DO NOT BOOK WITH FAREGEEK.

I booked a trip with them with three destinations and paid for it. After arriving at the first destination, they canceled my second flight and did not notify me. They later claimed to have sent an email about this but no email arrived. They also accused me of deleting the email, which makes no sense. I was stuck in a foreign city for three extra days and eventually had to book a flight at a much higher price to travel to my second destination. This amounted to hundreds of dollars of extra expenses – roughly $600USD. For several months I spent hours on the phone and writing emails to them about this. Eventually, they offered me a $50 reduction on my next booking through them. Perhaps needless to say, this was not adequate compensation. The financial cost was secondary to the loss of my vacation. I had plans to visit family who live far away and was not able to see the people I had planned to. It has now been many years since I have seen them and do not know when I'll have an opportunity again. I contemplated suing Faregeek but the costs would have been significantly higher than the value of the benefits. They seem aware of this and use it strategically.

I have booked through faregeek periodically over the years without any difficulty. My most recent booking, however, went very poorly. My flight to Tampa went without hitch, but when I went to the airport to fly away the airline had no record of me. My flights had been cancelled by faregeek without notification. I called their number and was told that an email had been sent and a call had been made to my cell, but neither was received. The phone agent told me a superviser would call me back within two hours (claiming that he was in a meeting), so I waited at the airport. 4 hours later, there was still no call. When I called again I was told it would be 24 to 48 hours before the superviser would call me back. Needless to say, this was frustrating. I was advised to book another flight, but the prices were four times higher due to booking then at the last minute. (My original booking was done well in advance.) I had little choice, though. It was a full 47 hours before the superviser called, and he would not apologize and said that the contract stated that the flight was not confirmed. He offered a $25 voucher. This was a few weeks ago, and now he will not take my calls or forward contact information for a Senior Manager, and takes days or weeks to respond to my email messages. I cannot stress how negligent they have been.

I Anil Kumar , emp. I'd 1269, was working with Protocol Solutions Pvt. Ltd. also known as Faregeek located in Noida, U.P. India. I almost 22 months there and my H. R. Manager Deepindee forced me to resign and I resigned on 11th September 2017. But till date I didn't get my FNF amount. I m doing follow up continuously with my H. R. Manager and she always given me excuses. She is just harrassing me and not paying my money since last one year.

Herman, was really helpful and very clear on explaining the cancellation process.
He stayed with me on the phone through the process. I first called with questions and he made it all easy by explaining and taking time to notated the account. He also gave me time to think and called me back within the timeframe of cancelation to make sure that I didn鈥檛 miss out my cancellation.
I really appreciate his service and positive attitude.

We bought tickets from them and then we had to cancel due to death. They confirmed a per refund. They were terrible. After over three months, they still have not returned the money. They still kept the money.

The agents are very unhelpful and completely useless. The complaint department does not reply at all. They are nightmare. No one should buy from them.

booked and paid for 3 flights to USA in March 2017, 拢1500. No fault of Faregeek but AA cancelled the flight on day of departure. So thought was guaranteed a full refund, which AA said would happen. Still waiting 8 months later for a refund, after many many emails, and initial phone calls. Even had a guarantee from a supervisor, Agnes, that she would resolve the situation 10 days ago, but not heard from her since, and again not responding to my emails. This company is a dead loss and don't keep their promises to respond, just pass the buck all the time.

Update – Have now been refunded, last week in September. Too long in my opinion. I can't afford to have 拢1500 outstanding for 9 months.

Cancelled flights booked 5 months in advance
I used them first time to book flights 5 months in advance. Two days later they notified me that my booking has been cancelled and that i must pay more for the same flight. I called them and they blamed it on the airline. Avoid.

Absolutely horrible. Booked 3 tickets to Europe for about $1500, have our confirmation # and everything. About 10 hours later receive a call (hidden #) saying our flight was CANCELLED. (Not everything, keep reading). Shortly after, we find the same exact flight for $1800+. I give faregeek a call thinking it was a joke because it was hidden #, and they say that the price we had purchased them at was a promotional value and they had no more tickets at that price. Let me remind you that at first they said our flight was cancelled now theyre saying crap about promotional value. There was nothing on our page about this being a promotional value and that there was a chance that we might not be able to get those tickets. I understand if there was a warning or a message stating but there was nothing! This company decided to cancel our THREE tickets because the flight we purchased tickets for had gotten a lot of other buyers and so they decided to raise the prices, AFTER we purchased our tickets and had our confirmation #. Extremely unethical, unreasonable and unprofessional. Dont waste your time or money with this company.

Sent to this site from momondo.com where 2 international tickets were booked and confirmed about 30 hours ago. Til now there are NO TICKETS. They have said, give us another 24 hours!!!! These are legs of an international flight. They were able to ticket and charge one leg, but the trip is worthless without the otther leg. This is after calling them of and on for the last 12 hours. I don't know why they operate like this, confirm booking, but do not issue ticket.STAY AWAY!!!

I was slightly apprehensive about using these guys because id never heard of them, but everything worked out just fine. When I received my flight confirmation, I called the airline who I was booked with to confirm my seat reservation was genuine and they confirmed it was booked and ready. I'd definitely use them again, but just make sure every detail and name spelling is correct on your booking or you'll get charged for corrections.

I've used faregeek twice now. Both trips to Oklahoma city, USA from London Heathrow. I travel this route regularly and was looking for a cheaper way to do so. Faregeek were nothing but helpful for me. I had a problem and they solved it within a few hours as they said they would. 8 flights in total with them (4 each trip) no problems with them at all.
Transactions went through fine I had no problems. Customer services were also really helpful when I was looking for a flight. They found me exactly what I wanted at a great price. I was worried because of the reviews but I always believe a lot of people don't write good reviews as much as they do bad reviews.

I would definitely recommend faregeek to those who are looking for cheaper ways to travel.

By far the worst customer service I have ever encountered. I wasted 4 days continuously calling FareGeek to have my Etickets sent and they kept sending me incorrect information, such as a booking reference or flight changes, instead of the right number. Sometimes they wouldn't send me the information at all unless I called back. I didn't know that FareGeek was playing hard to get.

This has been the most frustrating experience and I will not be booking with FareGeek again in the future, nor will they ever meet my parents.

This company desperately needs a massive change in their customer service department and needs to improve organization and competency.

Sorry FareGeek, but you need to love yourself first before you can love others.

One of the most pleasant experiences after a very very stressful episode at Seattle yesterday. My wife had an onward flight and the earlier connecting flight was delayed, she was at the gates 8 mins after close and could not board. He baggage had been booked thru . She had to keep running between the airlines agents to determine the next course of action: basically the earlier carrier said they had nothing to do with this, even though it was their flight which was delayed and the CSR had the audacity to say it was an "act of god". You don't put a 65 year old lady thru such stress. I had to drive some 230kms in heavy rain at 8 pm. to Seattle to console my wife.After much altercation they finally gave her hotel accommodation and apparently confirmed tickets for the next day.
The following day, we found her ticket was nogo , and the so called "Assistance" gave us a NY 212 number to call, but no one picks up the phone. I then called the toll free number of Faregeek and was promptly helped by Samuel. He re-booked the ticket , called be back twice and emailed me too with the confirmation , all in the space of about 40 mins.
Thanks to Samuel, the wife was on the flight and is now safely at her destination.
