For some inexplicable reason the vets at this clinic refuse to perform certain standard medical procedures, among them taking X-rays and cleaning teeth. They seem to be of the opinion that anesthesia is a very bad thing and should be used as little as possible. They are apparently unaware of milder forms of anesthesia available today, just as they seem oblivious to the fact that pets do need to have their teeth checked and cleaned regularly, just like us humans.
We asked Dr. Stig Taber many times to clean the teeth of our two cats but he kept refusing under some ridiculous pretence.
Luckily, we have a new vet now, but the time that our cats went without a cleaning has unfortunately cost them both some major problems. They each have had several teeth removed and have also developed gum disease.
This is a direct result of the negligence on the part of Charlottenlund Dyrehospital.
Which is why I would not recommend this clinic to anyone who truly cares about the well-being of their pets.
