MY EXPERIENCE WITH FORTRESS HAS BEEN HORRIBLE BY FAR! I HOPE THE OWNER READS THIS SO THAT HE CAN KNOW WHAT KIND OF CUSTOMER SERVICE HIS COMPANY IS PROVIDING. EVERYTHING IS FINE AND DANDY UP UNTIL THE POINT YOU NEED TECH SUPPORT. MY ALARM HAS BEEN GLITCHING LATELY FOR THE PAST WEEK AND A HALF. EVERYTIME I SET MY ALARM FOR THE DAY, I RECEIVE A MOTION 5 DETECTION (WHATEVER THAT MEANS) INSTEAD OF AN ARMED NOTIFICATION. I IMMEDIATLEY START RECEIVING CALLS FROM THE ALARM COMPANY ASKING IF "EVERYTHING IS OKAY?" THEY CONTINUE TO CALL ME EVERY 10 MINUTES OR SO TO TELL ME THEY ARE RECEIVING MOTION 5 ALERTS. I HAVE TO ASK THEM TO IGNORE THE ALERTS FOR THE EVENING JUST SO I DON'T RECEIVE THE FALSE ALARMS. I THEN ASKED THEM TO PLEASE SEND A TECHNICIAN. THEY SAID I WOULD HAVE TO PAY $30 TRIP/WARRANTY/REPLACED EQUIPMENT COST? WTH! REALLY? YESTERDAY THE SAME EXACT THING HAPPENDED AND I ASKED THEM NOT TO CALL ME FOR THIS MOTION ALERT. THEY SAID OK, BUT CALLED FIVE MINUTES LATER AGAIN! THIS TIME TO NOTIFY ME OF GLASS BREAKAGE ALERT! I SAID SEND SOMEONE RIGHT AWAY! I HAD JUST LEFT MY OFFICE ABOUT 15 MINUTES PRIOR. IT DIDN'T MAKE SENSE TO ME. IT WAS STILL DAYLIGHT OUTSIDE. IT TURNED OUT TO BE ANOTHER FALSE ALARM! SO NOW I HAVE TWO MOTIONS SETTING THEMSELVES OFF AND THEY REFUSE TO FIX IT WITHOUT A CHARGE. MARK THE "SALES MANAGER" STATED THAT HE WOULD NOT WAIVE ANY FEES AND THAT I WAS ALREADY GETTING A GOOD RATE. HE WAS VERY RUDE AND IS PART OF THE REASON THAT I'M LOOKING ELSE WHERE FOR SERVICE. MARK, IF THAT IS YOUR JUSTIFICATION FOR CHARGING ME $30 FOR SOMETHING THAT IS CLEARLY WRONG ON YOUR END, YOU SHOULD FIND A CAREER THAT DOESN'T INVOLVE CUSTOMER RELATIONS! THE OTHER REASON, I'M PAYING FOR A SERVICE THAT CONTAINS FAULTY EQUIPMENT OR SOFTWARE ISSUES WHICH IS IN BREACH OF THEIR CONTRACT. I WOULD THINK THAT SMALLER COMPANIES SUCH AS THIS WOULD EXCEL IN CUSTOMER SERVICE SINCE THEY REALLY CAN'T AFFORD TO LOSE ANY! ADT IS SUCH AN AWSOME COMPANY FOR 10 YEARS PRIOR TO THIS WITH NO ISSUES AT ALL. THE ONLY REASON THAT I SWITCHED IS BECAUSE THEY PRICE MATCHED WHAT I WAS ALREADY PAYING AND THEY UPGRADED MY EQUIPMENT WHICH ENDED UP BEING A JOKE!

The follow up was AWESOME. NOT your typical service provider these days! Installed system @ our business then complete walk through and review of what we just received. Loved the personal touch and concern of all involved. All involved w/ Install went above and beyond. Thanks Fortress!

Well I can honestly say Fortess went over and above what they should have and even came back the next day to change something. Excellent service and I would recommend to anyone!

This is the absolute worst company to use!! We unfortunately had to use this company for our "smart home" features when we built. They came out, set it up and left didnt show us how to do anything, we hooked up att shortly after, the ethernet cable had to plug in the back of the wifi thing from att and now nothing works!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have called multiple times, spoken to multiple people i even called our builder, NOBODY will help us because it VOIDED warranty once somone else touched the wires. So if you have kids and they unplug it, your screwed. They wont even provide support over the phone they want labor of $95 an hour!!!!!! This company is a joke!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fortress Security has been very responsive to our needs and helped us address weaknesses in our system without overselling components we didn't need. The TotalConnect2 system is a very nice interface for keeping track of the system. The loss-of-power notification was of use to us in the second week.

Customer Service Rep Robert did a great job explaining the differences between their equipment and the competitors. They worked with me on the budget, that I had, to drive down the cost but still have great home security. So far I am very happy and pleased with all Fortress representatives. The technician Greg, was super prompt, they worked around my busy work schedule and were able to install all necessary equipment timely.

From the time I first called and talked to Robert, everything happened just as we had discussed. The entire process was explained in detail and it happened. Greg, the installer, was knowledgeable and was able to answer all our questions. We are happy to be new customers.

Have only had the service for a short time but so far so good. The rep came to the house on time and showed our family how to use the equipment. Its easy to use and gives us a piece of mind.

I contacted Fortress to install their system in my home that had a system that the prior owner had installed. I told them what I was looking for and they provided me with a quote over the phone which was exactly what I paid after it was installed. The ease of working with Fortress was a great experience, unlike another security company who couldn't provide a quote over the phone and had wanted to come out to evaluate the job.

First alarm company I've ever had that followed up to make sure the install went well and they even called the day after I set it off in accident to see if we needed anything adjusted and then they adjusted the delay timing on one door over the web to give me a few seconds next time I forget to turn it off.

I will never use anyone else!!! I used to work for a builder and Fortress was our security "trade" of choice!!! I see why now. I have dealt with them on a personal level multiple times and they take care of me!! My security is their first priority. Our technician was so professional and the ladies managing my account know what they are doing and how to make a customer happy!!! Thank you Fortress for taking care of my family!!!

I was pleased with the level of service we received from Fortress. The sales force and service installation technicians, who installed our security system were professional in their work ethic along with simple setup training for startup of the system. I would recommend them for your security system needs.
