First Vehicle Leasing

I have leased a car for almost 2 years and up to now the service was very good, however having received an email on 13/3/20 reminding me about the forthcoming end of my lease period and my plans re a new vehicle.
I emailed back about asking the procedure at the end of the lease.
I was told in the email reply it would be wise to order sooner rather than later so on 2/5/20 I emailed some of my requirements for my potential new vehicle.
I received an reply on 5/5/20 stating one of the team would be in touch to follow this up. As yet I have heard nothing.
I am very disappointed and emailed again last night stating no one has been in touch.
I searched several other lease car companies last night with my requirements and by 9.30 this morning 3 of them had emailed with quotes and 2 had telephoned. One company will even waive the admin charge as I am a key worker.
I am surprised at the lack of follow up as the initial service was so good.

I recently received a new Golf.

A gentleman called Scott Russell , got me the best deal ever ,
he was very friendly , polite at all times and made sure I was kept up to date with everything I needed to know.

Fantastic experience from beginning to end, especially as it was my first foray into leasing. Ross Longmuir in particular was exceptional; he explained things thoroughly, helped me find my perfect vehicle and at a price point that that I wasn't able to find elsewhere and was super responsive to any questions/queries I had even after the order had been placed. I couldn't have asked for better customer service honestly. The vehicle came exactly as spec'd and delivery was very smooth. I would highly recommend First Vehicle Leasing!

Be careful!!! You need to be clear about which car features are standard, and which are optional extras, e.g. sensors, retractable mirrors, cameras, sat. nav, etc. You need to get this confirmed, in writing, before you order. No good complaining later, as they close ranks.

Try shopping around. There are several good brokers out there, who do take the time and trouble to clarify that the car specifications are what you want, before you actually sign up.

No honour or morals – do not use. Scott found the car that we were looking for and sent us offer document on email. We accepted the offer letter and paid admin fee to secure car. Scott confirmed that the car had then been ordered, after a long process in finding the right car we thought we were now there. However, next day Scott called back to say that he could no longer honour the deal as he had got his pricing wrong. A genuine error was made on his part but rather than accepting their responsibility and honouring the deal they advised that we would just have to pay the increase amount of 拢30+ per month. I then spoke to Duncan (the manager), who advised that they were not going to honour the deal end of. Very, very poor service all round. Scott was genuinely sorry but Duncan's tone was pretty much tough. Not a good way to be dealing with customers and I would strongly suggest that you look elsewhere for a leasing company with better systems and controls than this one.

Car due for delivery Thursday coming, received a call yesterday stating they didnt have the car I have entered into a contract for, so 6 days before delivery, despite delivery being confirmed and all finance agreements having been entered into.
I have been offered an inferior vehicle to the one ordered and offered a pathetic gesture of goodwill from the garage who apparently is to blame.
No consideration from FVL / Arval that I have agreed to return my current car based on contract and confirmed delivery or the fact that they are in breach of contract as they cannot deliver what they agreed to.
Service prior to this had been good but I do genuinely question whether this was purely a sales technique as now things are not going right, there 'isnt more they can do!'
Will stick with leasing from actual manufacturer from now on as the stress and additional time I need to spend trying to resolve this is just unacceptable.

Having decided to lease a car for the first time and undertaking some research via the internet, I contacted First Vehicle Leasing. They managed to source the make, model and colour of the vehicle I required swiftly, while also meeting my budget. Each time I contacted FVL with any queries I received a very prompt response. The car was delivered to my house on the date advised and the driver was courteous, spending time to explain how the key features operated. I would have no hesitation in recommending FVL for your leasing needs.

I have been very badly let down by this company. Was promised a particular deal (to do with excess mileage) but was given something very different after I had accepted the car. The firm basically washed their hands of the matter leaving me some 拢800 out of pocket. The irony is I was about to order another car from them. Thank goodness I found out what was happening before I did that!

Fantastic experience for my first time leasing. David Cochran helped me on the overall process and arranged what car I was getting and was very knowledgeable. Claire Khan has been extremely helpful, always coming back to me with any questions and helped arrange for paperwork and anything concerning receiving the car from the main dealer – she has made the experience excellent for me and would definitely go back to her and the team at FVL.

Fantastic lease company, I have been super impressed with the service we have received from start to finish. Colin Roland firstly setting up the lease of our car was very professional, helpful and didnt try to do the sales pitch I had received from other companies! Louise McPhee dealt with our transaction from there and was very helpful and prompt also. I am very happy with my new Ford Kuga which was delivered within a week of order.
