Fairco Windows Doors

I've taken my review from Google reviews to repost in here to make sure all and any future customers may see this. Fairco operates a shady business that does not take criticism lightly, and are certainly not there for the customer but for themselves. Buyer beware, I urge any other potential client to look elsewhere. I'm not the only bad reviewer or Fairco, they've had plenty. So much so they removed the option to review on Facebook because of "Fake reviews".

I'm glad Fairco finally decided to allow reviews again, after taking them down because they didn't like people telling the truth. This company is a complete and utter scam. Initially it started off great with one of their reps taking all the time needed to allow us to choose our products. We were told we could pick what was installed first, that the workers would work around us, they would clean as they went, provide dust sheets and we were the primary concern. The installers arrived and informed us they were picking what was installed first, and laughed at us when we repeated what the rep had said.

They did not clean as they went, leaving thick dust everywhere and didn't use dust sheets, we had to provide them. They CRACKED the plaster in 4 different rooms above the windows and hid it wrapping the curtains around the poles where the cracks were.

We put the dogs in the back garden to keep them away from the workers, who then proceed to chip and empty buckets of debris and tile on top of them.

They stood over us and told us what to say on their review form being very intimidating. On the first day one installer spent an hour in our toilet and stank the house out. I'm not kidding when I write this, an hour in our bathroom with no apology.

They attempted to take our former mahogony Hall door and claimed they'd "recycle it" yeah right. Our new black door isn't black but a very dark brown, we complained and the office told us there's no such thing as a solid black door, ludicrous!

I had argument after argument with the manager in the office, phone call after phone call not returned pushing and pushing to get them to come back and repair all the damage they caused.

The final product? Needed to be fixed in the area of ten times in 8 months. Faulty door, doors dropping, drafts from windows, incorrectly installed silicone, pieces of pvc falling off – all for 鈧?0,000!

Fairco, you are a scrounge on Irish window installers, a scam of a company that cares only for money, and a blight on consumer trust. Anyone reading this, find an alternative and don't believe the crap this company feeds you.

I cannot commend Reg & Tony enough for their exemplary work and professionalism during a difficult time while dealing with Covid-19. Apart from supplying an amazing service with such quality products they totally observed the rules of engagement with all compliance as set out by the Health Care professionals. The product that Fairco supplies is of the highest order. All windows not only look great, have given the home a new cozy look. We went to Fairco for our windows and doors. We didn鈥檛 know much about them as we live in Dun Laoghaire and they hadn鈥檛 done much business out here. We got 3 quotes from other companies but Fairco came in with the best quote and the option to take our old windows away which the other companies didn鈥檛 offer. Simon the sales guy was amazing, really knowledgable and helpful and when we went to the showroom in Santry, we were really impressed. Kevin came out to do our survey and he was equally knowledgable and so nice. We had a delay because of Christmas but that was fine and when the windows and doors arrived they were exactly as we had ordered. There were a few snags which we listed and emailed. The customer service was first class, the guys came out to do the snags within a week. About a week after the back door was fitted, it wasn鈥檛 closing properly, it was a Saturday and I emailed Fairco. I got a text from one of the fitters giving me a temporary solution and a fitter was here on Monday to fix. I can鈥檛 recommend them more highly, a superb service and their customer service is fabulous.

Gary & Sam were a pleasure to deal with. Very friendly and a pleasure to deal with.

My new windows and doors are fantastic. I can notice the difference already. The fitters were excellent.

The workmen were excellent, polite and quiet! And the door is perfect. This is our second door from Fairco. We are delighted with the service and company.

The windows and doors are finished and they are absolutely fabulous! I'm so happy with them! I got new Sash windows fitted. The standard of workmanship and finish is incredible.

I'm very pleased with my new door and the work was carried out efficiently by both fitters who were most helpful and professional.

Top Class Service

All in all, an excellent company to deal with, from the initial contact, the sales team all the way through to the fitters, they were exceptionally professional, courteous and prompt. All appointments were kept, very clean work, the fitters tidying as they went and after themselves. Exceptionally happy with the work carried out by Fairco. We will be replacing more windows soon – I won't use any other company.

My new French doors and windows have been installed by Fairco and I am delighted. They are top class and I feel very reassured at how safe they are. The work was carried out by Victor and Josh and they were extremely professional and pleasant to have in my house. I would highly recommend Fairco.

I鈥檓 very pleased with my new doors (front and back door). They both look fantastic! The only but is that you always have to remind to lock the door behind you from inside otherwise kids can open it and go out to easily. The installation was super profesional, the guys were very friendly and left the place spotless taking also away the old doors. There was a small problem with the back door during the weekend but it was sorted in no time. I was emailing Fairco on Sunday night and I have a guy on my door at 8am on Monday to fix it so thumbs up to customer service too! Will definitely recommend Fairco to anyone!
