I've seen marketing for this place for quite sometime but never pieced it together that there was an actual location. I headed over to the market for the holiday handmade weekend. So many decorations I remember my nana having in her home. So many denim jackets, aemes chairs, vintage maps, locally made candles, lavender. Plus The Cafe and Red Hot Roasters was there for all my dessert needs.

I'll definitely be back in the regular season!

Whoa…. vintage… flea market overload! I was totally in love! Street parking and outside restrooms folks! Totally worth the finds. I loved every set up I went too. Not just seeing the goods they had for sell. Listening to some of their stories, they passion for collecting and knowledge of their stuff. Everyone was super nice and inviting. I loved all the booths. The record booths and clothing were my favorite. Seeing pieces of my childhood and vintage wear was fabulous. Finding some vinyls that hit an emotion. Finding that object, you just needed to have on your mantle. Some earrings that reminded you of someone, a story behind the lamp. It was more than just shopping, it was like a stroll through history. I can't wait for the next one! Definitely one to check out.

This event at the waterfront has a little something for everyone. There are about 200 vendors selling antiques, crafts, plants, clothing, art, furniture and more. The food trucks and craft beer selection are on point too. Most of the food trucks take credit cards but bring some cash for the beer. It is a free event that happens on Memorial weekend each year!

Today's event was great! I'm so glad I made the effort to head downtown and browse the almost 200 vendors. Plus, I'm appreciative of how much of the shopping and eating area was shaded on a day hitting 90 degree temps.

This market had a unique feel to it. Some vendors I've seen at other local art fairs but many were new to me or I'd only seen their work on their social media pages. Some offered second hand, vintage items that made me smile. So much fun on a table and it instantly made me feel creative trying to picture how I'd use an item in my house – extra points for an idea that wasn't the typical purpose. Conversation with each vendor was upbeat and friendly and in some cases I heard them making deals with customers, similar to a yard sale.

About 12 food trucks were parked and they smelled delicious. We grabbed food from Germany's #1 Food and shared a picnic table with other folks. Along with food trucks we grabbed an ice coffee and popsicle.

The crowd was plentiful but not too overwhelming. There was plenty of space to move around and enjoy the booths. There seemed to be something for everyone too – some clothes and accessories, furniture, home decor, plants, gifts – just so much. Our big purchase was outside garden decor. We got 3 beautiful steel pieces for around $100 which is an absolute steal!

Parking can be found on the street (pay the meter) or several lots offered paid event parking. Wear comfortable shoes. Under the expressway isn't paved and it's dusty.

To keep updated on when the market comes through follow their Facebook page.

I love going to Fleur de Flea! They have many different vendors with local food, honey, veggies & plants, jams & preserves, handmade & thrifted/vintage clothing and accessories, crafts, records, vintage/antique/second hand furniture and other items. The market is always outside on the waterfront except for their holiday market which changes venues each year. Everyone can find something and enjoy the food trucks, music and views! I recommend bringing a tote bag or two to make it easier to carry items you purchase.

They were right! This one was definitely the largest one yet. I wish it hadn't been so hot and miserable. I actually had to leave pretty soon after we arrived because the heat made me sick. I really wish I had been able to see more. There's always next year!

The Fleur De Flea Vintage Market was enjoyable. There was a nice selection of vintage items. The food trucks were a plus. I was able to find some interesting quirky items.

This place is so fun and it seems like the vendors never end! Definitely set aside a few hours to go through the whole thing. Clothes, art, plants, furniture – you name it and its here not to mention the great local food trucks!!!! I ate at copper kitchen and my Cajun "brunch" burrito was phenomenal. It's a free event, which makes it even better in my book. Make sure you bring water in the summer since it's so hot, and some cash – some places don't take cards. It's also a dog friendly event – SO MANY DOGS TO BE SEEN! Love seeing everyone out and about with their pooches

This was really pretty with all kinds of local vendors and food trucks, however you have to be a millionaire to buy local or vintage or farmhouse items anymore. Hgtv has ruined getting local, bc no one can afford it. I saw a lot wonderful items to get, but 200 for a wood planknis crazy. Everyone was super nice though. And a great break from being couped up in the house, so go check it out

Not really sure how to review this one. Merchandise was a level above the Flea Off Market, but nothing really caught my eye. I was probably also feeling stingy because I thought most stuff was overpriced. But that might be because today's vintage is now the trappings of my middle class childhood.

With a vintage soul this was my cup of tea! I absolutely loved this flea market. Very exciting day and such treasures. There were so many wonderful things to see.

There were pieces 150 years old I would of loved to bring home with me. I was lucky enough to find a pair of earrings to match a vintage ring I'd already bought long ago.

I hope this is something that continues to occur annually as I will be attending if so.

I am a huge Flea off market fan, this is the flea off market on massive steroids! The open area at waterfront park is a great place to host this open air Flea market. Local and not local vendors come here to showcase their treasures. There are so many different types of items and you could spend an entire day just walking the booths and looking at all the unique pieces, art, treasure and some surprises! They had a few food truck options that were located closer to the river and drink options. Beer and wine slushees! So many great options from vintage clothes, decor, honey, my favorite jewelry designer (vintage Liz), farmers, and so much more! This event only happens three times a year. I will be there again in July to walk the booths and see all the new fun things available for sell! Great for all ages and the waterfront overpasses provides a little shade from the Heat, but be prepared. Also, you can bring your fur babies! Be sure they are on a leash but I'm sure they would love the experience too! Yelp was there in May, so be sure to check out their booth, if you are there, usually a free gift when you check in! Score! 🙂

It was a nice market. I went hoping for some of my favorite food trucks and local art, but this flea market is true to its description, vintage. Not really my style of house goods or clothes, but there was a wide variety of items to choose from. We ended up not eating at a food truck because it was really hot! There was seating available and a great band was playing. Old 502 winery had a cheap wine tasting, so we enjoyed that! I also enjoyed meeting two alpacas. I think if I had been there with the right company, I would have enjoyed it more. Will try again sometime, a nice, free way to spend the afternoon.

This was a very nice market. Lots to look at and choose from. Several food vendors and one beer booth brought to us by West Sixth. So the beer prices were my only complaint. I think $7 for a draft brew at a flea market is a little much. I was expecting $6 per beer. That's average everywhere. With that being said, I didn't see much being sold other than food…and beer!

The area was clean, well organized, music performers at several corners, good for adults and kids, and a great location. And it was free! All in all I did enjoy myself and will probably come back in about six months when Louisville has the next one.

A must attend event for vintage lovers. This event brought together a huge number of vintage vendors, food trucks, and other artisans at the waterfront. The weather was perfect, the mood of the event was upbeat, and the booth selection was tremendous. Mark your calendar to attend next year!

We had a TERRIFIC time at the Fleur de Flea VU Market! Located in Waterfront Park, there were rows and rows of flea market peddlers, antiques, food trucks, and local food/wares booths set up. 80's rock (is that now vintage?) piped into the area created a nice undercurrent to the buzz of the crowd and the items for sale were an impressive range of price, quality, rarity and randomness.

It was just me and the under-agers of the household that headed down for the event and we found free street parking about a block away. The kids were sure they would be bored walking in but ended up having a lot of fun finding the treasure they wanted to take home with the $5 shopping spree limit imposed on each. (For the record, we walked away with a plethora of popsicles, two 'walking sticks,' and a gaudy, gigantic silver owl necklace.) I could have spent way, way more than I did last weekend if my wallet and logistics of the situation were a bit different. There was some really cute vintag-ey (sp?) and local tchotchkes, small furniture items, and antiques that were right up my alley.

I would absolutely make this an annual can't miss event. Next year, I'm bringing more cash with me, cleaning out my trunk so I can fit some funky piece of whatever inside, and strapping the kids into a dog sled or some such so they can haul my finds back to the car for me (that's allowed, right??). I would highly recommend that you do the same.

Mush!

The finest outdoor market I've been to. You can shop local at the vintage flea market in waterfront park. Tons of vintage clothing, reused items, art, crafts, books, records, antiques and unique items you can buy here. The atmosphere is great, and the weather was spot on. I like the location at the waterfront park with the Ohio River in the background. If you're a tourist or local this is where you wanna be.

There's also food trucks and they accept credit cards! Just by walking around you'll be sure to spot something cool and unique you'd like to take home. Prices are fair too so skip the mall and spend the day downtown shopping at the fleur de flea vintage market!
