I had no idea how I this company got my information and changed me 39.99 and cancelled my subscription that I don't know how they got but they must like taking people's money that was food on the table for me . so I hope that someone gets there site shut down for not giving people's money back cause most places will refund your money back when you call them about it.

I got stuck with a $39.99 charge on my credit card when I was trying to schedule a COVID vaccination appointment. Had no idea how I got in this site when I logged in on OurShot.IN

Our credit card company notified us that Famitale had charged $1.00 on two separate occasions, then charged $39.99, which they declined. I called Famitale on January 28, 2021, to inquire about the charge and they tried to convince me the subscription to their company was done manually. I assured them this was not true. Eventually, they agreed to cancel the subscription, and Tammy, the customer rep. with whom I spoke, stated an email would be sent to me confirming the cancellation. She also assured me the $39.99 would no longer be charged to my credit card number.

Zero stars. This site cons people into signing up by lying and offering a free trial for streaming content (movies sports etc) but as soon as you sign up you find out they just scanned you into a free trial for a library of reading material. Cancel immediately!!!

I was scammed by Famitale.com, I signed up to watch a college football game and they made me sign up for a $0 fee and a couple days later my card said negative. This was due to Famitale taking my money.

This company tricks you by posing as another website, and then telling you that you need a free account. They say you need to enter your cc information for a $0.00 charge. (I know, usually I never would've done that, but I was in a hurry and I needed to be logged into that account right away!) once logged in, it's a book rental website or something, and you realize it's not actually taking you to where you need to go. In this case, they were posing as a Facebook live event – the Canadian pacific holiday train. They had a fake event starting at the sane time as the real one.

Whenever I am using Chrome, when I first get to almost any website, my first click causes me to be hijacked to famitale.com. I think that once upon a time I was intending to buy something, clicked, was sent to famitale and gave them my into thinking I was ordering from the website where I started. This resulted in two false charges which I disputed and called famitale. They kept saying one and over that they only respond to actual purchaser who give the their info. Which is true, I did give them my info because I was tricked into thinking they were the company I started with. This does not happen when I use Safari, only Chrome. dIt has been going on for months. Why doesn't Chrome or the FCC or some agency stope this? I eventually got a refund on one charge.

I recieved a text message saying that I won a free 3 year subscription to Netflix. Whenever I was signing up for the "netflix subscription" that i was told i won, I had to to put my credit card on file & it ended up being for a website called Famitale an audiobook website and it's charging me $40 a month! I was scammed & my money was stolen. I instantly went on their website & tried to ask for a refund but it won't work! I am going to try & call my bank to see if they can help! But if they can't then what do i do?

I had a very similar experience to another user when I tried to sign up for streaming NFL games live. I signed up for what I thought was the service, but it was really this audio book website. I could not login in or cancel online because the website said it didn't recognize my email address even though I had a registration confirmation from famitale.com in that exact same email account.

I went to NHL-stream.com, clicked on the play button for the game showing the Islanders broadcasters, as instructed; I was redirected to a live-sports site, STILL SHOWING THE NHL LOGO! Signed-up for $0 with full credit card info and wound up on a audio book site- www.famitale.com. Total illegal, deceptive practice that would have charged my card if I didn鈥檛 cancel in 5 days (never disclosed)!! Worst part- the NHL has to know they are doing this!!! It is $39.99/month audio book subscription completely and illegally masked as an NHL streaming service. Unbelievable!!!

I have NO idea how this company got my information and was able to charge me 39.99 for electronic books but when I asked for a refund all I got was a 10 minute run around until I hung up out of frustration and called my bank to stop payment.
