FareStore

A HORRIBLE experience. NEVER EVER book with Farestore/Skybooker. I booked a plane ticket with them, and they never notified me of cancellation, I only happened to find out myself that my flight was cancelled. I now see countless review of people not receiving the cash refunds that they are entitled to so i presume you can add me to this list. I have rang twice asking Farestore to request my cash refund and twice I have been rudely brushed off.

Since this is MONTHS of this nightmare, I'll fill you in on the past couple weeks. Air Canada notified me on April 29th that they have processed my refund (over $500) and that it will be passed on to the 3rd party (Fare store, Skybooker) to reimburse back to us. It can take up to 8 weeks. 8 weeks came and went, reached out to Farestore, and after some back and forth and blaming the delay on Covid, I would see my credit card reimbursed within 7 business days. Well, guess what, 7 days came and went and nothing. I reached put again to AC to make sure all was good, they said yes, the 3rd party has long received the funds and there is no reason why we shouldn't be refunded. I call Farestore and they are saying now that it will not happen. I have email trails confirming we will be refunded, and now it's a series of "go ahead and write your bad reviews, we don't care, you won't get your money back", to give us some more time, to being completely ignored. This is theft. AC gave them money to refund us, and they have decided to keep ot for themselves. DO NOT deal with this company, it is a series of run arounds and passing the buck and then they decide that your refund belongs to them.

Do not use this company. I repeat do not use this company m. During all the covid-19 Crisis I did have a flight originally booked to fly home to Australia from Canada before all the craziness started. I had being checking my booking on air Canada everyday. I tried to call several times once I was given a number for delta airlines and I was not even flying with them. One of my flights got changed and I was notified by air Canada about the change nothing from farestore. I finally got through to a MessageBank with farestore and asked that they call me back about changing my flight. Days had passed still had no callback. Two days before my flight I had missed calls from a American number but no messages left. I was constantly checking my emails and finally received one from farestore asking to revise my itinerary which I did. The only changes were the one that I had already been notified about by aircanada. There was nothing stating that I had to confirm, or recieved the changes or action required. So the morning of my flight home. I wake up check my emails and there is a email from farestore that they have credited my full payment of my booking as the were concerned of a no show. So they cancelled my booking even though they hadn鈥檛 even spoken to me and may I add the email I received about revising my itinerary didn鈥檛 state anything about confirm or contacting them. This was not a good feeling to wake up on the morning of your flight to be told you have no booking. Thank goodness I got through to air Canada and they had my credit there and just redid my booking. The person I spoke with from air Canada was dumbfounded that a company would do that at a time like this. How dare this company cancel my booking. Even if we were already home obliviously we had made the choice to lose our money but for farestore to just take it upon themselves to cancel it as they were concerned of a no show that is ridiculous

I got totally screwed by this company. Bought a round trip ticket from toronto to taiwan. Canada declared that they were going to take tighter security measures versus the corona virus, we rushed to change return dates.
This company does not receive calls over the weekend. And when I finally got in contact with them, the price change that they quoted me was 50$ more than my round trip ticket.
In the end, aircanada cut me a deal, farestore was only good for having a slightly cheaper ticket.

Poor service. Basically customer service is a bunch of liars. They promised to return your call with more information but never called back. Same with emails. It's a nightmare to get your refund back. They keep asking to contact the airline and when I call the airline they are asking to contact farestore to get the refund. Never ever buy a ticket from this unreliable website.

My original flight from China to Canada was canceled by the airline. Mike from schedule change team was able to reschedule and confirm a new flight, free of charge. Although it took a few days to complete the rescheduling, many thanks to Mike for the help.

Be careful! There is a good chance if they are the only ones offering the deal that they won鈥檛 be able to book the flight for you. We were three friends who booked separately yesterday and today we received an email saying that : 鈥淯nfortunately, we are not able to offer the same fare that was booked online due to flight segments being cancelled by the airline in the same class of service.鈥?

But the flight was direct and still exist with the airline company….
