I have just attended Big Data/Data Science/Machine Learning Foundation course at iKompass conducted by Prakash Roshan. The course was crafted with good mix of theories and practicals. I was progressively introduced with tools, libraries, models and etc. like Python, Jupyter Notebook, Pandas, … which are relatively new to me. It certainly help unlocked me into the journey of Big Data & Data Science field. We are also given access to the online tutorials and assignments after the course which extend the learning beyond the 3-day course.

This is my third course with iKompass. As before, the course is very engaging and interactive. There are online courses and assignments to follow up, which enforce the knowledge learnt in classroom.

The trainer Roshan is also very helpful during the course, in preparation for certification as well as Q&A after the course.

The 4 days classroom for PMP exam preparation is of the best quality you can expect. Right after, I was able to score the required 70% to take the exam.
The online courses provided as well as exercise helped completing the preparation, and passing the exam felt very easy.

The instruction is top-notch. Covering all of the minutiae within the PMBOK is extremely daunting within a 35-40 hour course, yet I walked away each session with a headache, yes, but with ever-increasing confidence. The instructor made sure to cover essential jargon, definitions, formulae and techniques, but she also emphasized the concepts and reasoning that tied everything together (e.g. plan management is focused mostly on the "how" for all knowledge areas of the project; there is a commonality to what comprises input, tools and techniques and output regardless of process) and that made all the difference in terms of determining the correct answers while taking the PMP exam. I am glad to have chosen iKompass and I recommend without reservation.

Big data and machine learning are big words. The course curriculum is also intimidating. Yet to our surprise, we felt this course was best fit for us – being developers, with excitement to mathematics and statistics and finally, domain expertise. Learning with Roshan is never bookish. In fact the reference material is a secondary reference. He helped us in our journey to dig deep to the subject matter starting from the fundamentals. Then you realize, you are already there – engaged with the subject and excited to know more. This is highly recommended to those already tired of straight coding. I call it coding with a purpose because data science is the future's foundation.

I took the Big Data and Machine Learning course and I highly recommend the course to anyone at any skill level. The course was presented in a very business relevant way. It has opened up our options on how to analyze our business as well as how to automate aspects of it.

I have attended the 3-day Data Science and Machine Learning course. This subject was very new to me. I came across many new terms like Python, R, MongoDB, Pandas and NoSQL when I started searching my job. I absolutely don't have any idea about these terminologies, before I have attended this course.
This 3-day course gave me a very good knowledge in data science and Machine learning. This course boosts up my confidence in writing code in Python using functions and libraries. Roshan's expertise in data science and machine learning made us to understand the concepts very well. As I do not have much programming and data science background, I was very apprehensive at first. However, Roshan explained the difficult concepts clearly. He also explained the logic for writing the code quite well so I had no problem understanding them at all.
The session was very interactive and engaging. He also provided real-life examples of how the concept can be applied.
I would recommend this course for anybody who wants to learn more about big data/data science/machine learning.

I attended the 3-day Data Science/Big Data/Machine Language course by Roshan Prakash end Jan 2019. Roshan is very knowledgeable in this field and he has made it very comprehensive and interesting for the group to understand the important concepts. Roshan has done a good balance in ensuring the class gained the fundamentals before moving into practical hands on and also bringing sufficient interactions and discussions. I have gained enough basics and I am inspired to continue the learning and practice online. The post-lunch afternoons passed so fast with all the interesting hands-on….not a single dull moment !

I always have concerns on the training institution for further learning especially when you have to commit both times and money. Is it worth it or will you be "short-change"? I believe I have made the right choice in choosing iKompass and I am lucky to be trained by Roshan. Roshan is an experienced trainer and he presented the course works material and information very well. The class size is fantastic and interactive. We had many discussions during the period. This made the class very interesting. Roshan took a step further by sharing more insights and news on AI. All these inspire us is to get our hands dirty and start focus on data sets in Pandas and Python programming. I believe in walking along with Roshan will definitely enable us to take up real-life challenges in enterprises at ease.

The class size is just right for interactive learning. The content discussed can be very much tailored to the type of participants in the class. Roshan managed to provide a good starting point towards understanding big data and shared many industrial knowledge on the subject topic. Great for any working professional!

The course provides an insight on the Big Data potential which is very useful, not only to the industry player but also to other organisations. The lessons on Python programming skill is really meaningful in order to realize the Big Data aspiration. Other than that, Roshan has been a very attentive and helpful instructor throughout the course.
However, iKompass may want to consider improvising the class ambience in the future.

I just passed my PMP exam last Sep 10.

I can say that I am lucky to be guided by one of the most experienced PMP guru in Asia if not in the world. And combined with availability of the refresher tools and practice exam, understanding the PMBOK concept becomes easy for me.

What I have taken advantage is the in-class refresher training. After completing my self study, I manage to clarify my doubts on the knowledge areas that I am not very strong especially on Procurement.

All in all, I will definitely recommend iKompass to my colleagues who are planning to pursue their PMP certification.

At the end of the 3 day course conducted by Roshan, I went away inspired to continue on the data science journey. Post-course, there are online videos that you can watch and continue to learn from and assignments with hands on Python programming which is definitely an added bonus and keeps the interest going!
