have to check in several areas to build an average of the moisture if present.

I put it on a pine entertainment shelf I built and has been dry for 20yrs
and the reading was 25% REALLY!
I don't even use it on inspections now as this thing could be a liability for my company, when I called FLIR they said, "oh well it is a relative reading, I NEED AN ACCURATE READING NOT ONE THAT WILL LEAVE ME GUESSING EVERY-TIME.
I also have been in crawl spaces where water was flowing from a broken toilet seal and it did not even show up on the thermal imaging?
The one star is for the product itself, when I called FLIR there people have always been nice. Not worth $1,000

We ordered a new Flir camera on line and the camera was delivered on time as promised. One of the easiest IR camera purchases I've made.
