Flocknote

It is an excellent product and easy to set up and use. I use it only for texting at this point. What I like about it is that I can have multiple texting groups. I can have a group for trustees, financial committees, missions, etc. I also like that I can schedule a text and have it sent later and that people can respond back and I am the only one to see the response. What I don't like is it is limited to 160 characters. For our team, that is inconvenient. Some texts seem abrupt because of this. If sharing with the prayer chain about an urgent situation that is tragic, sometimes some background detail or appropriate words need to be stated. Multiple texts can be sent back to back, but that also seems inconvenient. There needs to be a setting to allow more characters. I also had it scheduled to send a text reminder to my church that was never sent. The system did not work. When I checked it the system said the text would be sent in 51 minutes instead of the time I indicated. It was a time-sensitive text that would have been too late in 51 minutes so I deleted it. The price is right and overall a great product. I am happy with it, but the two situations I listed are disappointments and I am wondering if I will have to change to another service.

Flocknote has been a gem to use, especially during this time of social distancing. Parishioners have welcomed the easy way to sign up to receive messages. In addition, Flocknote has introduced several special features helping to send informative notes to parishioners and to let them know they are part of a faith-filled community.

Flocknote is the resource I have been looking for! Very quickly I was able to use Flocknote to connect more effectively with the congregation. It provides a way for other ministry leaders in the church to utilize the service and expand the ministry reach of the church. We have also been able to use Flocknote to do outreach to people who are connected to the church but not attending the church. It is a user friendly tool and the Flocknote support staff are responsive and helpful. All of this is happening during the COVID-19 crisis when we are not able to meet in the church facility. I would highly recommend Flocknote for churches and ministries!

Flocknote has helped to keep us connected., we've not missed 1 morning worship, bible study or Sunday school, throughout this rough time. Currently we are using flocknote in conjunction with ez texting and personal phone text because we do have a need to use more wording allowed sometimes and they allow a jpeg. When time allows, I'm hoping to take full advantage of all you offer but now just trying to keep us connected until we can have physical services or this new way become more normal. Thanks so much!

A phenomenal communication tool for churches

I believe our experience has been great so far however we have one issue that we would like to see improved if possible. Our priest has 2 congregations so we set up a Flocknotes system for both of them separately. Currently to communicate his messages to his parishioners he creates a flocknote twice which seems cumbersome. Is it possible for him to do the flocknote message once and send to both parishes? There may be slightly different messages included in both, but it would save time if he could just create one flocknote, and edit it as necessary for the other parish. If this can occur I would raise my rating to a 5. Great system.

Using Flocknote for our Bible Study was the first step our parish took in ramping up electronic communications when Covid19 unexpectedly impacted every American's life. Although our Bible Study group is rather small, our success in continuing our study online was an example of quick adaptation to "new normal." Our parish website is now up to date and we've launched a Facebook page. In two weeks over 2,000 people were viewing daily Mass on our Facebook. In the week after Easter we will be launching a new electronic outreach to our parishioners. They know they have not been forgotten by their parish!

The customer service and response times are incredible.

Need to go back and rework the composer template and mobile app.

There are not enough features to properly layout the email. Ability to resize images, crop images, change sections and alternate section layout, and edit two column on mobile.

I鈥檓 sure your people add on is good and needed, but time to refresh the composer.

Thanks for a venue that allows me to connect with my flock in
Alma, Kansas. It is an easy tool which accepts the formats I use in daily ministry. This has been helpful to me as a means of connection while stay-at-home orders are enforced. U.S. Postal is great for saturation of information, but not for quick notes. This fills a gap we have had here, and I am using it daily to provide encouragement and relay information.

after about a month with zero glitches. I do a daily text devotional and video and i can schedule that ahead of time and it goes out automatically. Hope to expand to other groups. love the app as well so i can send from anywhere. Its also forced me to be concise – word limit!

Flocknote is a great way to help people stay informed and connected to the church. There are multiple applications for their products and above all, the customer support is fantastic! So thankful to have this team of people helping us as we walk through new ways to connect with everyone who attends our church.

I use Flocknotes to send email or text messages to update church members on what鈥檚 going on with the church. Most recently I鈥檝e sent emails to those who have birthdays, updated weekly prayer lists, scriptures that support prayer, and resources for mental health. I use free clip art to illustrate topics of the emails. Clip art seems to catch attention.

Support staff has been great and always willing to help. Would love to have a library of thumbnail icons that we could use to customize our ministry tabs on the dashboard.

Flocknote is one of the most amazing tools I have ever used. I used to create email lists within Outlook for the parents of the Teens I serve. It was clunky, inefficient, unattractive and I would never know who actually read what I sent. Flocknote changed all that. I have easily created contact lists where parents of different age groups get all my emails and texts which are fun, engaging, and interactive. I easily see who reads what I send and they are able to RSVP for events instantly. I even have a teen group that does the same kind of thing but where I can send a group text very quickly and safely without using my personal phone number. I could not recommend an app or website tool more than Flocknote. No joke.

I am a seminarian doing a pastoral year at a parish in Manhattan. I've been helping the pastor set up Flocknote for parish use, and I am very impressed by the system. It allows for effective communication and ease of use, and the staff has been extraordinarily helpful whenever I've had questions. Highly recommended.

Great customer service. We had trouble uploading a file, and the Happiness Engineers took care of us quickly and seamlessly. They are very friendly, as well, desiring to find a good solution. Joyful experience!

I absolutely love having Flocknote for our parish. It is one easy platform for all our ministries. I believe one of the greatest features is updating everyone's ministry list when someones information changes. It allows us to work more collaboratively together! The other great feature is the access to the library to preload information. It allows us to have more time doing what we love, which is to minister to others, rather than reinventing the wheel so to speak. If you don't have Flocknote at your parish, you are missing out!
