We made the best of a long layover at Heathrow by joining a Fat Tire tour. Despite the online booking saying it was full, we contacted the administrative office by email and Julia was incredibly helpful not only in ensuring we could in fact join a tour, but also in giving us detailed directions and some more information. It was super easy to get to the meeting point via underground. Our guide, Fran, was perfect: enthusiastic, friendly, informative and very funny. The other participants on our tour were easy going, companionable and everyone enjoyed the lovely day of cycling. Adult bikes were 3-gear cruisers with wide, cushiony seats and were in adequate working order. We appreciated that the tour was mostly through parks and bike paths and had limited time alongside traffic on roads. Instead of eating lunch during the mid-ride break, we spent 45 minutes at the national gallery. I highly recommend doing this!

We did two cycling tours in Paris with Fat Tire Tours. Both guides were fabulous however Johnny really stood out as exceptional on our Day in Versailles. His knowledge and friendliness was amazing. Would highly recommend this company as a great way to explore Paris for any age 🙂

I could not find a place on the website for descriptions of the tours themselves. Also, the pop up windows on the page block you from navigating it so easily. My friend gave a great review of Fat Tire Tours, so I am happy to book with you, but I might have gone with something else if she had not recommended you.

FTT has been very helpful on both their website and through phone contact. They are the most thoughtful and flexible. Will probably just book with them whenever possible. Thank you.

I very much liked how your website looks, it is clearly structured and I had no problem finding the tour I wanted (Paris day bike tour). However, the description said that this tour was only available in the morning but upon booking I discovered that there is a 3 p.m. tour as well. I think that should be changed.

Your website refused to accept my AMEX card which made me wonder if you really don't want to accept them. AMEX does not reject my charges. The site accepted my Mastercard. Other than that-pas des problemes. This will be my 5th tour with the company.
