1. They manage to delete critical reviews. The review of my wife, to which an other user in google reviews (Diana H.) refers disappeared. I assume the critical review of Diana H. will be soon deleted too.
2. There are numerous 5-star reviews from employees of FIV Marbella or spouses of the leadership of the clinic. That's ridiculous! I don't blame the employees, they are probably forced to do so.
You can decide for yourself how one can trust the numbers that they publish or report to the newspapers. The numbers are just so insane that they should receive law suits by more serious and respectable clinics like Gutenberg in Malaga (we are not with them, but if we could start all over again we would go there).
However, just two things regarding the treatment:
1. They destroyed a "Mosaic" embryo without talking to us. We told them immediately after we saw the PDG result to keep it. We saw it as our back-up option in the future, when research advanced in this quickly moving field, if things don't work (they didn't). But they jus destroyed it without saying a word.
2. My wife got a terrible injection before the frozen transfer ("Gonapeptyl"). Besides that other FIV's later told us it was not necessary in her case, she wanted to wait for the THS result, to be sure the transfer makes sense. The doctor said he can inject it anyways. When she asked if doesn't have side-effects the doctor just said "I would never give you anything that is bad for you". So instead of explaining the risks and side-effects and giving us a choice, he would have given it even if the transfer would not take place at this time. The side-effects are terrible, and one can read all over about it. My wife is in terrible condition more than three months now. The period was delayed more than 2 months (which robed us of options), she is in terrible pain, extremely weak, severe hair loss etc. It is like a Mega-Menopause. Of course we cannot do anything regarding getting a baby now. And because we were told there are no side-effects even after they started, we landed three times in the emergency room, because we had no idea what is going on.
Stay away. Look for a serious and respectable clinic, that puts less effort in made up numbers and PR, and more in the medical treatment and the laboratory.
