This is the worst business that I have ever encountered in my whole life. The flowers died within 2 days. After being a day late. The box of chocolates that we ordered to be delivered with the flowers were not delivered nor have we gotten a refund. Customer service with Avas does not exist. They say they will call you back but that鈥檚 a lie. They will NEVER return your phone call. DO NOT EVER USE AVAS. I will be reporting them to the BBB.

DO NOT order any flowers from this company ! They are a total fraud ! We ordered a $100 plus large bouquet from them to be delivered as a thank you to someone in Atlanta . We are from the UK . We wanted them to arrive the next day , instead they were two days late and the large bouquet was embarrassing I could have bought better from a UK garage for less than $10 . TOTAL FRAUD . Oh and their complaints e mail does not recognise your order number ….the phone is always engaged …. dealing with heavy demand…… DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM EVER .

i placed an order online today. not only did they take my ordering money they never placed it to be delivered. after 3 rude foreign sounding people hung up on me I had to call back, in total over an hour to find out at 5:30 today it wasn't placed or attempted to deliver on designated times. They are the worst experience I have ever had GO LOCAL never do these online fly by night crap companies

I ordered flowers for a funeral. I choose this company because when I looked online they said they did same day delivery to the town where the funeral was to be held. I made the order on Thursday for a funeral on Saturday. They did not arrive. I received an email at the time the funeral was to start to tell me there was an issue with my order. Do not order from this company.

I reported Avas Flowers in Yarmouth ME to the BBB today. After ordering a delivery of a pretty yellow bouquet this morning to be delivered this afternoon. $55.00 appx an hr later I received an email that they changed my order to roses that would be delivered on 3/3/20. Not anywhere near the date of today and not what I ordered. When I reached out to them I was placed on hold multiple times never allowed to speak to the so called local owner or a supervisor and only got a refund after threatening an attorney….they are not locally owned their corporate headquarters is in NJ per BBB and they lie about same day delivery guarantee.

Worst service!! Said they could do same day delivery and now they are going to be 4 days!! Customer service takes forever and with no resolution! Do not order from them or believe the advertising!

They lied and said same day delivery and had a estimated time before I placed my order for today. Then it changed to 3 days later last minute and I couldn't cancel. I couldn't cancel because I paid EXTRA for same day delivery(it's part of their agreement of terms). Complete NONSENSE!!! Don't go to these people for flowers… Absolute liars and ripoffs.

Ordered flowers in a vase along with chocolates for delivery during morning hours. They assured me it could be done on that schedule. Nothing arrived until 5 PM which was long after the intended recipient had left for the weekend. She lives in the next county and the drive is well over an hour. When they arrived there was no vase and no chocolates. Tried calling Ava鈥檚 and was repeatedly disconnected. As it is, I wasted $150 and a Valentine鈥檚 Day was a big disappointment. Between the poor service and flat out misrepresentations, I can only give this advise: avoid these scamming crooks.

Avas is third party flower delivery service that will not please you at all. They won鈥檛 get your flowers delivered and you cannot get hold of anyone on the phone. Deal with only a true local florist! Out $100 for nothing! Thieves!

If I could rate them lower I would they took my money and Never delivered to the funeral home but told me they did. I'm on the west coast and the funeral was on the east coast. They are the most unprofessional company I've ever dealt with

Total bait and switch!!! They promise same day delivery! But instead, all 3 times I have ordered from them, there is ALWAYS a reason why the order is delayed!!
My mother is in hospital 1100 miles away from me. I ordered same day delivery, got confirmation email, then a phone call to tell me sorry, their "DESIGNER" was done for the day. And they will deliver 2 days late. I told them that was unacceptable, and it was Saturday or not at all. Well, instead of listening to me. He went ahead and approved a Monday delivery!!! I did not!!!

You run a total bait and switch!!! I thought it only fair you know just how your employees treated me! And, for the awful service I am supposed to be happy with a 10% discount, and "extra beautiful arrangements" .
Well, news flash, I already ordered a great arrangement.your business is absolutely Terrible!!!

We otped for same day delivery on the 31st of December and received confirmation that the flowers would be delivered that day. We then received a message saying that delivery was attempted but could not be fulfilled. This was all BS.
We then got notice that the flowers would be delivered the next day – nothing received. Meanwhile we could not get through to the actual company to see what was going on.
Finally got through on the 3rd day (the 2nd of Jan) and was told they do not work on the 1st and because the order was placed after midday on the 31st the delivery wasnt going to happen that day.

Terrible customer service. And practical lies to the customer through automated messages. And to say they are family run. Really not great. Better to stick with local florists!

They never delivered the order. They said it would take over 24 hours to find out where the order is. I ordered for my mothers 73rd birthday and it just never arrived. I would never use them again.

I ordered my daughter a birthday arrangement to be delivered on Dec. 1 – her birthday. It was not delivered on her birthday, or the next day, so I called. The recorded voice said it would be delivered today. Then I received a text to call them. After being on hold for 10 min, I was informed it would be $30 more than I had already paid. After 10 more minutes on hold, I was offered a substitute arrangement, but would still owe $10 more. So I cancelled my whole order and will warn others not to use Ava's Flowers.

I should have done my research first. Seeing all of these complaints I hope my co worker recieves the flowers I ordered. Were already at a bad start, I recieved an email saying that they could not deliver the flowers at the time they said it would, and that the flower I ordered is out of stock. Why let someone order something you dont have! Then they gave me a 15% discount on my next purchase. There wont be one.

DO NOT USE.
Ordered flowers at noon. For my daughter's birthday. I was assured they would be delivered on time. I was asked for my phone number and email address so that they could reach me in there was any problem. They charged my account and never delivered the flowers, nor did they contact me regarding any problem with the order. I didn't find out they had not been delivered until I asked my daughter late last night. No one contacted me. After 30 minutes on the phone with customer service, they offered to send the flowers and provide me with store credit. I asked to speak with a supervisor and was told I would be contacted on a short period of time. Five hours passed, had to go through the whole story and was told that my money had been refunded and the flowers would not be delivered and that I would receive no store credit. I had the call reviewed and the supervisor told me that I had refused the delivery and the store credit. This was a lie. Don't waste your time and money on this company.

Overall horrible experience. First and foremost their system duplicated my order and charged my account $165.00, which by the way came out immediately, I tried feverishly to stop the order, not only by calling them, but then on their website to no avail. As I tried to put in my order number's the system kept telling me they did not exist, when I finally spoke to them, they stated there was nothing they could do. So unfortunately 2 orders were delivered. The first one was ok, but still not what I ordered, the second one was probably the worst display of workmanship I have ever seen, basically it was 12 roses stuck in a way wrong color vase, roses were wilted! When I did finally get to talk to someone, I stated the obvious, why would I order the exact same thing to be delivered, and a card that read the exact same thing? I could go on and on about this, but I won't. Bottom line is there are a lot of choices when ordering flowers to be delivered and Avas should most definitely not be one of them. AVOID AVAS at all costs!!

Booked same day delivery before I checked the reviews.

I called them up to cancel the order and been told there is no option to do that as you have to cancel at least 24 hours before, even I called up within 10 minutes after placing my order.

I called the local florist and after paying over the phone the local florist delivered flowers within 1 hours for half the price I paid with Avas. I am so glad I did because..

The flowers I ordered with Avas Flowers didn't arrive that day even I received an email confirmation they delivered it. It arrived only on the next day before 4pm.. a day after my grandma's birthday and the flower wasn't as advertised.

The whole point ordering from a very expensive site to get the flowers there on time but they couldn't cancel the order and couldn't deliver on time as promised. I have been offered $20 off my next purchase, well there won't be a next time.

The flowers were pretty BUT didnt match what was bought and after all the fees and FREE shipping it cost my husband $75 for flowers! The flowers were priced at $39. I told my husband to never do that again, not worth it.

Our company has a local DMV agent we work primarily through, and we absolutely adore her. She fell ill and was in the hospital recently, so of course we wanted to send her something bright and cheerful to bring up her spirits. She called us the next day to tell us that it had been delivered and that the bouquet was lovely! The only thing we would want more is if we could be shown what the arrangement looks like prior to delivery because she could have just been being polite while whichever local florist was chosen skimped on the arrangement, but I'm giving the benefit of a doubt. From what I can see, it went well.

Spending special occasions so far away from my mom is hard. I want to do something special and trust that it's going to be as nice as the photo I picked. I was very pleased with the flower arrangement, card and balloons that were delivered to my mom on her birthday!

spent over 100 for a funeral arrangements and basically got
a grocery store arrangement.. (actually a grocery store arrangement would have been of better quality) i called customer service..emailed them pics, and Customer service agreed.the ones i got delivered DID NOT resemble the pic of what was ordered..please save yourself the trouble.and do not use this company .3 months now and still waiting for a refund… (please share) save your $$.and dont disappoint loved ones with horrible arrangements from this company..

I ordered flowers for my wife over the phone for delivery I asked for a 65$ Bouquet which was $78 after taxes and fees. The flowers showed up wilted and aged my wife wasn鈥檛 happy at all. I called Avas was on hold for 20 min they asked me to send pictures which I did and then responded in an email that the flowers were in acceptable condition! Offered nothing else. Their way to expensive to be offering such inferior flowers. I would never order from them again nor would I ever recommend them
