We purchased a Fisher Paykel Top Load Washer WA4276 in 2013. I have been very satisfied with it in many ways. It washes well & quick, I like all the options that the washer has including a soak mode & the automatic water adjuster for filling loads & it is easy to use. The problem that I have with this washer is that the fins break off the agitator. We will be going on a third agitator at around $80.00. We do not wash unusually large loads or heavy items, we do not even use chlorine bleach on whites, but still the three fins break off. The fins are made from very thin soft plastic & break easily. I feel this is a manufacturing defect. I do not want to spend another $80 on an agitator that I know will break again after a couple of years use. I do not believe this should happen. I like this washer in so many ways, but not sure if I would purchase again because of the way the agitator is made, constantly needs replaced.

I have a 4 year old French Door Fridge Freezer that has broken down 2 days after Christmas. No parts available till mid January. Not good enough as the fridge shouldn't have broken down after 4 years.

Bought a F&P Dishdrawer for 拢1400 a couple of month ago as it had decent reviews and I really liked the design. I think the idea with the two drawers is brilliant. The reason why I can only give a single star is that it's not cleaning anything. I have tried 3 different tablets now and the result is always the same. More than half the dishes come out dirtier than when I put them in and worse because it has now gone through a drying cycle it's so baked in that it's even harder to then clean by hand. Very pretty appliance but utterly useless.

After booking an Service on my Dishdrawer I was delighted by the fast and efficient service provided. Engineer Adam promptly arrived and was very thorough in his diagnosis, which was extremely helpful. His easy going approach and helpful nature really made the experience a very pleasant one – I would highly recommend thank you Adam your a lifesaver!

Purchased 1200 range cooker , one oven doesn鈥檛 work at all and the burners don鈥檛 work this was all as soon as it was installed. They are replacing the entire oven but build quality is terrible. Also bought a dishwasher the double drawer one which is the loudest dishwasher I鈥檝e ever heard you can鈥檛 watch tv in the next room without the doors shut and volume rite up. And thirdly purchased the American fridge freezer and the drawer is hard to open and close and has frozen up . Everything is badly made I wish I hadn鈥檛 bought it so take my advice and don鈥檛 go near it .

I wish I could give zero stars! Purchased a American fridge freezer as part of a new kitchen. Style – full marks! However within a week of using the fridge freezer it turned into a freezer. The water dispensor stopped working and anything put into the fridge freezes. Tried to contact the customer service – nightmare getting to them! After the nth attempt reached someone in NZ or Australia who booked an engineer visit after 8 days. The engineer came and said it was beyond repair. No news from F and P after this. On chasing them again went to NZ office who were unable to access the engineers report. 2 days later they did but still do not have a fridge to replace. It is out of stock and I am supposed to grin and bear it because of Covid. The food wastage as a result is totally unacceptable. Complaint in October and we are now in December. I cannot ask for a refund as the cabinetry is built around this fridge. Complete disaster. Wouldn鈥檛 touch them with a bargepole again!!

I have had various issues with our very old f&p double drawer dishwasher. I called customer services who were very helpful and Adam arrived a few days later to fix it. Adam assured us he could get this dishwasher fully operational again. A couple of hours later and true to his word my dishwasher is now working brilliantly. Thank you very much Adam. I would definitely recommend Adam from Fisher Paykel!

I have already fed back my disappointment to fisher and paykel outlining the details but the gist of my complaint is around poor customer service and not getting back to me in time frames provided. We will call you back in the next day or so became never on two occasions which led to me having to follow up continually. My issues have not yet be solved so let's hope after 2 months of follow up this will be resolved soon. So disappointed as had more expectations from a NZ company.

I need to replace one of the fan heating elements in a double oven after 7 years – no problem with that. Except, you need to take the built in oven out of its housing to do it! All other fan elements, from other manufactures, I have replaced over the years could be done from the front of the oven in ten minutes. Very poor design. Total cost will be almost 拢200 instead of 拢40 as I now need a service engineer for what should have been a very simple job. We do like the double oven, hob, and American fridge/freezer we have; but never again as they are not designed to be serviced easily. Design of all appliances seems to be many years behind the competition and take note of where items are actually made. (Designed in NZ but made in Thailand, China, Italy and Mexico). Oh, and this is a Chinese owned company that upholds all the expected standards of Chinese goods: i.e. Poor quality made for short term use. Do not let the good looks deceive you.

We bought a full set of Fisher & Paykel appliances. They look great, but unfortunately that's where the positive review ends. As actual appliances they are mediocre at best, and generally perform worse than entry-level appliances that I could have paid a fraction of the cost for. I would STRONGLY discourage anyone from buying from this brand. Stove burns everything, oven is a joke, dishwasher barely works. etc etc. This is a brand to show off, not to actually use in a kitchen.

We are bought the drawers dishwasher machine for the price of the Miele. Is time and money waster unit. It doesn`t fit the big plates, plastic are weak. The all they features with the sales man are indicate as a plusses you will never use.
Sometime we have to put back plates for SECOND THIRDS, TIME to be clean out. It absolutely ridiculous for those price. We are in UK, got no idea what kinf of price are they do in NZ, but the quality of product is RUBBISH. never deal again with them.

If I could give a zero I would. Appalling appliances and customer service. Had to replace the extractor fan within 6 months, oven never worked properly keeps causing power cuts, given up with the steam oven. Currently trying to cook family meals on a table top combi oven. 3 visits so far and not fixed. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Great service. We had an issue with our dishwasher and used the online booking service which was really easy. After that we were updated by email up to the appointment. Our service engineer was called Adam and he got to the bottom of the problem in no time and then spent time explaining how we could resolve the issue if it happened again (the drain was blocked).
Well done Adam, Five star service.

great product spent 4k on a free standing oven but needed a part — had to go to FISHER & PAYKEL as they are the Australian agent, been waiting for nearly a month for them to despatch they claim to have 7 in stock but cant find them omg the part is 90cm x 60cm black in colour how hard would it be to find DONT BUY EITHER OF THESE PRODUCT the spares service is pathetic

Fisher and Paykel is by far the worst brand I have dealt with when it comes to quality of their appliances and their customer service. We have spent 20k+ on their appliances but nothing works well.

I have had to call service several times in the first year of the dishwasher and it still does not work well. We end up hand washing most of the dishes. I have a newborn at home and even on the heavy cycle with cascade and almost an empty load, the dishwasher cannot remove the oils from breast milk. Every time we try to use the dishwasher we end up having to wash things again. There is soap deposit on any dishes on the top drawer and the service technician has charged me over $300 for a visit even when we are in warranty.

I have emailed and called many many times but their customer service never replies back and never picks up the call inspite of being on hold for a while.

It is very stressful to own their appliances.

I recently had an issue with my Fisher and Paykel fridge freezer and requested a repair/service. This was carried out by Adam and I could not have been more pleased with the service. We had inherited the appliance when we bought the house and did not have a manual so despite using it for 7 years, there were functions that we simply did not know how to use. In addition to sorting out the issue we had with the freezer, Adam went to great lengths to answer all of my questions about the functionality of the appliance and demonstrated the functions we were struggling with. He was also able to tell us exactly how old the appliance was and provided a download of the original manual. Five star service. Thank you Adam!

Totally disappointed with the Customer Care service I received from this company. Poor communication and service.

Purchased a replacement waste disposal unit over a month ago which includes delivery and installation.
Today is finally the installation day after so many phone calls and only to learn the unit was not with the technician.
I鈥檓 really furious as I had to take time off from work only to be told he needs to reschedule the installation.
What is the process here? Am I the one who needs to chase where the unit is?
Totally unacceptable from a trusted New Zealand company.
It鈥檚 2020 and you really need to review your system.
Today I called your customer care and in the middle of our conversation I was cut off. You would expect her to ring me back but nothing.
Do I need to ring again and wait in the queue ?

Absolutely woeful, I haven鈥檛 been able to use the fridge freezer yet. I had installation issues for 6 months with no help from customer services and now that I kind of installed the product, the fridge freezer doesn鈥檛 actually work. I have been conned out of 拢3500, feel absolutely sick as this took me a year to save for. Shame on them, an absolute den of thieves and criminals.

Fridge was leaking from water filter head, Adam straightaway knew what needed doing and resolved the problem by removing the head and putting a new filter in. Excellent professional service from Adam but should not have been an issue in the first place, appears this is the second basic design fault I have experienced with the machine, not good from a premium brand.

Absolutely abysmal after sales customer service, at least 1 hour waiting on phone to talk to someone every time you call and if you a lucky enough to get to someone, they do not have a clue or have the authority to deal with the situation, their managers are not available to talk to you most of the time, their technicians trying the repair their own whitegoods鈥?faults has no idea how to repair it, they just come to your house and change a part on the fridge without really trying to diagnose the actual problem, so hence the problem is not fixed!! They do not know their stock supply, they do not know have much stock they have in the warehouse or when shipments will be delivered to their warehouse. On top of that, they do not reply to your emails either or call you back; you have to do all the chasing up!

My 1 year old F&P fridge started beeping 2 months ago, repaired 3 times by F&P and it is still faulty. I have been waiting for a replacement fridge for more than 1 month, and I still do not know when I will receive this replacement fridge.
