Fidelity Auto Shipping

Fidelity did a great job bringing our car back to Canada from Palm Desert to Vancouver during this covid 19 crisis.
They kept in constant communication with
us and always took my calls if I had a question. During this unprecedented time,
there was a slow down at the border with processing of about 4 days, but this is understandable with all the problems the coronavirus has caused brought. Thanks to Kim and staff for all your help! Stay safe!

DO NOT USE THEM DO NOT USE THEM THEY ARE LIARS AND CROOKS. THEY PROMISED TO PICK UP MY VEHICLE BY A CERTAIN DAY BUT DIDN'T. SO WHEN I CANCELED THE ORDER THEY CHARGED ME 80.00 OF MY 145.00 DEPOSIT. AGAIN THEY ARE CROOKS TRYING TO GET YOUR DEPOSIT AND NOT DELIVER ON THEIR PROMISES.

I would highly recommend using Fidelity Auto Shipping. I shipped my Mazada with no issues on the booking, scheduling, pick up or transporting. They were awesome with no hidden fees, extremely cost competitive and professional. I would use them again.

A horrible company!!!!!!! They are a liar!!!!I told them and wrote them email that my car is gls suv, and they took pictures of my car. But when delivery, they said the contract was a sedan cls! And they only call you half an hour before picking up, and requires you to pay cash, I believe they are trying to escape taxes. And they increase 250$, the worst thing is they damage my car , but won鈥檛 admit it, they kept my kids crying and made my kids nose bleeding. They are lying to get money. I have to sue them!

Hello everyone,
I don't know how to put it in a word or whih is the right word to thank to The Fidelity Auto Shipping.

Put yourself in my shoes, you definitely know how many stars the company earns for their business.

My husband was transferred by air ambulance from Orlando to Toronto; and we must bring our car back home as soon as possible.
Placing the order to our car arriving home just only 4 days. If you have the Questions, you get the Answers right away (by email in my case) and friendly.
The last wonderful part was the driver who brought my car back. At the time he came where to drop off my car, I was in the hospital with my husband, 15' to take me there, so I could not make it on time. He did drive my car to pick up me at the hospital and drop me home. So, tell me what the right word I should put in this review…
So many thank to Odayly U., Demissa R. and Lawrence….

SHORT REVIEW: Was sketched with the idea of shipping my car period, but had to do it. Went with the most affordable quote, which happened to be Fidelity. It was delivered a day late, but I was okay with that. I would definitely use Fidelity again in the future.

LONG REVIEW: I did a lot of research before coming to the conclusion that there is too much conflicting information to find reliable information on auto shipping.

INITIAL RESEARCH: REVIEWS ARE ALL OVER THE PLACE FOR ALL AUTO TRANSPORT COMPANIES. My guess from all of the mixed reviews is that once everything gets set up, the delivery part is really up to the driver, so that part is a total crapshoot. If the driver screws up, ultimately you've got an issue with the driver (though Fidelity or whatever company you use will try to help out), and, based on reviews for ALL COMPANIES, this seems to happen somewhat frequently and seems like it would be very frustrating. Also, I think competition is tight and there may be some false good reviews and false bad reviews. A lot of web sites are sponsored by various shipping companies and (surprise) those web sites have great ratings for their sponsors; however, when you crosscheck BBB/Google/Yelp, etc., the reviews are all generally bad – FOR EVERY COMPANY. So what did I do? I went with the best bid, which happened to be Fidelity. Don't get me wrong, had I been able to distinguish an outstanding company I would have happily paid a premium for the peace of mind; however, there just was too much conflicting data and I thought, well, if I'm going to get screwed, I might as well spend as little as possible doing so.

HERE IS HOW AUTO TRANSPORT WORKS (to the best of my understanding): The shipping companies are the middle man between you and the person that picks up your car. The person that picks up your car could have an 18-wheeler (I assume); could be a pickup with a trailer (what happened for me); probably could be some other option too. The shipping companies charge a fee for setting it up. For Fidelity, the fee was $150 (it was cheapest fee by $50-100). Then you pay the driver the remainder (in cash or by money order). (This seemed very sketchy to me, but it's just how it's done). You can get all sorts of additional options for additional $ (e.g., transport in a closed carrier); but I just went for the "whatever you want to do to get it here" option. The only difference (as far as I could tell) between the companies you choose from is how much of a fee THEY are paid upfront – in other words, what premium you're paying them to be the middle man NOT the driver. The payout to the driver was consistent with every quote I received (I think I got six quotes total).

HERE'S MY EXPERIENCE WITH FIDELITY: I had my car shipped from Florida to Pennsylvania and the cost was $750, with $150 going to Fidelity and $600 going to the driver. Fidelity called me a couple of days ahead of time and stated that the driver wanted $50 (paid to Fidelity) for a fuel surcharge and $550 when he delivered. I paid the $50 and thought it was a little sketchy, but it turns out that it really wasn't – I think this is pretty standard practice.

The driver was supposed to pick it up, AT THE LATEST, on July 3. On the 2nd, I called my friend who was letting me keep it in front of her house and she said that my car was still there. I called Fidelity and they said the car was en route and would be delivered later that day. When I informed Fidelity that the car was still in Florida, they called the driver and then informed me that it would be picked up the night of the 2nd and delivered on the 3rd. At this point, I'm thinking I've made a mistake… I had made the drive a couple of days before and it's a solid 14 hour drive, so I'm thinking there's no way this guy is going to deliver it on the 3rd. Sure enough, on the 3rd the driver calls up and asks if it can be delivered on the 4th because by law he isn't allowed to drive any more and has to take a break. I said that's fine and he ended up meeting me early on the 4th. I paid him and he was super friendly and professional. No hiccups or any issues.

Interestingly it seemed like it was just a husband and wife company. He just had a truck and trailer with two cars (mine and another) and she was his passenger and handled the logistics.

Bottom line, I didn't really care when my car was delivered so I was fine about the timing. I'm giving four stars instead of five because it was late and could have been frustrating (but I was fine with it). If I had needed it, I think you'd be reading a one star review; however, I didn't and I was happy and everything went pretty smoothly.

Booking happened quickly but they convinced me to up the price to get the car moved more quickly. I鈥檓 not sure the extra $100 helped.

But, even worse, on delivery the driver removed my vehicle from the spot closest the truck and it smelled horribly of exhaust. A month later the car still has faint whiffs of engine exhaust which smells like cigarette smoke.

I have used Fidelity Auto Shipping twice now for cross-country car shipping and have been pleased both times. The process is easy, the rates are affordable, car arrives on timely manner and without a scratch. Driver-client communication could be a little better, but overall a good experience. If you are able and willing to work with a 1-2 day window estimate, I would definitely recommend this company and make use of their services again as well.

The hood, roof and trunk of my car have been scraped as if by tree branches. The car was delivered to me at 10:15pm so it was dark and I did not notice right away. I am hoping the scrapes can be minimized with some compound when I get back to NY. I am not happy about this!

Company unable to meet the timeline quoted (delivered almost a month after originally quoted). Unable to meet the price quoted. I had to add money in addition to what was originally stated as the price. When asked for a refund, unable to refund 100% of the amount deposited.
I don't know if they're all this bad, but after working with this company, I pray to never have to use an Auto Transport company in the future.

Moved two vehicles from Laredo Tx to Seattle Wa.
Both trips had their logistics issues on my side and on every turn the personnel from Fidelity would help me out and solve it.
They follow up and do the best to get you exactly what you need and when you need it.
Definitely will recommend it and contract again.

I had purchased a car in North Carolina and needed to transport it to Florida. I did some research online and then found out a neighbor had used Fidelity Auto Shipping for his vehicles. He was very impressed so I decided to go with Fidelity.
True to my neighbors word Fidelity came through with my request. I thought they were priced fairly and they met my agreed upon schedule. The vehicle arrived on time and in perfect order.
