Been figi customer for years. Moved to a new address. Placed my order online this year like every year. Customer service called cause i moved. Cancelled order and had to replace my order which is stupid because my account number never chnaged. Half hour on phone with customer and uneducated rep only changed my address and never placed new order so 3 family members received no gifts for christmas. Filed complaint with BBB and will write a negative review on every site. Also sent email to owners. Stay far away from this company.

First off I would like to say that all of the people leaving 1 star reviews did NOT read the TERMS AND CONDITIONS. It clearly states on there how much the shipping and handling will be (it's based off of how much your order subtotal is.) Yes, the quality can be bad at times, but no company is perfect. And YES YOU DO HAVE TO PAY FOR SHIPPING EVEN IF you return the item because they still had to pay postage to ship it to you(along with $6.95-7.95 to send it back.) And for those of you saying that they shipped it to the wrong address, please just have them double check your shipping address before you tell them it's okay to place the order. If the package does get shipped to the wrong address, just call in and BE POLITE to the customer service rep because then they will do everything they can to help you. It was most likely the mail-carrier's fault for taking it to the wrong place, not the companies. If you're rude to the customer service rep then they will NOT want to talk to you. Just remember that IF YOU DON'T WANT TO TALK TO THEM, THEY WON'T WANT TO TALK TO YOU!
Shipping costs: THEY DON'T CARE HOW EXPENSIVE YOU THINK THE SHIPPING COSTS ARE— if you don't like the shipping costs, then DON'T ORDER! They'll do just fine without you.
Next, just because of the fact that you "have been a customer for # of years" DOES NOT MATTER. If you don't pay your bills on time, then you get a late fee and that is that. This company does not help grow your credit, nor do they have a physical credit card anymore. They give you a rough estimate of a credit limit based off of your household income. YOU ARE PRE-APPROVED FOR A CERTAIN AMOUNT— UNTIL FINAL CREDIT APPROVAL (which can and will change your credit limit based off of household income, etc.)!! Once you place an order, the credit department determines whether or not you need to make a down-payment (down-payments are normal, DON'T YELL AT CUSTOMER SERVICE just because you have to make a down payment… it's not their fault), if it gets cancelled, or if it ships out. The monthly payment number that you see IS JUST AN ESTIMATE— IT CAN CHANGE! (as it says in the Terms & Conditions)
Next: Returning Items – Returns can take between 4-5 weeks during busy season, and 2-3 weeks during their normal season. Then you will be reimbursed for the order subtotal, and then you still owe them for shipping.
When you order something, keep in mind that they only ship on business days, so Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday (before 12:00 p.m.) And to all the people saying they stole your money, they really didn't, you just don't understand how the system works.
To the people saying that you didn't order something and it got shipped to you: NEWS FLASH, you did order it, you probably just don't remember. If you really didn't order it then you probably gave someone your account info which wasn't smart.
TO THE PEOPLE COMPARING THEM TO AMAZON: they are NOT a trillion dollar company, they WILL NOT have free shipping unless there is a promo code out. If you love Amazon, then just order from them instead.
One more thing for the people that call in yelling and swearing: That is NOT GOING TO HELP YOU GET YOUR WAY AT ALL. Just be patient and polite and the CSR will help you! And if someone tells you they aren't able to do something, they really CAN'T, they ARE NOT lazy.
Seriously, read the TERMS AND CONDITIONS before you get mad next time.

Anyone out there thinking of online shopping do not order from Figis' or Figi's gallery they are rip offs. They advertise one price and charge you more then advertised then charge a late fee saying you didn't pay on time after you made a payment on line and was told you had zero balance.

I made three different orders. Not only did they not add them into one account, they charged three separate late charges. I had to go out of town due to death in family & forgot a payment was due. I paid it all & will NEVER shop with them again. I had been buying xmas presents using Figi for many years. Way to go to lose a customer. Their items are very small for the purchase.

The company preys on older people with their high priced stuff. My mom is in hospital and I had to take care of her bills. I found one from Figi's and paid it off early. It was a bit late but the payment was sent. Now she gets a late fee of $15.00. I called to speak with a customer service rep discuss the fee. They would not speak about it to me. I asked if there was amount due and they would not tell. They did say it was current. I called to see if they would waive the fee seeing she was a repeat customer and in the hospital. Plus the account was paid off early. They wanted me to send them a POA. I then called the number again and found they did charge her the $15.00 by going through their Automated System. They do not care about people only getting paid for their overly high priced stuff. Being her POA I will cancelling out her account soon. Bye bye Figi's.

Their products average and shipping prices are high. The split my account into 2 accounts so when I paid off my balance, I really hadn't and then they could charge me a late fee for not knowing about the second account. I held for over 1/2 hour and got one representative who passed me back into holding stating she couldn't help me. They company closed half of its business down this year. Avoid at all costs.

I've no complaint concerning delivery, etc. My first order the cashew nuts were delicious and fresh but the next order wasn't as good and the nuts seemed old.
My serious complaint is their billing system, it needs serious updating. Also, my understanding is that they are closing. I received no notice nor have I received a current bill.

I wish I could give zero stars but anyway. This is a horrible company who shouldn鈥檛 even be in business. They stole money from my elderly grandmother and got away with it. They need to be put out of business. They also have crappy customer service. Nothing about them is good. The company and their crappy chocolate can go eat dog crap.

The Valentine's gift of the roses in a vase along with the delicious chocolates were perfect.
Couldn't have asked for a more precious gift.
We can always count on fabulous gifts as well as wonderful tasting chocolates from Figi's.

Order was placed before deadline for Christmas delivery. Per website and catalog there was guaranteed delivery by Christmas. Order arrived 12/27/18. As soon as I saw the tracking information stating it was expected after Christmas I contacted company. Both customer service reps were rude and told me it wasn't their problem. Reported to BBB and Figis lied, stated that I placed order after deadline which was not true according to the chart on website and catalog. Will NEVER do business with this company again.

I ordered a gift basket on Dec. 9th to be delivered to a relative before Christmas. The gift basket arrived Dec.26th. Unbelievable!
The customer service person put the blame on the shipping company and offered me 30% refund + S&H. I told her that the web site clearly shows a Guarantee that if for any reason you are unsatisfied, they will refund the purchase. She said that this does not qualify. So I ended up taking the 30% + S&H and will NEVER purchase another item from Figi's again.

I am writing this in response to quite a few of these reviews, but particularly, Renee's.

First off, I in no way, shape or form speak for or represent the company. I am a lowly, front line employee who deals with individuals like you on a daily basis.

I do not understand the thought process that would lead you here after your experience just to complain about the "terrible customer service."

You received a faulty item. I get that, but it happens. You are not the first, nor will you be the last, customer of any company who receives a product that does not meet typical standards. If the fact that mistakes happen is a concept you are unable to understand when dealing with businesses of this scale, then you are going to have a really tough time in this world.

Next, you complain that you had to wait on hold. I am curious what you expect during a company's busiest time of the year. Hold times during peak seasons are standard for literally any company you can imagine, and the same people answering your calls are the same people responding to your emails. So your entitled urge to be able to push yourself to the front of the line through calling, emailing, tweeting, etc. is not only making the process slower for everyone else, it is making it slower for yourself.

To address the rest of your complaint, allow me to let you in on a secret: the fudge you received was a free gift. The sender didn't buy anything for you. For spending X amount of dollars they were given a FREE gift of fudge that they chose to send to you. To make up for this mistake with your free gift, you were offered significant compensation in the form of 3 gifts worth considerably more money. Why this replacement gift, why not send you fudge? Because obviously something was wrong with the fudge!

I do not know if you understand supply chain management and ordering on this scale, but we cannot just make new fudge appear…in the middle of the Christmas holiday. So, the company did what it could and, along with eating the cost of the FREE fudge that was sent to you, decided to eat even more cost -including shipping- all to make customers happy.

Explain to me how that is not good customer service? Because it sounds as though your only complaint is that the world was not built specifically to satisfy you every step of the way. These customer service reps work very hard to assist in cleaning up mistakes they had no part in making. They are people, they have families, and they deserve better than to be berated, talked down to, and demonized online by the likes of you.

I ordered the "Holiday Cheer Bakery Tower" and I am completely disappointed in the product I received. The "tower" stands a little over a foot high; each box contained one item of food–quick bread, brownies, petite fours, cookies, and cake. The food was stale, crumbled, much smaller and lesser in quantity than expected. For example, the chocolate grasshopper Bundt cake is the size of a large cupcake and very dry.The small decorative cookies were broken. I planned on serving this at a family gathering but that won't happen. I am disheartened by the quality of this product and now will have to come up with something else for the family dinner. I paid much too much for what I got. Will not order again.

The customer service is AWFUL! When calling in an order they don't tell you the promo codes you provide them are only for online orders! In addition, they try to argue with you and tell you they do not send e-mail confirmation when in fact they used to! I will NEVER use Figi's again and will ask all my family and friends not to either. Terrible!

I purchased a tin of christmas cookies and when I received them there was no plastic covering the tin, Figis always has everything covered in plastic. I also received multi boxes of free peanut and chocolate covered caramels, which were Nasty! They were hard, stale and looked like they had been around since last christmas! I called and the rep told me to discard the cookies which I did and she would send out a new tin, I did not want more of the free candy. I did get the cookies and they were stale tasting, bland and looked horrible like someone drop kicked the can…Figis used to have a good name but something happened and they are not the same as years ago. I won't be ordering again.

Figi's employees blame almost every problem on the person placing the order, BUT guess what…. Since I have problems with them every year, I took the time this year and did print screen of everything. All the recipient's with that had "Mr. & Mrs." on them it only transferred the letter "M". The "Apt #" didn't transfer over either. They are suppose to fix it but on one of them it doesn't show up on my end.

One person says that my order had to be redone because I didn't put the free gift on it. A Figi's employee took it upon themselves and re-did my order with the free gift. They left off TWO people, on one of them, they pulled the old address which was wrong and they got rid of my 15% discount of $148..46. Another employee says my order was re-done because I entered the wrong credit card information which is a lie because I have the print screen that proves I did enter the correct credit card information. The employee left BOTH orders active. I'm told them I'm NOT paying $1,009.56 double!

At first one point an employee was arguing with me saying that I did one order on-line and then did another order as "Mail-In". I stated to them I only did the 11-07-2018 order on-line and I never did the Mail-in order dated 11/14/2018. She kept saying to me (3 times) that I did the mail-in order and each time I said "NO!". Finally, someone determined that it was a Figi's employee that did it.

I got an email of the order and it states " Will ship without delay unless notified" which is wrong. I scheduled all but one of the orders to be delivered from Dec. 13th to Dec. 19th, the one order was to be delivered from Dec. 6th to Dec. 12th. Again, I have print screen's of this. Apparently, they leave a LOT of important information off of the email confirmation.

The email has an order# on it, but guess what…. that is not the number they use and they say it is NOT the order number.

The 2 missing order were suppose to be entered in a new order because they said they could not add it to the order. I confirmed that they would not be charging me shipping. The woman said she would not charge shipping. That woman never took card of it and didn't place a new order.

I have more problems, but don't have time to say more. DON'T Use Figi's!

For my twins birthday, I bought each a Figis Snack Favorite. For my daughter, I bought Spicy Cajun Mix, my son, Cranberry Nut Mix and for me Get-up-and-Go Pistachio Nut Mix. My twins still tell me how much they enjoyed the nut mix I bought them. My only complaint. Too much chocolate in thr otherwise delicious nut mix with my order

Absolutely the WORST customer service ever!!! A supervisor named Debra? Was so rude she hung up on me! I have ordered for over ten years and my parents did for 20 years before me. This is a huge Christmas tradition for us. This year I placed my annual order around $250 plus $40 for shipping and I received two out of stock messages. So I called and asked if I could substitute something else. They said no! Were extremely RUDE!!!! And told me all companies have out of stock issues!!! No they don鈥檛, only your company! Then when I asked to add something to replace my order she said 鈥渉ave I looked in the book as she doesn鈥檛 know what she sells鈥?then hung up on me!!!!! They lost a customer FOREVER!!!! It used to be such a great company……the CEO should be looking at all these complaints on here….This company should be put out of business for such awful and disrespectful people working at their company. If you don鈥檛 have the items don鈥檛 put them online!

Figis DID NOT FOLLOW PRIVACY & SECURITY guidelines! This company allowed a random person to open an account using my address and purchase product! Figis ran a credit check on me with ONLY my address and it was obvious the name given was not associated with my credit. Now, Figis is harassing me to make payment on a Fraudulent account.

I have ordered from Figi's for 26 years. Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas stuff. Merchandise comes to me quickly, it looks great, it is delicious. I give it as gifts to many people. I don't know what is wrong with all these reviews. When I've needed help, they are polite, listening and quick. Please don't believe these bad reviews. Figi's is fantastic and I've never had a bad experience. They are very nice people; you will like dealing with Figi's.

I placed an order with this company on August 16-17, 2018. I ordered the peanut brittle and cinnamon pastries. First of all, they have to approve your credit if you want their credit. I never gave them my SSN so how they find out about me was a little shady to me, but okay because they are a legit company. Since it was my first time placing an order with them which was over $50.00 they approved my order. My other order was like over $90.00 and they requested a down payment. So my all in all suggestions to anyone is if you don't have perfect credit then the amount of the order does matter. If you order over $50.00 like in the range of $50 not over $90 with less than perfect credit, I guess they will approve your order. This company does a hard pull on your credit people and your alerts will let you know that it was them looking at your credit. Figi's approved my order and as of today, I am waiting for them to ship my order. My 4 stars for this company is because they responded to my email fast, they say within 24 hours and they do that. That's why I gave them the 4 stars. Also, I have realized that they have old reviews on their site, some reviews were from 6-9 months ago and even 1-7 years ago. Stuff like that makes me suspicious of their products and the company. Yes, I am still taking a chance with them because I have not paid for my order yet, so what I got to lose. I will be taking photos of my order when it arrives and of the products. I will be doing a detailed review of this company.

Okay, my order arrived on Aug. 24, 2018, actually before the date which was on 25th. Everything is good like my cinnamon pastries and peanut brittle. They came is box then in the tin cans which are pretty and useful. After eating the candy, you can use the tin can for anything. I also posted a photo of my order so everyone can see what the items looked like. The cinnamon pastries were delicious and buttery tasting and the peanut brittle was good too. The items came looking like the photos with the nice looking tin cans. I very pleased with my very first order with this company. Everyone is different about their foods but I just love this company food. I am planning on ordering again from this company. I love everything that I had ordered from them. I even put up an up-to-date review on their site. The cinnamon pastries looked like the photo on their site and the peanut brittle came in 2 medium silver bags in the tin can. A lot in both bags and pastries were great to me. I ate them in one day and they are better when microwave.

Do not use this company if you want good service. I placed an order for Easter 5 days in advance via their website. In order for it to arrive on time the shipping was more expensive than the two items I was sending, but I paid it. I received an email stating that the order was received, a second email that the order was accepted and would be shipped. I never received shipping information. Upon calling them, I was told a letter was sent in the mail to notify me that my items were on back order. Obviously, I was upset and asked to speak to a manager, I got JC. She would not let me voice my complaint without speaking over me stating that receiving a letter via USPS instead of email was a "glich" in their system. I began to speak again and she hung up on me. I called back, entered my order number and waited another 20 minutes only for the call to be immediately
disconnected with out an answer. Third call, I get through and ask to speak to JCs manager and received JC herself. She stated that she doesn't have a manager. The call ended with me getting a refund and an address to mail a complaint letter to. No resolution to the fact that the company made a promise to deliver something and failed miserably. I was thanked for the promise of bad reviews. Worst customer service I have encountered in my entire life.
