Firmstrong Bikes

Bought Firmstrong Bruiser in like new condition from a neighbor. Looks great. Worked well for two months. Cheap spokes popped on rear wheel and wheel warped after two months. Now the bike is unrideable. Firmstrong won't replace the broken rear wheel because I didn't buy the bike directly from them. They don't stand behind their product because it is made cheaply and won't last. Beware. You get what you pay for.

Placed a order 10 days ago charged my card right away but can't find out what's going on with the order. They aren't taking calls and the emails come back undelivered.

Purchased a bike a month later i recieved a email stating the bike is not available. cannot reach anyone by phone or email. Stay away from this company. it pretty much does not exist.

Has anyone placed an order through Amazon in April or May? Have you received your order or any updates?

i thought they were made in Southern California USA. However, my men's firmstrong bike says made in Vietnam. My wife's ladies firmstrong bike says made in China. Seem to be decent quality.

If I could do a -1 star i would. Ordered a bike April 12th. They charged my cc the very next day. Tried calling them, sending an email regarding a question about the bike. Called but could not leave a voice message. Emailed – it's a dead link!! I did get an email asking me how I was enjoying the bike – WHAT!!! I don't have it yet. Posted a comment on their website to cancel my order – you got it, no response. I disputed the charge with my CC company. Go elsewhere people. It appears that either they can't keep up with orders or they are having financial difficulties. Many other bike companies out there.

Low quality bikes terrible support and service: had an issue with kickstand – bikes kept falling over, multiple emails and calls including sending them requested pics AND videos and they ultimately told me to bend the kickstand to correct the problem myself??? Had one phone support person tell me the kickstand with Allen head bolt required a specialized tool to remove and I would need to take it to a bike mechanic, pay out of pocket and then submit a form and hope to be reimbursed for a $2 bolt on kickstand!!! spend a little more, buy from a local shop and you鈥檒l get a better bike and better support (because they are going to send you there anyway)

I like the bike but I have had to replace the rear wheel twice in less than six months. On both occasions, two of the spokes sheared at the hub. I am a normal 200# man, over 70 so I do not try to do wheelies or take the bike off road. It seems to me that the design of the wheel is faulty. I am now buying wheels elsewhere.

I bought a bike basket. It鈥檚 adorable, roomy and strong. The install directions could be clearer – seems to be translated from another language.

Bike arrived as advertised. 9 year old daughter loves it. Would definately recommend.

Shipping was fast and the quality surpassed my expectations. These bikes are really well made and quite a bargain too. The alloy Urban man's bike Weighs just 30 lbs.

First and foremost, I'd like to thank the customer service staff at Firmstrong for helping me out with my purchase. They were patient and listened to what I needed while making sure to be polite. They were very swift in their responses too. Secondly, I would like to talk about their delivery which was quite fast. I was expecting my bike to arrive in 3 weeks but it arrived in 11 days after my transaction was finalized. Thirdly, the bike was wonderful. It was very easy to assemble and all the parts were there for me. It looks good and I love it. Thank you.

Great customer service. Had a bad rear wheel (coaster brake) and Firmstrong sent a replacement and I received it w/in 2 days and no need to return the original. I had also mistakenly ordered 2 of the same accessory and they immediately credited my card after I called them. Will definitely do business again and refer others

I feel I was taken for a ride. Some of the lowest quality I've seen. This was gift for my girlfriend and I hope it doesn't fold in half from under her. Will NEVER AGAIN consider this bike manufacture.

First time ordering from Firmstrong. Love the look and quality of the bike. I feel the price is right as well. Love how you can customize your own bike to make it 鈥測our own鈥? Only issue was putting it together. Not as easy as the customer service person I spoke to told me. Be careful when setting up the seat on your bike. The long pole/shaft piece fell right down the tube of the bike when putting it together. The instructions should have a large warning as to NOT to do this. We couldn鈥檛 get the piece back out. Had to bring it to a bike shop. They couldn鈥檛 get it out either. Had to rig the bike with another pole for the seat. Now we can鈥檛 adjust the height of the seat because of the pole that鈥檚 stuck in there. Other than this problem, we really do love the bike. It鈥檚 my husband鈥檚 (Father鈥檚 Day gift), and he鈥檚 very happy with it. 🙂

I bought the bike with a rear cargo carrier thinking that Firmstrong would send one that would be the best fit for the bike. Not only did the rear cargo not fit but came with missing nuts & bolts. I've forced the cargo to mount to the bike although it is not level to the ground. That aside, the yellow frame & fenders w/ white side walls gets lots of looks as well as comments how beautiful the bike is.

Happy with my bike, hard to set up. Company didn鈥檛 send the bike post so I had to call and get it shipped out.

I love my Every Journey bike. It's the best bike ever; so comfortable, so easy to shift and so stable to ride. Of course, it's beauty doesn't go unnoticed. The entire staff couldn't have been more attentive and helpful.
