Grandfather in law attempted to buy Freesat from this company and they rejected card payment and requested Bank details, he put it through and they refused to cancel this when he got suspicious. They also didn't answer any messages and wouldn't tell him if they would keep his details. Days later his bank confirmed that they had attempted to take 拢10,000 from him!!! AVOID. He luckily wised up and cancelled all of his bank details.

Tried 3 times with different cards to buy satellite receivers, all transactions refused with follow up emails requesting bank transfers, depriving me of protection under Section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act when you use a credit card. Furthermore possibly the company then has your card details for use now or in the future depending on how they store data! I cancelled all my cards with the bank as soon as I realised the potential risks.

The bank told me this was the correct course of action to take.

looks like scam company wanted to purchase a freesat recorder emailed them yes in stock tried to call phone cuts off tried then to buy online order failed,up pops a chat box Sarah !! have you got this in stock? answer YES good can I buy it? yes unfortunately Gateway is down!! first I knew, I work for a bank-checked no problems with it in Moreton In Marsh,which is where they are.Why cant I get through on phone? reply so many calls coming through! ok we move on "I will send a invoice hold the item you want my bank details are….do a bank transfer" my reply you have to be joking.Looks like they are also BUDGET BARGAINS LTD Unit 1 at same address. I think this is a scam so PLEASE go elsewhere to buy.

I tried to purchase a freezer on line. After two failed attempts I spoke to Sarah on their 'chat' platform. She sent me an Email asking me to pay via BACS. I sent an Email back refusing to do so. No response. I sent another Email saying that I wished to cancel my order. No response. I tried ringing them…no answer! I think it is strange, that they will not accept an on-line order without a date of birth. Hhmm……
Steer well clear, that's my advice!
