I have used JLR Authorised Dealers for the last 9 years for 2 Range Rovers we have had over this period, and also bought a brand new RR on 1st Sept 2020 which the experience was positive in contrast to what this review is about (see below)

Recently I sent in my used RR Sport for an extended warranty check and was quoted a fixed fee for what they called a 360 check pre warranty activation check. I had a warranty already which was cancelled due to no fault of my own and JLR Farnell Leeds did not seem to care and mentioned to book it in, and they will call me back to see if they can discount the 360 service check as i had only paid for this 4 months prior.
After 2 weeks of me calling them and they ''will call me back'' no one did and eventually i spoke to someone who said there is 'no discount' and i have to pay 拢360 for this warranty check again!
I was shocked as to how liittle JLR Leeds wanted to help and the service was shocking!
I didnt trust JLR Leeds and so rang around some other authorised dealers in the neighbouring areas and to my shock this same check i was offered from a dealer for 拢112!
I rang JLR back and told them, who suddenly became very 'sheepish' and once again classic 'someone will call me back' was reinstated.
I eventually spoke to someone who then reluctantly agreed to 拢100 for the check.
Overall price is one thing which is concerning from this dealership, however the biggest concern for me is the lack of customer service, and I have no trust in this dealership moving forward from a post sales and service perspective.

I'm not going to go into detail unless required, our land rover experience was a complete shambles.

The Farnell Group, in our experience do not understand the concept of customer experience post sale. They did not make us feel supported with the problems we had.

One of the options to resolve the problem we had involved us buying a new vehicle and spending more money.

We opted for a full refund instead as we reported the problem within a month of having the vehicle delivered.

The management team inspire no confidence, once you have made your purchase they just don't want to know.

We ended up handing the vehicle back and are so relieved to be walking away.

We wouldn't wish what happened to us on anyone, just be careful if you do decided to go with Farnell.

Going to Audi, and having just put our order in, what a difference. We can already tell this is going to be so much better.

Boot opened again, no confidence in this car at all, had so much go wrong in 11 months, still not sorted out even though it鈥檚 been in the work shop on numerous occasions, I have no alternative but to part exchange this car even though it has 拢4000 negative equity, this issue has been reported to Farnells and Land Rover throughout the last 11 months, I have asked Farnells to contribute towards me changing this vehicle all they said is I can go in and buy another one off them, I would never buy another car from them, the customer service is very very poor, I shouldn鈥檛 have to get rid of a car that cost me 拢33000 after 11 months due to issues dangerous issues that they haven鈥檛 resolved. This car has been towed away for n several occasions too. No compassion from the management of this company. This company think they鈥檝e don鈥檛 their Job because I refused to take my car back there to be yet again repaired, I made an appointment to take it to WILLIAMS, I also now have a video of one of the faults on the boot. I went into WILLIAMS and while there they gave me a great deal so now I await October for my brand new car and good ridden to this one, WILLIAMS all the way. Steer clear from FARNELLS..

I just had an excellent bit of customer care from Micheal (Quashie). After nearly 2 years, since I bought my car, I just turned up, because a low pressure tyre warning had come on 5 minutes before. Micheal happened to be walking past in the car park. He said he would sort it out, took my keys and before I could finish my coffee, he was back, explained what he had done to fix the problem and the cause.

The vehicle was exactly what I wanted. We had a slight issue with a mark on the vehicle which had not been removed, for handover. But staff dealt with this efficiently. Sales team were really good.

Poor customer service from the start. Once they had my deposit I constantly had to chase them to get the everything ready.

I was advised that the car had full dealer service history and if it was it need of a service within 3 months this would be carried out, both of these statements were a lie as the service history was incomplete and the car needed a service almost immediately after collecting it.

After getting a service carried out (which they refused to pay for) it was discovered that the front diff was leaking and it would need a new one, Farnell refused to pay for this and only offered a buyback option and then went on to ignore my calls or emails. Only when court action was threatened did they finally agree to pay the repair costs for the fault.

I have since had another issue with the brakes which is still on going which they have refused to repair and now fail to reply to my calls or emails again.

Just terrible. My 3 year old Evoque went in for its first MOT and failed on what I was told was discs and pads. 拢550 plus 拢54 for test certificate to get it through. Have since contacted Land Rover warranties as I had purchased an extended warranty with MOT insurance failure cover and I have been told that Farnell LR in fact only failed the MOT on brake linings and not discs !!! Utterly disgusted that they tried to get 拢550 off me and I refused and and said I would get it done at an independent garage when they have availability. My car has been sitting on my drive for 4 days now as I cannot drive it without an MOT waiting to get it fixed.

Had a fantastic experience buying my vehicle from Farnell Land Rover in Nelson. Ben is great to work with. It was a one-stop shop for all of my questions and made car buying a worry-free experience. I also feel that I got an exceptional value and was offered a high level of customer service. Highly recommend going to Farnell Land Rover if you're in the market for a new or slightly used vehicle.

Bought a new car from Michael Q at Farnell, Michael was outstanding. He went went above and beyond on numerous occasions and I honestly couldn鈥檛 be happier.

Michael has a very calming, transparent and honest demeanour that put us at ease while never feeling like we were being pressured in any way.

Recently purchased a Range Rover Evoque on finance from Leeds Farnell. The service that I received from Yin Ho was great from start to finish. He did an excellent job in explaining things to me and answering any questions I had.

I had been to the Mercedes dealership in Leeds prior to my trip to Leeds Farnell, and then experience I had at the two dealerships could not have been more different. I had initially been torn between getting a Mercedes or a Range Rover, however the service that I received from Yin made the decision very easy for me.

Very disappointed with service at Guiseley. I have used this garage for a few years and usually been satisfied. My Poor experience started prior to lockdown and afterwards so cannot be attributed to Covid. I had difficulties booking in, long waits for appointments, even longer if you require Loan vehicle, which you are now required to pay the insurance waiver fee. No collection/delivery service. Twice I attended the showroom where the reception and service desk were un manned. Having dropped my car in at 8.30am this morning for a minor fault I received a phone call at 2pm saying my car had not yet been inspected. I had to call them again for progress update, expecting to collect my car within the day I was told a part was required and not in stock. I am now without my car another day which caused me great inconvenience. It would seem lack of staffing is adversely affecting service quality, something that never happens at Lexus.
