Great way to get piece of mind. that I can verify whether my kids are doing what they say they're doing on their computers! Pretty easy to see results.

Areas to improve: Notifications keep going to my junk folder even if I mark it as safe. It would be better if there were an app that provided the results from computer activity vs having to go to the website.. And it is pretty pricey for a single device… I would like to be able to put it on all my kids' devices but it would break the bank! Another area is around settings. I don't know how to see what alert words I checked off to include so just have to assume it saved my settings that I selected. Lastly, I cant tell what the screenshot capture limit is – it says I reached my limit and I have to pay another $17 to recharge that but I dont know what that means …
Overall I do find it useful and am grateful to have it to keep me informed and better able to know whether my kids are in danger or not.

Fonepaw has now refunded me. After the way they treated me, I never thought they would. They finally followed their own company refund policy, did what should've been done in the first place and refunded me. However, I feel people should still be warned about the terrible customer service I endured for over two months. Unfortunately, FonePaw still deserves a 1 star rating. Please be extremely cautious if you're considering buying from FonePaw.

FONEPAW IS A SCAM. I tried to get help from them for the technical malfunctions of the screen recorder I bought from FonePaw for 70 days. I emailed with EMILY WATSON from [email protected]***.zendesk.com in about 40 emails and in customer support tickets I submitted on fonepaw.***/contact. She cheated me out of my money, and worse, she sneakily lied, deceived and led me on, trying to tire me out until I gave up on all of our communications. She didn't even have the decency to admit it. I'm going to warn everyone I should about FonePaw. To protect them, I'll tell them to never buy anything from FonePaw. EMILY WATSON at FonePaw is a liar and a thief. She is a swindler and a coward. I hope she quits her job and finds another where she doesn't willfully hurt people for a living. She's a horrible employee. I hope there are decent people working at FonePaw and that she's not a common representation of the other employees at FonePaw.

But after reading others reviews about FonePaw, I believe the whole company is likely led by crooks who are out to steal your money and time. After weeks of trying to get a straight answer from them, they refused to answer my simple yes or no question. "Will you give me the refund I am eligible to receive or break the FonePaw Refund Policy and not refund me?". Emily Watson at FonePaw never answered this question even though I asked and emailed her multiple times over several weeks. She would respond to my emails, but never answer my questions or respond to other subjects I brought up in the messages. She always tried to wear me down so I'd give up. Dragging the pretend help on and on. She was extremely rude and condescending. She thought I didn't know she was cheating me. Even though I called her out on it at least a couple times, she'd still pretend she was caringly trying to help, treating me like an idiot. She's a coward for not being forthright. I wanted the refund of course, but more than anything, I wanted to be treated with respect, courtesy, kindness. I was her customer for heaven's sake! She could've at least been straight with me and said no, we won't refund you. She slowly dragged me on like this for weeks and weeks. I never got the refund even though my circumstances clearly applied to their own company refund policy. I provided what they asked for and followed their directions. And they only used my compliance as a method to deceive me longer. It was a cruel, long con.

If you're considering being a FonePaw customer, don't ever give them your money and run for dear life!!! Even if you bought something from them and it works, whenever you'd need maintenance or customer support for other reasons, the way they treat and communicate with their customers is abominable! FonePaw should be ashamed.

I downloaded this app, and it forced me to purchase it. The whole transfer for the free thing is a scam. They only allow a very short amount of data to get transferred for free. Even after I paid, it kept giving me errors. They only have emails for customer service. They answered after 4 days and had me go through a lot of hoops. They still can't fix the issue and refuse to refund me even though it's been a month of going back and forth with them (usually waiting 4 days to a week for a response)… I called Apple customer service and they were able to help me immediately with my data transfer for FREE. I would never recommend them to anyone.

This software is not as good as other less expensive programs, and what is really poor is the slow, painful, and poor technical support. It's only by e-mail and it can take days to weeks to get a response. Often the response is wrong or not relevant, as if they never read the problem.

When transferring files between computer and Iphone it changes the title of the file and even transfers other files into other folders at the same time without permission. Totally frustrating! Customer support is useless. Find another app. This one is garbage.

Thanks for the reply Lucy, but I have asked customer service twice and both times you stated to take photo which is irrelevant and cannot capture the problem. Then you ignored me. It is an obvious problem with your system.

I am using two phones, one is iPhone 8, the other is Samsung Note 10, and always found it hard to keep things into sync between the 2 devices. Maybe it is because Apple and Android are nemeses, there are just not many options that allow me to share content from iPhone to Android or the other way around.
This FonePaw DoTrans is just right for the problem. Now I drag my photos, videos from one phone to another easily. I think Apple and Android really should start an application like this and be more open to each other.

SCAM!!! The data recovery software for deleted text msgs does not work. I READ THE WEBSITE AND followed instructions and youtube videos. No deleted text msgs were recovered. This company is a scam. I emailed requesting a callback and no one called me. I emailed numerous times and now requesting a refund via email an "Emily Watson" stated additional software was needed which was not advertised. I read the website advertisement, Android data recovery website and it said 30-day money-back guarantee. It did not say anything about no refunds if it does not work nor additional software will be needed. The website guaranteed it would work easy, prior to purchasing and I made sure I had all the necessary information. This program doesn't work, support is not helpful. I do not recommend.

Although it says it can repair the black screen of death, it鈥檚 useless. The day after I purchased I requested a refund and received the following which made me laugh because it promoted it could fix the black screen…

During the free trial it will reccomend a DeepScan to remover more data. You must purchase the full product to do this. DeepScan only works on a rooted phone! This is not made clear before purchasing! If you don't want to or can root your phinenyou just tossed money away. There refund policy dosen't cover any issues other than duplicate purchases. Find a different company to buy from.

BUYER BEWARE!

FonePaw does not honor their 30-day money back guarantee!

Their deep scan in their data recover service does not work seamlessly and crashes mid-way through recovery. I requested a refund for a technical issue and they have denied the valid request.

FonePaw's customer service is atrocious. I would highly advise seeking out a more trustworthy software provider!

Well, I bought the Screen Recorder for i7- Windows 10.
I read the tutorials on their website and followed the instructions. I used it to record the videos that plays on my PC and it records the voice and pictures so clear.

I purchased FonePaw Backup&Restore with the intention to transfer the complete LINE chat history to my new iPhone including pictures. However, only backup actually works, the restore function is restricted to contacts and notes. This renders the product useless, it is nothing more than iTunes with a price tag, as another reviewer wrote. FonePaw's product pages are not explaining this severe restriction, obviously not as a matter of negligence but rather in fraudulent intent. Of course the company refuses to reimburse the purchase amount.

Boy, had I just come across this review page before! Eventually, I purchased Dr.Fone WhatsApp Transfer, which did exactly what I wanted.

Like many people I bought the wrong product as they don't have a proper product description and of course there is no refund. They are not exactly fast to respond and I had to send an email just to remind them to respond. I had a broken phone screen and was able to connect phone to the FonePaw software. I just needed the right product to transfer files to my laptop, but even after sending the screenshots explaining the situation I get told that maybe I need to have my screen repaired first. If I have my screen repaired, I wouldn't need the software!! I was considering to buy the right product, but because of bad replies and the reviews on here I won't be doing that now.

I would give this product -5 stars. Absolute RIP OFF. I followed all of the prompts and did everything exactly the way the program said-still no success. I inquire to get a refund and they argue with me about what I have done and claim that I can't use specific apps and programs to root my phone, when in fact- their website states this. They didn't advertise that you may have to download additional programs to root your phone. I tried the trial version to retrieve deleted pictures but the trial claimed I couldn't receive pictures until buying the full product.
I picked this software because they claimed they could root your phone with their own software. I am still in the process for trying getting my 68 bucks back. Worst company ever. Worst customer service experience ever. Will never recommend.

I purchased the iPhone Data Recovery this week. I used it to scan my phone, from which my little girl accidentally deleted like 200 photos. This fonepaw program gets three modes for us users to find the lost files, including scan phone directly with no backup or extract files from iTunes/iCloud backup. I HAVE NO BACKUP COPY so I use the first mode to scan. It finally helped to recover most of the lost pics and there was 4 or 5 photos could not be found. They said that those files may be overwritten. Anyway, that's fine and I am totally satisfied with that. The only one thing not good enough is that the order info takes so long to arrive and I鈥檝e waited for like 18 or 19 hours鈥?

Absolute scam. I downloaded their screen recording software to use in a very important, one-off meeting. I started the recording and when I ended the recording, it asked me to pay for the full recording. I was of course frustrated because they did not mention it anywhere before. I had to pay and I did but only to find out that it didn't save the recording. Customer service now says they cannot refund. This is an absolute scam at its best!
