Foxtel have just changed the channel numbers. What a waste of time, no logic to the new format having gotten use to the old format. Same repeat channels in a new format.

This is an overpriced service with limited content.
This week is my second attempt at trying to cancel this service鈥?
After my first attempt of what I assumed was a successful cancelation as the site did displayed a cancellation received notice鈥?. I continued to get billed?
I tried contacting the provider to ensure my now second attempt at cancellation of the service had been successful
I could only contact the provider via 鈥淟ive Chat鈥?You can鈥檛 email them and get a confirmation response
The chat was unhelpful and the providers chat operator would not provide an email confirmation of my second cancellation.
This service doesn鈥檛 even deserve the one star rating I gave it鈥︹€?

Closed my account (after many yrs of subscribing – fool that I am) when it finally dawned that it's a very substandard, expensive, service where my custom has never been valued. But now, having returned their sea anchor IQ box, have a account credit of $34.77 .. which is proving totally impossible to get refunded no matter what they agree to by a TEXT customer interface !!!

Customer service is the worst. They lied to me and said I had to get foxtel to get nbn to which I found out was a lie and that they hadn't even signed me up for nbn at all. I didn't pass the credit check so I don't know how I ended up with a account in the first place. I called up to request my account be canceled and nobody contacted me until after the first month of billing to which I got told I will have to pay my bill first. My nbn took a month and a half until someone actually added nbn to my account. I am trying currently to stop my account to which they tell me I would be charge 400 to close account. I will not recommend foxtel to anybody

useless voice automated phone option. staff assistance useless. can't speak to anyone without foxtel autobooting our foxtel boxes. worst customer service ever experienced.

Absolultley pathetic customer service via Telstra rang to query why as a premeium customer I am not getting all chanels waited on the phone for 1 hour 10 minutes on hold and gave up in disgust.

Foxlel are outsourceing roles and retrenching staff who actually know what they are doing.

do not even consider this company.

Have been with Foxtel for years & love sports ,had to work during the horn v tszyu fight so paid $60 on top of subscription to see the fight so recorded it ,had to work again next day … apparently you only get 24 hrs to watch it …so missed it ,found it very disappointing ,in the age of digital surely they could see it wasn't watched & could let you see it just the one time but no the owners newscorp & Telstra really need the money…sorry just had to rant all this out ..a hard working blue collar supporting the multi nationals馃様

Cancelled foxtel and still kept charging me for another 2 months has to contact my bank to stop them taking money out sent the box back to them the way they instructed me to and now there saying they never received it and I have to pay for it not good enough FOXTEL would never use them again and will never recommend to any one to use they just rip you off with there over priced subscription and there lack of customer service

Absolutely hate cmt. Hardly any top releases from USA country. I love australian but what happened to the spotlight on artists. Variety is the key, way to many repeats and old video clips.

New music channels are absolute garbage. Why try and fix something that wasn't broke.
Foxtel is overloaded with ads and repeats. Once FTA starts regular live Supercars I'm out. They retrench good commentators and keep the older commentators like Alexander. CHANGE THE GUARD FOXTEL.
TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY.

Every channels is just rubbish, no more Smooth, please how many times do I have to listen to Andre Rieu, CMT is nothing compared to CMC. Dramas, comedies every channel is repetitive archived repeats over and over again. FOXTEL you charge premium rates for cheap offerings, time to leave you.

My Foxtel is managed through Telstra. One of my Foxtel boxes is faulty and I cannot record on it. It is located in my bedroom and is so noisy that I must switch it off to go to sleep.
I want to upgrade to IQ4.
I cannot get a response on the phone complaints line. I spent 40 minutes using the Telstra chat service and was told that they would get back in 1 hour. no return contact.
I cannot use the Telstra My Account service as it is out of action.
The Telstra Retail shops do not handle Foxtel.

The customer service is non existent! There are no protocols or any standard since they outsourced their customer service. It was like they handed it over to another company to smudge its reputation and ruin the business into the ground.
No one can help me! Every year I need to get renewed, the price goes up, there is no notification and when you try to talk to someone you get hung up on, passed around or told rubbish. Foxtel you should be ashamed of yourself in how customers are treated which is resulting in high disconnections! It鈥檚 not Netflix or Stan taking over…. its your lack of care to even deal with a paying customer. They get away with this behaviour as Consumer affairs won鈥檛 get Involved or the telecommunications ombudsman so your pretty much stuffed if you have an issue with them.

Easy to sign up but make it almost impossible to leave even when you are out of contract. Worst customer service I鈥檝e had in many years. Have tried so many times to cancel and even after I鈥檝e finally got through to someone, who said it鈥檒l be done, no more communication since then and I鈥檓 still paying. It has to be illegal how they do this.

The Foxtel Customer Advocacy Team are fantastic. They stepped in and took control of my issue for which I posted a negative review on 21 May 2020.The Customer Advocacy Representative Irena was outstanding. Understood my complaint straight away and more than addressed it. Could not be happier. The Customer Advocacy Team changed my jaded view of Foxtel!

Poor customer service, phone operators trained to up-sell only, never of any meaningful assistance in my case. Product is quickly becomming outdated and has been over-priced for a long time.

Absolutely horrible, don鈥檛 join Foxtel!!! Departments don鈥檛 communicate with each other and it鈥檚 almost exhaustingly difficult to cancel. Called many times and said we were disconnected but we were never disconnected. Customer service agents have shocking bad customer service and don鈥檛 try at all to listen to customer requests. Will never join ever again!!!

Having had this service for my father for 15+years I am appalled at the lack of customer service during the COVID period and also cancellation of the subscription in terms of having to pay an 'extra' month to cancel.

Overall offers great value for money. However Sky News /Bolt. Credlin and the rest of Rupert's performing seals. are predictable as time. The news/discussion is so incredibly biased to the right that it is a wonder they can keep a straight face. Shameful

All I want to do is subscribe and pay them money but they won鈥檛 reply/respond to my application and they don鈥檛 take phone calls for new subscribers, no wonder they get bad reviews, I can鈥檛 even give them my money and, based on what I鈥檓 reading here, I don鈥檛 think I want to now.

I made a trial for Foxtel Now and it gave me until 11.59pm on a certain date to end it. I decided that it was too expensive and ended the trial that morning yet I was charged $25 that night. I attempted five times to contact someone and yet I was only given the option of SMS with automated messages. When I came into contact with an actual person they could not understand what I was trying to say and continued to tell me that I hadn鈥檛 cancelled my subscription when I had. Very disappointed.
