Disgusting WARNING. Drunk and on drugs. Didn't want to do job. I Complained and when they got to work on Monday said l had a cat poo on my carpets and I refused to clean it. I don't have a cat and I didn't have carpets. I hadn't moved in yet. This was investigated and I was proved right. I contacted owner JOHNNY DRUMMOND he takes this very seriously. I can't get him now. They can't put you through when you phone. They can't answer emails. People beware they treat you worse than dogs. It's a family business and they do what they want. This is the worst company of what I have seen!
Very bed customers service.
I ordered my item a month ago and have not received till now. does not respond to call, does not respond to e-mail letters and ignores on live chat! Don't waist your money and nerves whit this company!

Placed an order with this company on the14 nov which I have not received I have had to do all the contacting several times was told courier company would be in touch never did then when I contacted them yet again was told they were in process of changing courier company that was beginning of dec since then have heard nothing no replys to emails they are not answering phone I have contacted citizens advice for help who have passed this onto trading standards if I had read this review site first would never have ordered from this company order no is FH22817

I ordered a TV unit 2 months ago which was in stock and would be 2-3 weeks, then it wasn't gonna arrive until 15th December, now it's 18th dec and iv demanded a refund they don't answer emails they website chat is never available and the phone just goes straight to answer machine. DO NOT USE THEM If I don't receive my refund within a week I'm going open a claim with my solicitor

We ordered a table in August which their website said was in stock. As soon as they accepted the order i had an email to say it would be two to three weeks. Three weeks later I was informed it would be another month and then another month so I cancelled and requested a refund. They said this would have to be by cheque as they don't keep customers' bank details. Three phone calls and four emails later this has still not been received. I have also sent a letter by registered mail to which they have not responded.

We have just received our Recorded Delivery letters back today with the word 'Refused' written on them. They had refused to sign for them. These letters were sent on the advise of Citizens Advice.

Do not order from this company.

I ordered bunk beds on the 18th September, they took my money then emailed me to say they were not in stock, I have emailed them back twice and phoned them numerous times and no one is answering me. I have now put in a dispute with my bank to try and get my money back. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY

So after my third call to this company I am ready to write my review.

I ordered a new make to order dressing table for my wife to be in place when she got home from hospital with our new baby.

The order was placed on 22nd August. It's now the 30th September and I still don't have it. Apparently it has yet to even be made! No-one at Furnishing Homes seems to have any idea when the item will be ready and the communication with the supplier seems non existent.

It is the responsibility of the business, who have held my money for the past 6 weeks, to get detailed information from the supplier as to when my order will be ready.

Don't order from this site. Absolutely furious!

Now adding this edit after 12 weeks of waiting, and 3 weeks of refund requests. No joy. I have had to launch a dispute via my bank to retrieve my money via official channels as every promise of a refund has failed to appear.

There are other companies offering the same furniture and better service which are also google protected purchases.

Very bad, overall.

Friendly customer support, but unreliable service – we ordered a piece of furniture, after confirming it was in stock, only to be told by the delivery company that they had nothing to pick up…waste of time

Live chat assistant was very helpful and after the purchase the furniture was delivered exactly on time. Well pleased .It looks great.

Delivered as promised on the day we wanted.
Super service from the customer telephone team and the delivery people.
Would highly recommend.
