My advice is to shop elsewhere. Looking at other reviews here, this is not the first time the company has had issues. Further, it's disappointing that they are not able to offer discounts or refund shipping costs when they make a mistake.
UPDATE: After seeing the response from the company, I wanted to note that the details they provided are inaccurate. When I placed my order, the company was NOT shipping out orders in 2-3 business days. The company was experiencing additional delays of at least 5-7 business days and noted this on their website. Further, when I placed my order, there was no notification that they would be on winter holiday starting December 20th.
Looking through the company鈥檚 responses to other negative reviews here, it is not surprising that they would fail to take responsibility (they told me the issue was a system glitch over the phone) and instead put the blame on another entity and the customer.

Meanwhile my order arrived and it all gone bad. Not edible, if you would eat this, you probably get food poisening. I already tried to get my money back. The shop won鈥檛 even answer to my Paypal Request, after all I spent almost 50鈧?on my order which brought me nothing but trouble, stress and almost food poisening. Imagine if I would have given this to my children for which I ordered those as a big surprise. Also the Shop says that everything was within the regular timeline, not true. I ordered on Friday 6:53am, the website said DHL Express takes 2-3 days for delivery. Then it was delivered an Thursday around 4pm. So dear germanshop24 please buy a calculator. And dear fellow customers: DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS SHOP EVER!

This company stole my money.. I ordered Kinder, and I received the product that expiration date is 鈥渢omorrow鈥?from the day I received it. It鈥檚 a 10 pieces of chocolate, how I鈥檓 gonna eat all of them in one day? Plus, it tasted like acid. So, I called the company and told her about my case, she replied that it鈥檚 all my fault because I didn鈥檛 order the shipping process with cooling condition (even though I did ordered it that costs me 6.99 dollars) she said I should have paid more for it.
Okay, what about the expiration date! That chocolate will expire tomorrow and I just received it today? She said, because I ordered in the last week (it was only 5 days). But, it doesn鈥檛 give you the right to give me the chocolate that will expire tomorrow from the day I received it.
She told me that was the manager and so rude to me and she told me to email the owner.. I emailed him, he said that it鈥檚 my fault because I didn鈥檛 receive the package myself.. It鈥檚 because I live in an apartment that has a front desk service and they delivered it to my unit. (Another reason that doesn鈥檛 make any sense)
I suggest everyone to not order from this terrible website. They steal your money and they wouldn鈥檛 refund you even if it鈥檚 their fault.

Browsing through Amazon I found some retailers selling items. Since Amazon cashes a bit as a third party service, prices are a little higher than the retailers offer on their website directly. I took some time and reviewed different websites. Not only did I compare prices in general but also shipping cost, shipping time and the variety you can get.
Germanshop24 is clearly the best option. My box arrived in less than a week from Germany (my preserving sugar had a tear but not to much spilled- annoying but not the end of the world). The packaging was good, the aroma that comes in tiny glass vials had a multilayered bubble wrap coating. All was snug fit, not only environment friendly, it also reduces shipping cost.
The products on the website are fairly priced especially when having in mind that many retailers offer German offbrand products for almost 10 times the amount it would go for in the discounter store. I know the German prices, so comparing is easy for myself, others ("foreigners") might think they found a good deal while overpaying the product's worth. It might also cause confusion if you compare with US brands. Vanilla extract for example is around 4-5$, the aroma goes for about a Euro in the store. Exchange rates do the rest.
So yes, this team does a wonderful job and they offer an exceptional service! I highly recommend them.

There was a problem in their checkout process which caused my order to go to an old address. I ordered using a new address and I had checked to be sure that I entered it in several times before sending off the order. I have made the mistake of putting in a wrong address before (with this shop in a past order, at that!), and I know that I did not make it this time. They told me instead that I could have remedied the problem had I called after receiving their confirmation email which shows the wrong address. I've never seen a company swap my address after paying so sure, I could have admittedly caught it if I was suspicious that your website was inadequate, but I wasn't as it had functioned well in the past.
I called FedEx, who told me there is nothing they can do and that I should contact the seller. I contacted the seller and was told they do not accept returns, give refunds, or pay to rerout shipments should their system register your order to an address other than the one you entered at checkout. They instead imply that it must have been your fault. I am not new to online ordering, and their system is unlike any other I have encountered, I assure you that my hands are clean of it all.
Service was quick and excellent whenever I had to make any brief contact in the past, but this really just killed it for me. Something is wrong with how your checkout works, and I hope that for the sake of your future customers at least give it a tweak for them. Don't allow an option to put in an address for checkout only for it to redefault to another one without any sort of confirmation whatsoever.
This site says 3 stars is an "average acceptable experience with some friction" and I imagine most people would rate my experience lower than that if it happened to them. I'm giving 3 stars because they're usually fine and I'm sure most orders you make from them will be fine but Lord help you should something go wrong, oh my. Thanks for the past help and memories, was a good run having access to the stuff I remember for a while but I'm sure it will take some time for me to warm up to ever ordering again, if I ever do.

Each item was individually wrapped in bubble wrap so even though the cooling element leaked (it was completely thawed), none of the items got damaged. Everything was tightly packed with no room to move around. Overall my experience with Germanshop24 was good, there were no issues, and I plan to order from them again.

Everything is packed with great care and the merchandise is always fresh. I have only had a discrepancy with a smashed package once (thanks to the FedEx guy who must have used my box as a soccer ball substitute) but GermanShop24 customer service was right there to help. Thank you so much for all you do. It's like having a small Christmas celebration every month.

First of all, if they do not have the type of packaging that they advertise, they should ask me if I wanted the replacement, before sending it. I would have canceled as I do not like the bags in the box. They didn't contact me at all, just sent it as they pleased.
Secondly I sent a photo of what I received and explained that I was missing 2000 grams of formula. The representative purposely manipulated my words to imply that I received 4 extra boxes of formula instead of missing the amount I mentioned (and being different packaging than what I ordered.
Very dishonest. At least try and help the customer when a mistake is made, instead of manipulating their concerns and blowing off the fact that you have your suppliers send products that may not be exactly what the customer wanted.

FedEx did not adhere to the labels to keep my items cool under or at 45掳F, so all of my beloved Milchschnitte bars have to go to the trash because of the smell, and no, not trying them because there was no toilet paper included in shipment 😉
Gummy candy arrived fine, Dickmann's were a bit smushed but edible. Other items seemed to be in good shape and within date-now to find American equivalent of Speisequark.

Ordered July 24. My family lives in Luxembourg and is from Heidelberg so I know there are no holidays right now. I was to receive my items July 30th and according to tracking now, there is no date to be delivered. What is going on? I was so happy to find and receive these items, but now it is a messed up game. Tracking number is 451999081885. Order # is 46229.

That is my work number and they can take messages when I am off. I have no email to indicate anything whatsoever with a delay, and yes, am checking spam now again to ensure this. There is nothing there of notification other than order confirmed on the 19th, shipped on the 24th with expected delivery on the 30th. Mind you I did have the cooling pack included in there for the additional, I think, $6.95, so at this point, I'm figuring the items to be kept cool will be useless because no one knows when delivery will be here.
