Two years ago, I bought a very nice BBQ set from Fonteyn. For some reasons, the main charcoal support broke and I contacted the company for fixing. I am really happy with their costumer service. Tes van Engelen received my call and email, contacted me back for full updates on the request situation and is now solving the problem. It is unusual to have such a nice post-sales support. Which makes me recommend their service.

At the end great follow up from Customer service Esme, thanks to her and the customer care team all the issues I鈥檝e got were solved. It鈥檚 rare to find a good customer service in the Netherlands and their have one great team

Not happy about their service. I bought garden house there with additional floor. I waited 10 weeks for delivery and only part of order was delivered. Now after 3 months I still didn't receive the second part of my order or money back. After I mailed them many times, situation is still not solved.

Garden house was also not the best quality, thought it was not the cheapest one. Many parts were not correctly cut, so at the end not every part fit to each other. My garden house has 2 doors. One of them are curved what is annoying when you want to close them.

So, if you buy there – pay in last possible moment, only if everything is delivered. I did mistake by paying in advance and now they don't care the order is not completed.
Or better just order in some other place.

Just bought a Combi Sauna to build up in my house. Tristan gave me all good advice and information to convince me to purchase it. Delivery was quick. Building it up myself (2 persons required) was not always easy but it went smoothly. even during the build up I appreciated Tristan responsiveness. Very satisfied.

We ordered a barrel sauna in march. It was delivered and built in april. Unfortunately with the wrong heater but it was replaced in the same week. We enjoy our sauna every weekend since. Great advice from Rico and service.

Great service from Tristan

We bought an infrared sauna earlier this week and Tristan helped us. He gave excellent advise and because we came in late just before closing, he was able to speed up the process for us. Excellent experience and we will come again for more!

Tried to get a Mother鈥檚 day gift ordered and delivered. Despite getting an email confirming my order apparently my order did not go through . So very confused i contacted and emailed the company. No support or solution was being offered . I was told that they did not have my order and that i would be called back . More than a week now and i am still waiting . Very unprofessional.

Excellent service round and round. It started with Jasper consulting and selling us the sauna – we now use it about a year and it was a perfect choice. Last week we had an issue with the door within warranty and this time, it was Tristan who made our day by addressing and fixing the issue immediately, no questions asked.

Well we will certainly come back for the next big investment!

Update 02/2020: after some more calls my situation was resolved (most of it). Also somebody watching trustpilot reviews reached out to me and helped me out. It's good they have such checks. Only I don't write reviews to get customer service. It should come without public complaints.

Poor customer service. Started with the order which was mixed up and delayed. Another delays because they didn't observe in their system I already paid. 3 months later and they still owe me couple of smaller items that I order and paid for. Emails ignores, phone call promised to get back but they didn't. Unless you grab stuff in the store and plan never to come back for customer service I cannot recommend this store.

Very bad.
They sent a broken hot tub and refuse any attempt to communicate and rectify the issue. Either with me or the dealer.
I鈥檓 拢9000 out of pocket with an ugly, broken eye sore in the garden.
I wish I had read the hundreds of genuine reviews on their face book page first, it seems I鈥檓 not the only one they have scammed.

We visited the store many times and found the experience exceptionally poor and even contacted the owner who promised to return our calls but never did, they are exceptionally disorganized, failed 4 times to process an order nor to email us the prices (final costs) we traveled 40km round trip on each visit. also I have now Reported them to Trustpilot they have given themselves many fake five star reviews. If you check them, the profiles have either never given a review before or have given five star reviews multiple times to Fonteyn in diffrent months and all the five star reviews are on the same date FAKE. All good reviews are by new accounts.

Fonteyn are trying to have this review removed since it seems they don鈥檛 like customers reporting the truth about there experiences in there store and online or over the phone

I enjoyed the entire experience at Fonteyn. I had many questions about an expensive bbq that were answered I an excellent way. The staff was very well educated on bbq. In the end Thijs and Bert were very helpful and helped me decide on which bbq was best for me.

We ordered 2 beautiful white peacock chairs for our house. Order and payment was very uncomplicated. We received promptly a friendly email (from Angela J-G if I remember well) asking when it suits us best to receive the delivery. The transporter came in the announced time and took the carton boxes back with him as we asked for it. Super service !
We will surely order very soon other nice items for our house and garden: summer is coming !!!

I bought a lounge-set for almost 3000 euro. The shop is impressive and has an amazing selection.
I first got a seller who was really not interested in helping me: she was bored and yawning; basically she was more annoyed than happy to help me. She had no idea how to navigate their internal computer software. So, I decided to lign up again, to get a different person, She was super friendly, and helpful. I was really excited as she said if anything goes wrong after, they will be available for support for 5 years and give advice also after.
The story continues:
However, they cancelled my delivery date (I had to take a day off work), without (!!) informing me (although I had called them a few days before to confirm details). They said the address was unclear. So I had to take a 2nd day off. As you can imagine I have other things to do with my vacation days than waiting for deliveries that do not come.

Then the screws delivered with the bench were of not great quality and did not work well. I sent photos back to my salesperson and also said that the care products that were supposed to come with the lounge set were missing. We are now 5 emails and various phone calls later (original delivery date was August 7 and we are now in October!) and I still have not received the care products or feedback on my complained of the screws.

By now, the wood has changed color and I hope that without protecting the wood with the care products – it will not cause permanent damage on the lounge set.

I really hope that other experiences are better and that I was just unlucky.

Good service, customer friendly staff!
We came for a consultation to their store. The store is big and if you consider to buy a house it is worth visiting.
Keep in mind that the waiting time might be very long, so first take a place in the line and then go for a tour to see the houses. We waited for 1.5 hours but meanwhile, tea and coffee were served and they had some fruits, snack, and books! 🙂
The house is already in our garden in Utrecht and it is beautiful and sturdy. Kris helped us throughout the montage procedure, kept a professional and customer-friendly image of Fonteyn and solved our problems and doubts right away.

We bought a Barrel sauna and Hydropool hot tub five years ago and after all that time we thoroughly enjoyed the luxury as well as became more health conscious and fit. After all those We must confess that we are not only happy but what an excellent service we got from gervin Hoogendijk of Fonteyn spas. We needed the right part for our sauna and we were struggling to get the right name and make because we had lost the paperwork and it was rubbed away from the product . So nice of gervin who wasted no time in finding out the right part and right make for our sauna. Gervin was so helpful in returning our emails with the right sense of knowledge of the product . We definitely will recommend this company to our family and friends and our huge social media . We also planning to buy all new spa and sauna and garden furniture from Fonteyn spas in near future . Gervin given us the level of service is definitely a sign of a good successful company .
