Frias Properties Of Aspen

This is a hidden gem of a hotel!! We absolutely loved our stay!! The location cannot be beat and the room was very clean. We will definitely be back!

We had a perfect experience with the Frias Properties. I would definitely use them in the future.

Our original reservation was apparently under construction and Frias had no idea what the status was. About an hour before we were to go to the unit (this was about 11 AM as they gave us an early check in), I received an email saying it was still being worked on and then they gave us a choice of 4 other available units. Luckily there was 4 in our group and we could get away with a 2 bedroom (original reservation was for a 3 bed). The pics of thew new place were outdated on the website and did not reflect the current state of the rental (note: the unit was actually much better than pics led us to believe). When we arrived, we did not have our welcome packet ready for us, so I had to call into to the office to get it. This was pretty frustrating as I had already called numerous time about getting the check in information for our new rental. BUT, we received $100 off the cost of the rental and a $50 gift card to use at dinner. So, it wasn't all that bad. would have just been nice if things ran a little smoother and the staff was more aware of what was happening with their rentals. The unit was really great and the pool was awesome, though.

Frias was amazing. From reservation to communication before arrival and daily room service throughout the stay. We would definitely stay with them again!

The location of this hotel was prefect, in the middle of everything and across the street from the best coffee shop/bakery. The staff was helpful and sweet during check in. The only downside to our stay is I don't think the hot tub is properly maintained. 2 days after leaving the property, we discovered bumps all over our bodies where our swim suits cover, and turns out we got hot tub folliculitis. This was the only negative to our stay, but the room was clean and well maintained.

Our room was dirty, the small refrigerator was filled with the previous guests food/garbage, there was a black moldy drip on the bathroom door and the room was filled with cat dander. My fianc茅 and I are both highly allergic to cats and both had allergic reactions that kept us up most of the night. There was no mention anywhere that the room was pet friendly. This was exceptionally disappointing. As a result, we got absolutely no sleep and checked out before 7am. Further, the website makes no mention of the continental breakfast being cancelled. I understand that COVID has created a number of exceptions but this was not communicated before check in. When I questioned the breakfast I was told that 鈥渨e were forced by the state to suspend that service and have adjusted the price of the room accordingly.鈥?

I would not recommend staying here and will be reaching to management to discuss.

We had a little miscommunication with the key that turned out to be a key pad instead. The woman at the Frias Properties did try to reach me by phone and email and even went out of her way to leave me her personal cell phone number so that we were sure to get in. We also had a miscommunication with the parking in town… due to COVID, parking was free when we went but not everyone knew the details on the parking. The Fries employees were more than happy to help us and were very kind.

We loved our stay at Independence Square Hotel in Aspen. The location was perfect, right in the historic area of downtown with a view of the slopes from the rooftop deck. Wonderful, comfortable room for 1/2 the price of the other hotels nearby. The reception staff made us feel so special for our Anniversary and even brought us breakfast burritos in the morning.

The woman at the check-in desk was very nice. But the hotel? Had to park a half mile away, no bellman, just not a good hotel.

Very nice place to stay and the lady at the reception was very nice. Only reason didn鈥檛 got a 5 star review is because the room didn鈥檛 had an iron or ironing board and no vending machine Incase you need to grab a soda or water at night.
Over all, very good experience. I will stay there again.

It is a nice hotel in the middle of town. The front desk person was nice. breakfast is simple and filling.

However when I checked in and got to my room there was a funky, 'lived in smell' about the room. When I looked around there were damp used towels on the floor and some very stinky garbage in the can by the door. In the refrigerator, there was a long black hair. (not mine I am bald). The bed though made did not appear to have fresh sheets on it. It was a long night on top of the covers.

Great Location and nice people

Our Frias experience was great! The check-in and concierge were helpful in getting us set up. The Alpenblick unit was great, just as advertised with everything we needed. The complimentary airport shuttle was a nice unexpected perk too.

Property was nice. Parking with an extra vehicle on the street was difficult.

Always a comfortable place for our annual "boys" winter vacation!

The folks at Frias have been amazing. So helpful and kind– suggesting services I didn't even know we could get. Always available for help. I would highly recommend them to anyone coming out to Aspen. Laura

Excellent location, clean, comfortable, large. Great value. Handy in-town shuttle.

Great location near Aspen ski lifts, shuttles to other mountains and shops and restaurants. The condo was nice, clean and check in was easy. The bedroom thermostat was broken, however, and it was too warm for good sleeping

Loved the Fasching Haus #6 and the whole Frias experience. Hope to return same time and to same unit again next year!!

Newly renovated w/ washer and dryer. Daily maid service and a great hot tub and pool.

We had a fantastic stay at The Gant. Frias was incredibly flexible and easy to book with and kind enough to handle all of our airport transportation. Felt like a VIP arriving and departing Aspen!

The entire process was smooth, well communicated and I look forward to coming back again next winter for a longer stay.

Great service. Condo could use a little TLC but everything was in good working order and any issues were addressed right away.
