Asking for payment by check
been getting phone call for about a week 844-248-6949 and other numbers similar. Finally the number above left a message saying something like, I bought software from them and they see a issue with my computer. I called and let them take control of my computer. They scanned the system and found 5 errors were they said some one is stealing my I.P. address and it was called koobface. They showed me the problem, and showed me after it was fixed. Seamed all good till they asked me to email them so they could sent me a invoice to send them a check. They also mentioned after I asked who they were they said Microsoft (something-something).I have not sent a check after investigating scams. They wanted $399.99 for the service.
