I use to use filterbuy, but not anymore. I placed an order on the 19th and followed up on it yesterday. I figured with Christmas there would naturally be a delay.

Sadly I didn't expect this…

I purchased 2 filters from FilterBuy on Amazon. They marked it as shipped even though it never did ship. I asked for an explanation about a week after it shipped and received no response. Finally on 11/17 I made another complaint and asked for a refund. I was given my refund, however, I was still given no explanation as to why it never shipped and why they marked it like it did.

I went over a week without conformation of my order being shipped. According to their web site they have FAST shipping. They apologized and I received my filters a week later, so they are definitely not FAST. The biggest issue I have is the filter quality. It may be made in the US but it's not a good quality filter, and I ordered the MERV 13. It was 1/2 the weight of the Air Bear that it is replacing. So I'm not really saving money over the price of the authentic Air Bear Filter in the store and the quality is not good. I don't recommend.

The filter media in the filters we received is bunched up in the ends instead of the pleats being evenly spaced. I will not buy from them again.

Update: FilterBuy gave me a full refund and did not require me to return the filters that I received. Kudos to their customer service. I'm changing my 1 star to 3 stars.

I have been with Filterbuy for over a year and have received 5 shipments from them. All shipments have arrived on time (I do have a subscription) and the exact filters I ordered each time, no problems. So convenient that my filters arrive at my door rather than having to remember to buy them every 3 months. My experience has been nothing short of outstanding.

Absolutely horrible service this time. Previous orders were delivered as promised but this time…..I've already waited a week and filters are STILL not shipped. Only excuse is that they are "behind in production". Not sure if COVID has brought this company to its knees or if they just don't care about their customers anymore. Called yesterday and was told they'd ship that evening……WRONG….just another lie…just like their claim orders ship within 24 hours. I highly recommend you shop elsewhere. Canceled my order and am doing the same…even if I have to pay more. At least I'll get what I paid for.

Just received my first order from FilterBuy. Unfortunately I purchased 2 of their 16 x 25 x 4 filters. It only measures 15 1/2 x 24 5/8 x 3 3/4 which means its loose around the filter and air can bypass the filter.

How much money can they save by downsizing that amount?

Order filters, they lie all over their website about free shipping within 24 hrs.
After waiting two weeks and contacting them twice, their CS people are only trained on making excuses and can't give you any real answer.

You can buy the same filters for $1.97 at Lowe鈥檚. Suppose to be 24 hrs shipping. Took two weeks. Two different filters ordered. One right one wrong. Sent pictures and haven鈥檛 heard anything back. Use another source.

Don't ask me why but I have used FilterBuy for my past 6 filter orders and each of those orders has had a problem. Either the filters come in and they are the wrong size or the number of filters that I paid for is incorrect. It is very easy to order them online I guess that is why I keep hoping that the next order will be free of any issues. My last order was placed 2 weeks ago and I still have not received them. I have called 3 times and spoke with an agent who tells me that someone will get back to me which they never do. When I told her that nobody ever calls me back after being promised that someone would for the 3rd time she asks me if I want to cancel my order. I will never use them again and I would suggest you find another filter company for your filter needs.

Lost my first order. I called and they reshipped. Order cake and 4 of the 6 ordered were MERV 13 and two were MERV 8 but honestly they are all the same they just slipped a different paper is stating the merv rating, it鈥檚 not printed on the filter itself. These are cheap filters do not waste your money like me :(. Only positive is good customer service.

I've had a good experience with filter by ;they always deliver on time.There was one time they delivered a defective filter I got a return call even on the weekend. The young lady that I spoke to said I've already issued an order for two new filters. I was very impressed that she called me back and took care of the matter.

Terrible Service
I ordered filters from filter buy for my furnace with the appropriate dementions yet they did not fit. A customer service representive, just argued with me claiming I got what I ordered, this was not the case. Filter buy advertises that they have a 90 day money back guarentee, however it isnt advertsied that the shipping falls on you, which costs more than the inital product itself. Wont be shopping from them again.

In April I placed an order. I did not realize until this week that I accidentally ordered the incorrect filter size. When I contacted customer service, I was told it was over 90 days so they could not make an exchange. I explained I never opened them and they were still in the plastic packaging. I have ordered from them since 2017 so I had hoped they would be more understanding. Because of the recent pandemic, many businesses have extended their return policy but not Filterbuy. I will purchase my filters some where else.

There web site says ships in 24 hours, but now, 2 weeks later I get one of my filters and the other one is "as soon as possible" no date, Apologize does not help me

After signing up for the automatic delivery, I received my filter order within 2 weeks. The quality of the filters are below the 3M filters I was buying before, but the price difference meant I could change them out more often. If you typically use off brand filters, then these will probably be about the same.
The reason for the 1 star is, after multiple calls with their customer service, I never received another delivery from them. The first time I called (a month after I was supposed to receive the filters), I as told there was an issue with the courier (FedEx). Supposedly FilterBuy sent out the filters, but bad, bad FedEx didn't scan them so they never made it to my home. FilterBuy was going to send out another shipment of filters immediately. Fast forward another month without receiving any filters. I call again. This time I'm told…the exact same story. Apparently, FedEx didn't scan the package again. Can you believe it? Well, I can't. I get multiple packages from FedEx a week and there might be an issue once in a few years. But packages from FilterBuy are lost almost 100% of the time. Huh?
Anywho, avoid these guys like the plague. I'm still waiting to see if I get my refund or if that will get lost by the bank or something.

Update: I did get my refund within a day of requesting it. So updating my score to 2 stars.

I ordered 6 incorrect size filters for my work….I figured I was stuck with them鈥?I let the company know and they instantly put the money back in my account …I had to do nothing …I didn鈥檛 even ask to return them that is amazing for today!! What customer service! They also told me to donate them no need to return!
I highly recommend filterbuy also they are way cheaper than buying at any store I have ever bought filters at…

My very first order with filter buy on 1/9/20 left a bitter taste in my mouth. The filters sent to me were substandard, I complained to customer care, my complaint was completely ignored. FF to recent times, I thought to myself, maybe I'd go for filters with a higher MERV rating this time, hopefully that takes care of my concern from last time so I order a pack of 6 14x20x1 MERV 11 filters. Well, after 6 days of waiting for my package it finally arrived and turned out to be a pack of 2 18x30x1 filters. What tha ****!. I appreciate the fact that customer care was willing this time to send me a replacement shipment that correctly fulfills my order but that would amount to another 6 days of wait! My unit needs a new filter right now d**n it! This relationship is over!! For good reasons obviously!! I cant put up with this insane level of incompetence!

Trash. I have a local heating and air place that sales filters of better quality for $7 a pop. Website says, actual size is different than listed size. Actual size was different than actual and listed size. Cheap low low quality filters. MERV 13 filter I just received looks like an item from the 99c store rack. Don't waste your time

The packaging box and filters arrived crushed and damaged. Instead of going through the hassle of making a claim and trying to return them , I tried to fix them the best I could and installed them. There are to many filter companies available at the same price point to risk using Filter Buy again.

They only shipped partial order. Impossible to connect with this company. Worst customer service I have ever experienced! A total rip-off! They should be reported. My advise? JUST DON'T!

Bad filters. They save money by manufacturing filter 1/2 to 5/8 shorter, thereby not covering the filter opening.

These are not CUSTOM MADE FILTERS they put the size you request on a sticker, find a filter close to what you want, and put it over the real size and they didn't fit PLAIN FRAUD AND NOT EVEN TRYING TO HIDE IT SO SAD during CORONA VIRUS we need good air filters considering apartments are not changing them out right now.

Warning! Check the size of your filter opening vs. the size of the filter that FilterBuy sells. After buying three filters from FilterBuy, I discovered that the stated size is larger than the actual size they manufacture, thereby allowing considerable air to flow around the filte when it's in the housing.
When I contacted FilterBuy, they offered neither replacements nor a refund.
