Keep your money and spend them wisely. After waiting for over a month about the order to come I had me to communicate with the company in order to find out that the box is still at the airport due to Corona crisis (?). They offered me after my emails the opportunity to cancel my order and I still wait for the refund to come (they indicated that I have to wait until the parcel arrives to their company, really?). I am so disappointed with myself that I thought that as Finnish are reliable and that they ruined my surprise to my sister in law. I strongly believe that I lost my money.

The idea of this company is sending off "Finnish baby boxes" similar to the ones Finnish government gives for free to the parents, covered in media all around the globe. However, this is a commercial Finnish baby box from a private company riding on that idea, the box content is not even close to the government one because it contains fewer items and still goes for a higher price. Nevertheless, it makes for a good present if you can afford it, the Moomin clothing is cute and I miss Finland so that is why I ordered it. And hey, they only publish glossy positive reviews on their site, what can possibly go wrong?

So the order is placed and paid, 300鈧?cardboard box with some clothes. For two weeks there is no communication at all if it will be shipped and when. So I contact them in Finnish and a badly written English response is that they have such a surge in orders they have no idea when it will be shipped plus delay from Chinese manufacturers, "as stated on our website" "thank you for your patience" – and note, this is before the corona becomes an issue in Finland. There is no information whatsoever about any delays on their website, when you order or in the confirmation. There is still none as I write this. Lying is really not great.

After waiting for some time, I decide to cancel the order. After the order cancellation is confirmed and money promptly returned, a message arrives (now we are three weeks out) that the box will be shipped in May. I am glad to be done with this company and very disappointed I recommended them since Finnish businesses are usually honest and responsible. You can't ship your product or you don't have it, be honest and update your customers before they pay 300鈧?or more for a box.

There are two attractive item types in their more expensive box: one is regular baby clothing with Moomin patterns and the other is an outside suit by Reima, a well respected Finnish company. I bought outside clothing directly from Reima and cute Nordic clothing from a design Swedish company, more great items that this box, both companies shipped within a week, great comms, cost less in total. A good ending after all.

Not happy.. quite rude customer service… turned a baby box into a bad experience. It was a lovely gift but cs BAD!
