Ordered the garlic seasoning on 5-23-17. I eventually sent them an email in June, telling them to cancel the order. I had not heard from them and there was no shipping information provided. I received an automated response saying my order was being put together. They eventually shipped the order and never answered any of my emails. When the product arrived it was damaged. The seal was busted and leaked in the box. I reached out to them again and advised them my order was damaged and I wanted my money back. They have never answered me or tried to fix the problem. I eventually filed a complaint with BBB. The company has not tried to respond to the BBB either.

Ordered in April and still have not received at the end of June. No customer service phone number and all I get is an automated response with email. This company is a rip off.

Guys, this place is shady. They will take your money then ignore you. When/if the product arrives, you鈥檒l be disappointed. The whole experience left such a bad taste in my mouth (literally and figuratively) that I gave the products away. I couldn鈥檛 stand seeing them in my kitchen

Came here to write a review but seems like everyone has beat me to it lol. It鈥檚 been two months since I鈥檝e placed my order and still nothing. They鈥檝e emailed me once or twice apologizing for the delay and offered me some coupons for my next purchase. After emailing them asking for an update or if a refund can be issued, the response I got was 鈥渨e鈥檙e sorry, we messed up. Here鈥檚 a video of me saying sorry. Also, here鈥檚 a coupon for your next purchase鈥?the video doesn鈥檛 even play. Pretty sure it was just an image of a play button. I DM鈥檇 them on Instagram but I鈥檓 not expecting them to resolve this issue as I鈥檝e noticed other people have been waiting even a longer time than I have. Disappointing to hear the flavors are bland. What a waste of money.

This same time last year I would have rated them 5 stars, but now, not even 1 if it was possible. I was a loyal customer for 5 years and 3 states. I recommended them, gave away my discount codes, and bought them as gifts for people. But I am now done. I will NEVER again order from them. I will NEVER again recommend them. Chris Wallace is a greedy and doesn't care about his customers. In my last and FINAL order from them I was missing 3 seasonings. I emailed the company and did not hear anything back after 3 days, so I emailed again, same thing. I tweeted at them, nothing. I emailed through the site, nothing. I sent them a dm on intsta, nothing. I called any and all numbers I could find online associated with the company, nothing. I finally decided to spam their insta page with comments, finally I got a response. All the dm said was "What was the email used for the order and what was missing? :(". I responded within a hour, I didn't hear anything back from them. So I left a comment on insta saying I responded to the dm, they liked the comment, but never checked the dm. They do not care about the customers. Chris Wallace has made over $12,000,000 from FlavorGod and only has 7 employees. He is a cheap man who does not care about the integrity of his company. FlavorGod and its owner Chris Wallace are committing a crime by not refunding the difference for the unreceived products. He and his company are committing THEFT. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM.

UPDATE- I went on their site (via my phone) to get screenshots of the products I need for the bank dispute, and I saw there is a chat option. THIS OPTION IS ONLY AVAILABLE VIA THEIR MOBILE SITE. It is an actual person on the other end of the chat.

UPDATE 2 07/06/2020- I NEVER heard from anyone after my above interaction. So I filed a BBB complaint, BBB has reached back out to me on 07/02/2020 to say that FG has not responded to the complain and to see if FG had reached out to me.

On 07/04/2020 I sent a final DM to their Instagram and low and behold while looking at insta on 07/05/2020 someone reached back. I immediately responded with the same information I had previously sent to them. They have sent the missing items, however, this does not change my mind. I will not be ordering from them again. I did also inform them they need to take a look at BBB and Trustpilot, which I don't think they will.

This company is awful, they did not fulfill over half of my order, I have emailed them multiple times with no response. They have no customer support to call, so you just have to hope they email you back after taking money from you and not giving you the product they promised.

I am so extremely disappointed. Initially, I was excited to find Flavor God and all of their creative products, but after a month of no responses to email, and no product, I had to file a claim to try and get a refund.

I don't understand the complaints on shipping, they had a bold disclaimer stating it will take longer to ship at this time. So far this one of the best seasonings I've ever tasted. Garlic lovers and buttery cinnamon roll are my favorites. Thank you for all the work you put into your seasonings.

Ordered on April 18th! This is the only thing I still haven't received from all the things I have ordered online. This is just crazy!! At this point, if I ever receive my spices, it's probably garbage now!!!!! DO NOT ORDER FROM THESE GUYS!!! All the "positive" reviews are either the people who work for the scam company or friends writing them! There is nothing postive about this company to write about. Scam Scam SCAM!!!

Ordered on May 17th and emailed them May 18th to try to cancel my order. Didn鈥檛 get a response or receive any product until June 7th when I got an email where they said they would cancel and refund my order. Haven鈥檛 gotten a refund and it鈥檚 June 16th now. Terrible company.

Ordered on 4/27/20. On 5/28/20 I *finally* got through to someone on their facebook messenger to cancel and refund my order. It's now 6/15 and I have received no refund or my order. I'm having to file a dispute with my card to get my money back. Meanwhile, they are pumping thousands of dollars into advertising to get your money, and their website says their warehouse is running as normal.

It took so long for the spices to ship. I sent numerous emails to see about a shipping date & got the standard emails that someone would get back to me. Never heard from anyone. It took almost a month from the date I ordered them to receive them. And they are not worth the price. Very bland flavors! Very disappointed in them.

This is one of the worse experiences ive had buying online… Other reviews said they've received emails or messages.. i have yet to receive anything and its been almost a month since ordering… all i can say is fck joe rogan for recommending this company and wasting my time and energy and possibly my money…

Placed an order on 5/12 and was immediately charged. I checked the status a week later and it showed my order was on hold. Contacted the company and was told it was missing a shipping address. I told them I wouldn't have been able to place the order without a shipping address. Gave it to them anyway. 5/26 my order was still on hold and I was told it was because they were out of 1 of the seasonings. I asked to cancel my order. On 6/2 my order was "canceled" and I was told I would receive a confirmation email regarding the refund. 6/8 no refund and no email. 6/9 I was told they will reach out to the finance department to expedite the refund and that I would receive a confirmation email. 6/11 still no email or refund and no responses from instagram, Facebook or email. I am disputing with my bank at this point. We are shy from 1 month now and no resolution.

So, I know there are multiple bad reviews for this website, I get it I do. But I actually have had a decent experience with my purchase, it did take 3 weeks to ship, but you do have to take into consideration covid (I also bought perfume from a high end brand that took 2.5 weeks to come in, and I had emailed them and never got a response, only when I did the online chat) With that said, Flavor god makes all their spices to order, and to my understanding they had been short staffed because of covid, so yes there鈥檚 a delay, I never reached out to harass them about my order because I understood it would take a while and I was fine w that, and if I got scammed then I got scammed. on the three week mark my order shipped out and was delivered a few days later. So I just wanted to post this so that people can see that not all the experiences have been bad.

READ THE REVIEWS!! I didn鈥檛 read the reviews when I ordered and I regret it. When I ordered I got an email that said items would be shipped in 10-14 days due to the pandemic (which is reasonable). I paid $25 USD for express shipping, it鈥檚 been well over a month and nothing has been shipped. I emailed customer service and they created a shipping label for USPS when I emailed that鈥檚 been sitting there for more than a week without being picked up. Reading the reviews this is par for the course and has been going on since well before the current pandemic happened. Do yourself a favour and buy something off amazon, don鈥檛 waste your money.

EDIT: I emailed to cancel my order and the email was ignored. After 6 weeks the order has finally been delivered to the USPS facility in LA. Don't believe the fake 5-star reviews.

1 star is generous. Placed an order in May that never shipped. My credit card hadn't been charged yet at this point so I contacted the company to cancel and received an email confirmation that the order had been cancelled, and then my credit card was charged the following day. Next email said they would refund. 3 weeks later, no refund, reached out again and was told my refund was being sent to their financing department to be expedited. Still no refund today, won't respond to emails anymore, not responding to IG messages, deleted my comment from Facebook and sent me an auto response that my order was being shipped even though my request is for a refund on a cancelled order. I have now disputed the charge through my credit card company and will never do business with this company. Buy beware!

I'd give them zero stars if I could. I ordered from Flavor God 22 days ago. I have reached out through email and private messaging, but I can't get a response. I am very frustrated as their page said it was taking 10-14 days for orders to be shipped. I would NEVER recommend Flavor God!! Get your spices elsewhere. You've been warned. Terrible customer service!!!

I actually did receive my spices. I ordered 8 ($55 worth). I haven鈥檛 tried them all yet but so far so good – that鈥檚 what the 2 stars are for. Now, onto what you鈥檙e all expecting: -3 stars for the ordering experience.

I placed my order on May 4 and did not receive any tracking information until June 2. The package was delivered on June 5. I was expecting some delays due to Covid-19 and saw on my order confirmation email that fulfillment time was 10-14 days. What鈥檚 the explanation for the additional 2 weeks I waited? For context, I ordered some items from Hong Kong after I placed my FG order and received them before my spices.

None of the spices I chose were listed as out of stock when I placed the order and I noticed that there are plenty of negative reviews here from pre-Covid times so I can only assume that Flavor God has chosen not to invest in the necessary infrastructure to support their extremely aggressive marketing tactics. As evidenced by the stark lack of any less than complimentary comments on ANY of their social media posts or website and the number of people here, BBB, etc. who state they鈥檝e been blocked for simply asking for an update on their order, this company is fully aware that the way they鈥檙e conducting business is disappointing to their customers. So why haven鈥檛 they done anything to change that? I鈥檓 curious but surely will never get an answer to that question.

1+M followers on their FB, nearly 3M on Instagram, endless sponsored and targeted advertisements, namedrops from Joe Rogan and other celebs, everything is CONSTANTLY on sale with like 4 sales going on at once… I expected more. Why is everything on sale if you have nothing ready or close to ready to ship? Why delete negative comments? Be upfront if you鈥檙e struggling. Silence is not acceptable when you鈥檝e already taken someone鈥檚 money.

Not all companies are Amazon, nor should they be, and these are unprecedented times that are affecting small businesses in unexpected ways. I know the food supply chain has been disrupted and will take a while to recover. None of that has anything to do with something as simple as hiring someone to respond to emails and setting up a working phone number.

I don鈥檛 know if I鈥檒l order again. Maybe if I really find a spice I can鈥檛 live without I鈥檒l risk it. I am willing to wait a month for spices, I guess, if that鈥檚 how it has to be – but Flavor God鈥檚 terrible customer service seems to make the juice not worth the squeeze.

Tip: Save all correspondence – receipt/order confirmation, bank statements, emails or messages you鈥檝e sent (including those asking for a refund), etc. – these items will help immensely if you dispute the charge(s) with your financial institution. And, if you haven鈥檛 received the product, you鈥檒l win the dispute with flying colors and get your money back.

If I could give them a zero I would. I repeatedly tried to contact them to fix a mistake I made on my order. I initially messaged them through their website within minutes of placing my order. I then sent multiple messages to their email, website, and then Facebook throughout the past few weeks. I finally received my order yesterday (nearly a month after I placed it, which I was totally fine in waiting for, I understand longer wait times right now) and it was wrong. I messaged them again on FB. Couple hours later made a post to their page. They messaged me back simply 鈥淲hat was wrong with it?!鈥? Nothing else. They then deleted my post on FB.

Poorest customer service I've ever received! There is no working phone number and the contact form on the website is pointless. I ordered seasonings over a month ago and still haven't received them nor any tracking information, but they've already charged me for the seasonings.

Product wise I would give 5 stars, the seasonings themselves are amazing I have ordered multiple times and the seasonings themselves are amazing. I recently was starting to run out of mine because I use them on every meal I cook so I made an order early enough to have them arrive by the time I was empty and shipping is usually good. My most recent experience however has been slower with Covid. I ordered May 7th and it said 7-14 days because Covid which was understandable. It鈥檚 been a month and a half now and they鈥檝e just gotten into Canada yesterday, so if you鈥檙e patient, it will be worth the wait. You have to realize that the seasonings aren鈥檛 made until an order is placed so your card will be charged instantly, they need to be able to purchase your ingredients and make you seasonings and they will be shipped. The people that are saying it is a 鈥渟cam鈥?are first time impatient buyers. If you are willing to wait the seasonings themselves will make up for the delays. And well worth the money.

I ordered on May 5th its now june 3rd n still nothing I've tried numerous times to contact them n get nothing n return except some lame ass automatic response blaming the pandemic. I wish i would've done more research before ordering with them.
