Had 2 Geberit cisterns fitted 4 years ago. Have to dis assemble them at least every year to clear a problem with a seal or an inlet valve. The company say this is a simple process but it involves completely removing the workings to access the seal which can be compromised by a small piece of grit in the water supply – and it all takes at least 2 hours for a layman. We have a soft water machine but in a hard water area with no softener it must be much worse. The cisterns cost 拢700 + each plus installation. The UK operation are helpful but there is a basic problem with the product. They need a re engineer on the valve and seal. I've used normal cisterns for 70 years and never had these maintenance problems.
