FALLONCUIR

I bought an ostrich cigar case from Fallon Cuir's agent in Morges, Switzerland. The purchase was conducted online. When the case arrived it was immediately obvious that the colour of the ostrich leather had faded due to sun damage. I wrote to both Fallon and the retailer. Whilst the retailer offered to refund or give a small discount, Fallon said there was nothing they could do to restore the colour of the case. This is very strange as the owner of Fallon is ex Hermes and must have extensive knowledge of leather dying and restoration. In the outcome I found a leather restoration company in the UK which for a modest fee restored the colour to it's original state.

Fallon Cuir make the most expensive cigar cases in the world but have a very dismissive approach to their customers-given the high prices they charge this is a disgrace.
