FinecoBank

This was the worst banking experience so I left… From the moment I tried to sign up I was struck by issues. When I tried to resolve them I encountered rude and typically very unhelpful service. They sent me emails in Italian even though I signed up in English and most importantly they did NOT do proper KYC as they did not spot a typo error in my sign up documents which meant that when my account was opened, it was technically unusable. I would not touch FinecoBank with a barge pole!

Since they started the UK site its impossible to login into the Italian site from uk. I think that I will leave Fineco after 15 years, the customer service once impeccable is now totally useless. They just tell you to write a mail to the help desk, with that they pretend to show they address the problems. Huge change at Fineco, they will lose a lot of customers

I filled in the online application form four times as it kept reverting back to the beginning when I clicked on the final acceptance box.
Having now read the warnings of others about the very poor response and general untrustworthiness of Fineco Bank, I have decided to take my business to a more responsible company.

I am one of the first customers of Fineco. I have a mortgage with them and a shares portfolio. Very helpful and professional. Also now that I am living abroad.

Why does FB allow these scammers to use their platform? I think they are part of the scam.

They have rejected my application. They provided several different reasons in e-mail. Over the phone they suggested that they won't accept my EU national ID card, they would only do if I was from Italy.

The person I talked to over the phone was impolite and aggressive, and hardly spoke English.

Now I am chasing them for a written statement that they have deleted all my personal data and the photocopy of my ID.

I began signing up with this company and then stopped when I checked the reviews on here. Now, a couple of weeks later, I'm starting to get emails showing that spammers are using my email address to promote dubious finance 'get rich quick' schemes. The spam messages are being posted on blogs in Italian… I only use this email address when I really trust that the contact is reputable and will not give it away to spammers. My mistake – don't make the same one!!

I opened an account with Fineco half a year ago. There is plenty of freebies, free currency exchange, good prices thereafter. Dual currency debit cards. Clearly designed website. I had to withdraw my cash. There was no problem. Slow money transfers, yes, but otherwise this is a solid bank with futuristic outlook as it incorporates banking, trading platform, and supports multi-currency.

FINECO E' UN IMMENSO HEDGE FUND NON DIVERSIFICATO. Per questo Unicredit se ne 猫 liberata.

Been a customer for over 5 years before relocating to UK. Fully featured, not the easiest to understand and use but just works.

Probably the most advanced online banking experience you will find in Italy. It's a shame you are still required to send them some paper forms (who has a printer at home nowadays) and things like statements are paper-only.

I opened a Fineco UK bank account about ten months ago and so far so good.
I don鈥檛 use this account for the day to day transactions but only for my international payments or for when I travel in Euro zone.
Something is missing, that鈥檚 true, like the instant transfer, and sometime is slow but I never had any problems and the few times I contact the customer service, they were very competent and clear.

This is from my personal experience. I did everything online and not on a mobile. Easy to open and easy to operate. They did try to make me use their other services, but I refused. Till now my experience has been fine. Much better than the lousy N26 morons !!

IMPOSSIBLE TO CLOSE AN ACCOUNT.
I live abroad. It is IMPOSSIBLE to add your current phone number to your account profile because you can only add an italian phone number. I made several international phone calls and NEVER I was able to get the right answer. I have been trying to close my account for months now with no success.
I even filed a complaint asking for them to reach out to me. They called my parents in Italy. I AM THE CUSTOMER!! THEY NEED TO FIND A WAY TO COMMUNICATE WITH ME.
Unbelievably incompetent.

Great App, great service for UK residents moving frequently to EU countries. Currency conversions at market rates and zero fees on Euro withdrawals abroad!

Now muti-account with up to 13 currencies.

Unbeatable!

Fineco (UK) is a bank for investing, not for everyday banking in the UK. Access to different markets, multi-currency and low spread FX make it suitable for investing in currencies different from GBP and moving money to other banks in EURO-zone.
For UK everyday banking it lacks the support of Direct Debit, instant bank transfer and it suffers from red-tape and customer support level not up to a UK standard.

Horrible experience, I tried to make a few transactions to my own account and the money never arrived despite receiving a confirmation that the transaction was successful, it took them weeks to get back to my emails, I still have money missing from my account, tried to contact them several times with no response. Avoid.

In an attempt to open an account with this bank, after sending the documents twice, I got an email from they helpdesk saying that my request was rejected ( no reason/motivation was given). I also went to their office to ask a revision of documents before sending them and without any kindness, they said it was all ok, just send it via the post office.
