My daughter ordered a dress from Fame and Partners and due to COVID-19 had a complicated situation with the delivery of the dress. She had to come home from school in NYC and the dress was delivered to her NYC apartment after she left New York. After communicating with Fame and Partners and the local Post Office a few times, they were able to redirect the delivery to our California address. They were very prompt at responding to my emails and were very helpful. By the way, the dress is lovely.

Purchased a beautiful Tie Back Mermaid dress in dark forest. The straps were a little long but otherwise fit perfectly. Customer service was very helpful in helping us understand and choose the proper length of the dress. Would definitely purchase from again.

Excellent customer service. Had an issue with delivery service that Fame and Partners handled with such grace and professionalism. Could not be happier with the garments and the way I was treated as a customer x.

This business is a scam. You go through what seems like a fun and unique process custom designing your dress, you take your measurements and what you get is nothing like the pictures and the fit is an absolute joke. I ordered a size 2-it looked like a tent, was about 2鈥?too long, and would easily fit a size 8/10. Why waste our time making us take our measurements if none will be taken into consideration? I returned the dress and was deducted the $35 which is BS. My guess is these people send out the same bad dresses only for them to be returns and they must just profit off the $35 return fee. What.a.joke.

Love my dress! Originally made a mistake regarding dress length, and the customer service team was SO helpful with my exchange. I now have a perfectly fit, beautiful dress, that I cannot wait to wear!!

I sent a dress back months ago and still waiting for a refund. I would never order from this company again. The dress wasn't the same as in the pictures. Be wary.

I placed my order on April 15th and paid the $15 for shipping (5-7 business days). I have yet to receive a shipping number and it鈥檚 May 1st. The reason for two stars is I emailed Fame and Partners Outlet explaining how I wanted a reimbursement for the $15 I paid for shipping (because it wasn鈥檛 shipped in the 5-7 days or delivered during that time frame) and they complied. I was sent an email saying the reimbursement has been initiated. Without that I would have given it 1 star.

I ordered a dress in January for my prom in April, knowing it would take about 8 weeks to be made. Over 8 weeks go by and I still have heard nothing. I emailed and asked about my dress and they replied that it would be sent the next week. Two weeks later, with no shipping number, I email again and they say that there was an issue with the fabric quality and it will take a while for them to replace it. I am extremely disappointed and will not be ordering from this company again.

I really wanted to try a dress I鈥檇 seen on this website for ages and finally plucked the courage to order it and hope it would be the same in the pictures. Surprise surprise, it was NOT the same as the pictures online. The dress was meant to be a light tan gold, and what I have is more of a green brown…
Also in the photos online there were no arm straps but when I received the dress, these extra ribbon ties were added to the arms? When I emailed to question this they said I didn鈥檛 check the box remove arm ties in the customisation menu. How misleading is this!? The photo didn鈥檛 even have these arm ties in.
Anyway, just don鈥檛 bother with the company. The dress would need so many alterations to make it fit properly it鈥檚 not worth it, so I鈥檓 just going to send it back. Think they鈥檒l sting me for the $35 fee… really shady company.
If the dress seems like it鈥檚 too good to be true it probably is.

I purchased a fame and partners dress last year in MYER for my brothers wedding. I had to have it altered and hemmed as I鈥檓 only 157cm. I have never felt so beautiful so have kept an eye on the website for Escada in a different colour as two of my three daughters are getting married 5 months apart. I have always wanted to wear Red as MOB, so was so excited when Escada was released in red. I ordered my dress during the recent sale and it arrived within 10 days – a perfect fit. The beautiful packing and personal messages make the whole experience wonderful. I鈥檓 sure to be a repeat customer.

If you're not prepared to lose 50% of the dress to duties and alterations I do not recommend you by from F&P.

My forest green Escala dress fit like they only made alterations to the length of the dress hem. The waist was way too low and nothing fit quite right. The fabric was heavy (reasonably good quality for polyester) but easily attracted dust (impossible to keep clean), and I felt like the colour was a little cheap. The train was massive for someone that's 5'1", I do not feel like they considered my height when adding it.

Given that is already paid 145$ in duty fees I had wanted to keep it but alterations would have been much more than the 50$ F&P will help cover. All the features (leg slit, draped cowl back) made for tricky alterations.

So I sent it back which cost another 20$, and am expecting to be hit with F&Ps 35 USD fee when the dress is returned.

I was aware of the duty costs and the return fee ahead of time, but given their emphasis on made to order and promise of helping with alterations it makes it hard to think you'd return the dress. To my Canadian ladies- especially those of you like myself who might be splurging to treat yourself to something nice, avoid the stress of shopping from F&P.

It's not a fun or pleasant shopping experience ?

I have read reviews about not being able to get hold of anyone on chat. I have managed to get a hold of a customer service representative on a few occasions via chat around 7am AEST.

I have also found the customer service reps pleasant, helpful and informative. When I had questions about a particular colour or sizing, they always went the extra mile e.g. I was shown various pictures of dresses under different lighting, length and style.

I also received my product well ahead of schedule which was surprising given the complaints I read about issues with timing from reviews. After I placed my order which included VIP delivery, I immediately contacted Fame and Partners and told them about the urgency for my dress. They assured me they would escalate the order which they did. My dress ended up arriving 7 days ahead of schedule.

The material of the dress I ordered was Matte Satin and it was incredibly smooth to touch. Unfortunately, my measuring tape was a mess (who would sell a measuring tape that is inaccurate….bahh) and I incorrectly provided the wrong measurements. The dress ended up being WAY too small at no fault of Fame and Partners. Whilst I have returned the dress, I plan on reordering another from them again.

Fame and Partners was a pleasure to work with for a wedding party of 6. Each bridesmaid was able to find something they felt good in and the bride was delighted her color scheme was able to be accommodated. The development team was so supportive and communicated, it made the experience super stress free. Definitely a fabulous option when needing to accommodate a myriad sizes, heights, shapes and styles. Amazing company, I love their vision of a zero-waste platform and their designs are beautiful.

Customer service is one of their best things, I chatted with someone and then sent and email, I received an answer the same day.

The skirt I got is even better that expected, it鈥檚 heavy and feels great quality, it has beautiful fabric, confortable and perfect fit.

When I purchased the skirt I was afraid that the delivery time frame was super tight for my event, but I sent and email and I got the skirt sooner than expected (4 weeks after ordering).

I would recommend to always send an email about your order and make sure that the measurements are ok for you, I asked about the length and realized I needed it a little longer, they made that adjustment perfectly, the skirt was a little loose on the waist but they will cover up to $50 of tailoring so that is great!

I really hope companies like this become the future of fashion and online shopping. I would definitely buy again

My granddaughter ordered the Palmer Two Piece gown online for her graduation formal. I was very sceptical about her ordering from Fame and Partners particularly after reading some of the reviews posted here.

I found the Customer Service follow up emails excellent however I must admit I was still concerned about when our order would arrive and most importantly if the dress would look like the picture she selected as her design.

The outfit arrived yesterday and to say my granddaughter and myself were delighted with the finished gown would be an understatement.
The gown was identical to the one she selected, tailored to perfection and fitted her like a glove.

After our experience with this Company I would definitely recommend them as an excellent online site for special occasion gowns.

I had a great experience with Fame & Partners – I ordered 10 dresses that all came within 3 days of eachother, and were made beautifully. I had a bunch of questions regarding returns policies, upcoming sales and different adjustments to my dress, they were all answered promptly and perfectly by Cathy who honoured all my requests. I would honestly recommend Fame & Partners to anyone and have been really pleasantly surprised, the process was seamless for me.

I'm honestly surprised by the number of negative reviews and I feel like a decent amount of them are slightly unfair due to varying expectations.

First things first, custom dresses usually range upwards of $500, and are never returnable. Granted you usually go in-store to get measurements done so the need for return isn't quite there. However, Fame & Partners dresses are around 200-300 for a customized dress and are doing it off of the measurements you provide to them. If you call them, they will help you with sizing and even which product may or may not look good with your body type.

Secondly, you should ALWAYS assume that the product will take longer than the 6-8 window, i.e. you shouldn't order a dress that's going to take eight weeks to make if you need to wear it on the eight week. I wouldn't do that with this company, but nor would I do it with any other customized store or any store at all (unless in-person).

Third, the quality of the material is actually quite nice. Because you actually pick the material of the dress, there aren't any (or shouldn't be) any surprises.

I received a dress and it fits like a glove. It's absolutely stunning, and the dark green fabric is exactly what i wanted (and bought) and received.

Huge fan of Fame & Partners. At the end of the day, this dress isn't going to fit or be like a $600 custom dress, because it purely isn't a $600 dress nor a $600 custom dress. However, mine looks like it could be and I'm more than excited to wear it to my friend's wedding.

Terrible return policy. They predicted 15 days max, it took well over 20. For a brand that is entirely online you really need to guarantee good returns. Especially for expensive dresses, you cant be out hundreds of dollars for months.

After I placed my first order at Fame and Partners, I read some reviews about this company online. They were not very good, which actually scared me a lot. Mainly about the delivery schedule and the product quality.

However, my experience turned out to be quite an opposite. I received my order in/on time. The quality of my dress is very nice. The fullness of the tulle is just PERFECT. The material is good. Plus their customer service people did follow up with my order status for me.

Therefore, I鈥檓 super satisfied with my experience with Fame and Partners. This was the first time I ordered from this company directly. I ordered a couple dresses from Free People (by Fame and Partners) lately and I loved them.

Not worth the headache. I selected a dress that was underneath their section "Custom dresses delivered in 2 weeks". I even paid the extra $25 in shipping so it would come 7-10 days later. 4 weeks later I reached out to them and they said the dress still hadn't been made yet and since my dress was custom it caused the shipping to be "immensely impacted". I hardly consider selecting what length I want to be very customized but either way their entire website's motto is that everything is custom. So wouldn't that mean that all customers face the risk of their items being immensely impacted since all items are custom. Why advertise that you can deliver custom dresses in two weeks if that is a promise you can not fulfill?

I made an order of 4 dresses, all with the same estimated shipping time. Though they shipped earlier than the suggested time frame, they all shipped on the same day as different shipments. Since my order shipped as 4 different packages, that meant I had to pay 4 x the duty fees, resulting in a sum of over $400.

Their response was that they process their shipments per dress to get customers their orders as quickly as possible. While I can understand this, my packages all shipped on the same day– surely the order could have been packaged as 1 shipment.

A huge part of my interest in the Fame & Partners brand was their no-waste philosophy. However, it is evident that their environmental impact is not taken into consideration when they unnecessarily processing 1 order into 4 shipments worth of plastic and packaging.

Not only did my order turn out to be absurdly expensive, the products I received are absolutely not worth the price. The quality of the material is poor and the fit is not as expected for "custom" dresses made to my measurements.

My experience with fame and partners has been great. My dress arrived on time and was just as shown online. I found now flaws in the make of the dress or the fit. I鈥檓 looking forward to getting to wear such a beautiful and unique dress and would definitely consider using fame and partners in the future.
