FloodSax US

Great customer service. Product works as advertised. Don't expect to re-use them. To me, this was a single-use, emergency product. Much preferred to filling sand/dirt bags. Got email from CEO directly–very heartfelt response. This is very unusual in today's world of profits over people. I would never even consider using another product.

Certainly not reusesble as advertised. Ugly, smelly hard to clean up to throw them in the trash. Never dry out after the storm just get more slimeyvand ugly. Based on your advertising I bought them for iour vacation home thinking I could store them there for use again without having to rush around for sand bags when there is a lending storm. But there is no way to dry out and reuse. IMPOSSIBLE. You advertise a 5 year shelf life but that is only if you never use them because once used they are TRASH!!!

Really great product. Absorbed and held water way better than the other sandless sandbags I've tried. They are a bigger too and can stack because they inflate evenly. I need these for the storm. Great experiance

After waiting in a long line to get sandbags before Hurricane Matthew in 2016 and then disposing of the stinking wet sand afterwards, we decided to find reusable "sandbags" for future rising water issues. Of course, we forgot all about it until Hurricane Irma was bearing down on us. After doing some research, we ordered FloodSax. It was too late to get them before Irma, and thankfully we didn't have any rising water. They came last week as promised, in a nice, sturdy storage bag and flat so they take up almost no room in our storage closet. When the next hurricane comes, we'll be ready!

The shipment was super-fast, despite it being at no cost.
FloodSax.US.com provided very professional customer follow up and support. Overall, a people-centric business, as they all should (still) be.

I ordered through FloodSax's website. It took two weeks to ship my order, even though my credit card was charged immediately. I got no reply to an email sent a week after ordering asking about shipment status, but did get a call 10 days after placing order asking if I still wanted the product. Explanation was that they were out of stock when I placed my order.

I don't think my card should have been charged for product that was not in stock.

The floodsax created a great barrier to the floodwaters. We sealed our openings with silicone caulking (over rope backing), then with gorilla tape. We placed plastic painters tarps down and stacked the floodsax up over them. Unlike the floodwater from Matthew, irma's waters stayed out and the buildings were dry.

The floodsax folks were extremely helpful and great to deal with. Within minutes of posting an online question right before Irma hit, i rec'd a phone call with guidance on activation.

We are going to keep these on hand.

I have not used the bags yet but have great relief knowing I have them and that they have a long shelf life. Delivery was prompt and packaging was good.

The emergency (Irma) did not happen (yet) so the bags are being kept for a future emergency. The company communicated the status of the order and delivered on time despite a crushing rush of orders

I purchased a received a case of "FloodSax" a few days prior to FL being threatened by Hurricane Irma, in the event my home or business was threatened by the storm. My case "FloodSax" arrived a few days prior to Hurricane Irma passing directly over my home as a Cat 3 storm. As the storm intensified, water started coming into the house, so we deployed the "FloodSax", and as advertised, the "FloodSax" quickly soaked up water that was already in the house. We then adjusted the "FloodSax" to form a barrier which stopped additional water incursion into our home.
Based on my research over the last couple of years searching for an easier temporary water barrier that can be deployed quickly & my recent experience, I would recommend that business & homeowners along with all others who are responsible for protecting physical and other assets from rising water to seriously consider purchasing a couple of cases of "FloodSax", to provide an emergency barrier against rising water. Not only does it work as advertised, but in its pre-deployment state, it is very compact making it easy to store, transport, & deploy, plus they are extremely light reducing pre-event fatigue during deployment along with potentially reducing the risk of back injuries.
"FloodSax" is a GREAT product, exceeded my expectations, as it passed the ultimate real life test, protecting my home as Hurricane Irma passed directly over us, protecting my home from rising water from Hurricane Irma, a Cat 3 storm, as it tracked through Southwest FL.

Survived Irma without a drop of water in the house

We discovered FloodSax searching for flooding solutions as Hurricane Irma approached Florida. Our house flooded during Hurricane Mathew and we had to move out for 5 months during repairs. The FloodSax were easy to place outside the garage doors and all 7 doors to our home because we could wet them in bins right at each door while sand bags would have to be carried long distances. We also placed dry FloodSax inside each door and at each interior door to contain and absorb any water that got in the house. Irma Flood water reached the house just like it did with Mathew but when we returned home we were ecstatic and relieved to see that we did not have a drop of water in the house. We will be keeping a supply of FloodSax on hand to be ready for any future flooding.

Outstanding product, fantastic service. We ordered 80 Floodsax in advance of Hurricane Irma arriving at our home. The Floodsax team had our delivery to us in 48 hours, and we were able to use them to keep our house safe and dry. As we had just finished repairing the flood damage from Hurricane Matthew last year, we wanted a product that would protect us against flooding our brand new floors. Floodsax were great in keeping the water out. We will order more, hoping not to need them, and recommended Floodsax to everyone who asks!

This is the 2nd time we've bought these. The original order, they were great. The 2nd order, we haven't used yet but they are larger than the 1st order. It takes time, weeks to dry them out after using them but we did dry them out and have reused them several times over the years. I highly recommend them. You can wet them to inflate them before hand or place them where you want them and let the rain or flood waters inflate them. Just make sure they can't float away before they get inflated.
