Farmstead Grocery Delivery

Like usual, good communication regarding delivery, delivered within designated time frame, and items/products were for the most part, fine.

The one thing I need to mention is that my string beans were packed with/against ice, which then caused freezing damage to many because they wilted afterwards and I had to throw them out.

That's just note to management that you might want to figure out a different way to keep veggies cold without having them directly up against ice/dry ice.

Let me start by saying that customer service is 5 stars. Every issue I had was dealt with quickly and well. Unfortunately there were many issues: produce arriving or going bad very quickly indicating it was not very fresh. Finding out they were out of something right before delivery, I think at one point I ordered 4 different canned items and didn鈥檛 get any. Delivery happening over 2 hours out of range. Delivery being left at the wrong address. Broken eggs. It would be great too to get feedback on items requested to stock ie 鈥渢hanks, we鈥檝e gotten a lot of those asks and are considering adding鈥?or 鈥測ou鈥檙e the first person requesting this, not likely to add at this time.鈥?I love the concept- and idea that people aren鈥檛 being sent out to stores to shop for you. Understand we are dealing with a pandemic and perfection is not expected, but For me, there were too many issues.

Always receive my order nicely bagged and refrigerated items are adequately packaged to maintain refrigeration temperature.

The products I have purchased have all been Superior to anything I have bought from regular grocery delivery service.
The deliveries placed on my front porch make it easy for me as a disabled senior to bring the items into the house.

Hi! Farmstead produce has been quite consistently good.
The problem is the $6 fee and the fact that items go missing at the last minute – sometimes too, too many.
The 3 hour slot will be an improvement.

I signed up for a 2:30 to 5:00 delivery slot I received a message that my groceries would be delivered between 3: o鈥檆lock and 3:45 As time was getting closer to 3: o鈥檆lock I received another message changing the time to be between 4 to 4:45.
I would rather receive one message saying 鈥淏E AT YOUR HOUSE FOR DELIVERY IN 10 MINUTES鈥?br />
Then arrive in those 10 minutes

I have been using the service for several months and am very happy. The team is always responsive to my questions. The produce is very good quality!

I started using Farmstead over a year ago when fetching heavy groceries from the store got to be a burden at my age: I needed groceries delivered. I selected Farmstead because of their values: locally produced organic food, and minimal packaging. Strauss milk delivered in glass bottles simply tastes better than milk in waxy plastic cartons, and Farmstead will recycle the bottles. I was afraid that the pandemic would put them out of business, but instead they have upgraded their warehouse and delivery systems. These days even more, I prefer getting my groceries delivered to chancing exposure in crowded stores. When businesses have solid values it shows. Thank you Farmstead for turning problems into solutions.

Great service, especially for the ill and elderly during this pandemic; however, processing/packaging/sanitation fees are prohibitive because one is required to purchase new packing each order, making your service very expensive and very wasteful.

Better than Safeway who made mistakes and overcharges. I have only had 2 or 3 mishaps with F.s. Food is the same and more expensive, but at least I get most of what I order. The website could use some work. It should track delivery drivers en route and be more clear, sooner, about what food is out of stock before checkout. Online tipping would be great. Who wants to touch an ATM these days? The online support isn鈥檛 terrific, but has responded to fiscal errors. F.s is the best service right now; hoping they work on continual improvement.

Farmstead offers outstanding food, immaculate customer service, and perfect deliveries. The good is always delicious.

Driver accidentally delivered to a neighbor. When I texted customer service, they immediately corrected the error. So far, I have been very pleased with the quality of the food that they deliver.

We rely on Farmstead for much of our fresh, pantry and staple items each week. They have figured out the issues they had with delayed delivery and are now on point every week. We really appreciate Farmstead's service.

Excellent customer service. I even get texts with approximate time frame, of arriving a little later and when it鈥檚 been delivered. The produce is fresh and I can find organic products that are typically hard to find in my local area like organic bok choy and organic turmeric root.

I鈥檝e used Farmstead almost from their beginning, and I鈥檝e never been disappointed. Their produce is always stellar, and their pantry items are obviously selected with a keen eye. I have never once had an issue with delivery, and I always appreciate their heads-up texts letting me know something is out of stock. I鈥檇 recommend them any day of the week.
