Ordered a perfume on the 2nd June (in-stock on website) for a birthday gift. Because of Covid delays I purchased this 17 days prior to ensure enough time for delivery.

On the 16th June – 2 whole weeks after ordering – I鈥檓 sent an email (this is a direct copy and paste to illustrate how confusing and ridiculous) stating the below:

鈥淯nfortunately, we ran out of stock in the Mr. Burberry Coffret: Eau De Toilette Spray. However, we do have the same item available in a slightly higher price range. please find that we have created a gift voucher for $166 so that you can purchase the item here. If you would prefer a refund please do not hesitate to let us know.鈥?br />

I responded complaining 1) about the two week delay in telling me, despite item being in stock on the website and the order being 鈥渟ent鈥?2) the utter ridiculousness of actually having the item in stock, yet asking me to purchase at a higher price through them.

I declined the purchase through their website and agreed on the refund that was offered. Due to the timeframe, I now had two days to attempt to get a gift delivered in time for the birthday so I pursued other options.

Without contacting me again, the customer agent, Jyoti, emails me a day after I agreed to the refund apologising for the confusion and saying they鈥檇 now sent the perfume at no additional cost to me. I said, well that鈥檚 not what I agreed – I鈥檝e opted for the refund.

Naturally, it鈥檚 been two weeks and no refund. All contact has ceased. Their customer service agent, Jyoti, has gone completely quiet, multiple emails unanswered, no refund provided, no contact or response whatsoever from the FreshFragrance team and no attempt to honour the Consumer Guarantees Act nor their legal obligations.

Highly unethical, unprofessional and unreliable. Do not purchase from here.
