I put about 150 hours put into Fallen Earth before I got fed up with MoneyFirst's microtransaction based system. Sure, you can grind to the top, but overall, all they want is your money. This company deserves more attention for how bad it is. I'm going to dare say it's worse than activision and EA.

Giving them 2 stars because I have hope for the future. APB in a bad state at the moment, but looking forward to some change. Customer service was very helpful, helping me recovering an account.

Terrible company only looking to drain as much money from their players as they can with a notorious nickname like MoneyFirst.

Similar to Ubisoft but on a smaller scale.

I have never seen a company manage games so poorly.
With the previous owner of APB: Reloaded, the game always had thousands of players online, and the game had constant improvements.
With "GamersFirst" (very misleading name also) the game has seen no improvements, it has devolved in any way worth mentioning.
The graphics have gotten worse.
The servers have gotten worse.
Customer service is dismissive, and often outright rude.
Their "anti-cheat" software does nothing useful, people max out their characters while blatantly cheating.
The player base is more often than not, completely toxic, rude, and abusive. People can behave in ways here, that would get them banned in other games.
They promised an engine upgrade, no new content until engine upgrade.
That was supposed to be 4 years ago.
New games of higher quality have been made from scratch in that time.

They don't even deserve a thought out review.

"1 star: Bad 鈥?unacceptable experience, unreasonable and rude conduct" All three of those are 100% accurate for this company.

The only reason their company is around is they bought out a game, Apb – 'All Points Bulletin' that unique and addicting… but they are trying their damnedest to run it into the ground. They have way too much pride in their 'FairFight' system, probably because they made it but it is trash. The serverside 'cheat detection' not only lets the most blatant cheaters continue remain uncaught, but it lets completely innocent people, who have played since the beginning, be permanently banned (accounts with thousands of real dollars spent in their in-game 'store') and treat them like garbage refusing to work with them about the ban or provide an explanation.

Apb has ceased all development; they claim they have 20 staff left but from what it seems that is an exaggerated number. Everything they promised development wise has seemed to been indefinitely postponed, they promised an engine update in Q1 of 2014…. that is inexcusable as a competent company to continue promising something for 4 entire years and no actual proof that it is ever going to happen has been provided.

1 Bad cheat detection; 2. Completely unacceptable mistreatment of it's loyal fanbase. 3. No development of their game, no communication, nothing. How this company is still around baffles me.

I really used to enjoy this game, it has its faults, many faults, but the character creation was second to none and I really enjoyed the cops and robber aspect of the simple point to point mission objectives. I played for hours putting my hard earned cash and time into this game. I kept a positive attitude when most players around me were toxic as hell. I tried to make a difference by running a clan, I sought out the friendly players from the toxic masses. I promoted and streamed the game. Hell, at one point I even defended Gamersfirst staff for the hard work they do in dealing with such a feral community. I was blinded for my love of the game and have since been harshly woken up from my rose tinted daydreams.

Gamersfirst are crooks. Maybe not quite thieves but definitely crooks. Their company is a vampire, which exploits people's loyalty to the game to suck as much money from their wallets as possible. Countless promises and years of waiting for the fabled engine update which would miraculously fix all of the issues with the games and bring all of its previous player base back to the game. The carrot on the stick which still has yet to be delivered. Yet there are plenty of loot boxes to be had, every month on the dot, another gambling mechanic to draw yet more money from its player base.

I previously praised the customisation as being second to none this is of course if you are willing to spend some money on the game. You are incredibly limited to how much detail you can put in while customising unless you pay for a monthly subscription. But that's just to be able to design your clothing to a level that would make you look truly unique and not like your everyday free to play player. Even purchasing basic cosmetics to make your character look better than anything you could come up with in free clothing will cost you the price of a new game on steam.

Weapons that you buy with in game currency expire after so many hours of gameplay meaning unless you pay $60, per weapon, for a permanent version you will be constantly grinding for cash just to be able to supply yourself with weapons before you can even think about upgrading your vehicle or buying new clothing.

Not only this but there are weapons that can only be bought for real world currency that are better than what you can acquire for free. Often bundled in bigger more expensive packs of items with no other way of acquiring just the weapons. There are many weapons with balancing issues but what is worse is that new weapons are initially released in a state that makes them overpowered and then they are later "rebalanced" to make them hard to use or worthless after the next new weapon is released.

Cheating is rife in the game and gameplay is constantly interrupted by players that are cheating and that are intentionally trying to ruin the game for others. The automated anti-cheat is ineffective and inadequate in dealing with the problem, players that are banned return under a new account within minutes and players that have been playing the game for years and who have spent countless funds on the game have been known to be banned without reason or rhyme.

As the game's population has been dwindling for some time now it has become increasingly harder for players to find games due to the matchmaking not being able to adequately match players up for games. The skill gap is incredibly large. You will sometimes be paired with new players that have just started the game or be thrown in with players that have clocked up thousands of hours on the game. This can make for very uneven, unfair matches which at the end of the day are just not fun and will make you feel like you are being punished to the point where you won't want to play anymore and will need to step away.

The grind is VERY real. To buy legendary weapons, new vehicles, weapon modifications, equipment upgrades or high quality kill themes and clothing you need a LOT of in game money. This means playing hours and hours of matches that are often unevenly team balanced, have cheaters in them or where players disconnect from your team leaving you to suffer an inevitable defeat.

Furthermore the developers seem to just be in it for themselves, they do not communicate with their community and promise the earth yet they never deliver or what they do deliver is either broken as hell or a cash grab. Support will not provide support in most cases unless it's a sales issue where the company will profit. Free to play users can be ignored by support for weeks as priority is given to players that have spent money on the game.

There has been many shady occurrences where Gamersfirst staff have offered to unban accounts that have been suspiciously banned without reason for a onetime payment. The amount of which also exceeds the amount of a full price title.

Billions of dollars have gone into making this game what it is today and it still feels unfinished and buggy. You can also be damn sure that the money that is spent on the game isn't going into making the servers any more stable. Servers can feel very laggy at times and this can affect your shots connecting with other players which can cost you the match. Ultimately it just feels frustrating when your shot connects with its target on your screen but on your opponents screen they didn't even see you fire and have already killed you.

The game is incredibly un-optimised. It has memory leaks and problems with the client's core coding. It requires a very high end PCs to even be able to keep a stable 30FPS even then you may encounter issues. Without playing the game on high settings everything becomes very washed out and bland and all player customisation is more or less lost. I have seen players ask on the community forums often about how to upgrade their computer to be able to play APB without issues. I would NOT recommend upgrading your PC to play this game. Upgrade it to play other, more complete and better games made by companies that don't just want what is in your wallet. There are developers out there that deserve your cash and that actually care about those playing their games.

This is coming from someone who has been playing the game for 6 years, 2000 hours and who has spent over the same figure on in-game cosmetics, vehicles and weapons. Take your money elsewhere. This game will never get any better. Spend your hard earned money on a game that will be ultimately worth your time, money and respect. Do not give it to these crooks. They prey on players with addictive personalities and they do not respect you, they just want what is in your wallet and they won't stop until they have taken every penny.

Starting on APB (their most successful game):
Pay real cash for overpowered weapons and defeat everyone;
Pay real cash for one kit for each car (there are 2-3 kits per car in 10-12 cars);
Pay real cash to get bonus money and contact progress ("xp");
Pay real cash to get parts of clothes for outfits;
Pay real cash for added vehicle customization;
Pay real cash for added character customization;
Pay real cash for every single new content they release;
Pay real cash for a buggy, poorly-optimized, poorly updated game with mediocre content and no support.
Pros: APB has a surprisingly deep story and complex background; cons: it was made by RTS, NOT GAMERSFIRST.

This was just ONE game, don't get me started on Fallen Earth.

APB Reloaded is obviously a cash grab game from another fly by night publisher following the philosophy of dump your crap game on the public, but lets hope they pay our bills with with our cash grab store. The game is complete junk and all the excuses as to why nothing has been done to improve it are just that, "Oh we're gonna put it on a new engine" Right that's why it's on crap from 7 years ago still. As long as gamers keep giving publishers and games like this the time of day. THIS IS WHAT WE GET.

Gamersfirst doesn't take good care of their games, and even less care about their players… so the name is kinda ironic.

To be more specific without writing a wall of text:

They implemented an anticheat system which had flaws from the beginning, and did not take care of the flaws, neither took care of people trying to solve the problem through support.
Some more "valuable" players (like streamers for example) get special treatment when contacting support (or even more personal contact mails for G1 staff). There have been unbans on only a few "special" people, but other "non-valuable" players don't get anything from support.

also, the anticheat doesn't only have flaws and falsebans, but it doesn't even detect obvious cheaters properly (example: a very obvious, aimlocking and wallhacking cheater plays for atleast 6 month now)

Other things:

Bad communication with the community. No transparency, even though they promised to be more talkactive towards the community on so many points.

roadmaps have never been accomplished (alot of saying but not doing anything) and the "engine update" has taken way too many years now and has been postponed alot of times.

Poor server quality. Alot of lags and server crashes + long maintenance. (especially since they merged servers for APB, there has been very strong lagspikes every few minutes which take up to 1-5min. which hasn't been fixed in like 3 years now – horrible)

New console version for APB runs bad (FPS) and is very unfinished (especially the lighting system)

Forum management is horrible too… there is alot of censoring going on, and literally no way to raise your voice to bring awareness to issues like (for example) the anticheat problem. (threads getting deleted and people getting banned for talking about this)

and currently, there have been alot of people banned at the same time for "chargeback" (buying steam keys for packs from third party sites) and these people are "given the chance" to pay 40$ to get unbanned, which seems very sketchy… it's either a really rude and illegal way of G1 to force people if they want their accounts back, or someone once bought alot of keys from steam, sold them on third party sites and now charged back all the keys to make alot of money… but this is not how G1 should handle this issue… they should investigate the person that charged back the money because what he is doing is illegal. But instead of doing that, G1 just doesn't care enough and (as always) makes the players pay – for a crime someone else did, great job!

there is so much more game related stuff I could go into like balancing issues and bugs which are not getting fixed for example, but it would be way too much and I didn't really want to write a wall of text, so I'll just say this: it's bad.

Had about enough. Just removed the game "APB" from my ps4. Unfortunately this is a great, not necessarily original, idea for a game that has failed in its development. At first glance, everyone loves the game. It has all the tools to win. However, after a few days of feeling like a duck in a shooting gallery, one has to wonder, "Is fleeing from players because you have nothing to defend yourself with, part of the games design?"
I personally only played the game as a criminal and I never heard sooo many players complain about a game like that in my life. It seems as if it were part of the game play. Imagine spending hours leveling up to gain access to a weapon that when used by your enemy, can take you out w one shot but when you use the same weapon you fail miserably. Again and again and again. Incredible. The only reason I give the game one star was because it made me better a battlefront.

The game is out of sync so bullets only work during off peak hours.

Frame rate stutters so you spend alot of time shooting at pictures.

Weapons are identical for both sides in appearance but not stats or performance.

Lag

Drops/crashes

I tried to post bugs on forums and was meet by enforcers who exclaimed, " Were not cheating, you suck" whenever I mentioned lag or framerate issues.

Impossible to host a deathmatch when you give premium pay players the advantage.

This was more dissapointing than no multiplayer in no mans sky and star citizen not having inhabitable planets put together.

Gamefirst puts games last from what I see.

I played APB for quite a while, around 600 hours, and even then I was there back in the Realtime World times and had fun. I spent quite a lot of money on this game and I don't see where the money we give them goes at all, probably just gambling in Las Vegas, huh? All GamersFirst does is create reskins of weapons, same stats and so on and not even upgrading their servers. Developers can do something about toxicity and the cheaters in Games but these guys just do not do that. APB even has a forum, with the worst possible Moderators. Developers and Owners can literally do ANYTHING to their game to make it better. If these guys want to show that they want to be good owners, make things right and actually make more money than they're doing right now. They have to upgrade their servers, replace the moderators with better ones, spend their money for the Company and their games and actually make weapons, not reskins. This is the worst if not the least worst Company I've ever seen. Don't make a game horrible by being lazy, you signed up to do a job, working on games, then do it, and do it right, and actually listen to us. Don't go to Las Vegas, seriously don't, we need you, we love the game but we can't love it enough because of all the cons about it, you have 76% 1-Star reviews, that means you have to do something about your games. We're worried the game gets shut down and we don't want that to happen.

My experience is with their game called All Points Bulletin: Reloaded. Been a player since 2010 (RTW times). Rejoined the game in 2011 under GamersFirst. Played ever since. Had 500 hours of gametime on Steam. Took a year break, played GTA Online, then came back. Then, came their newest anti-cheat engine (FairFight) and I got banned (Xspy70 (Citadel) | R108 | Male | Enforcer | 2016-11-06 01:05). They admitted that they came across false-bans due to this new transition (since the anti-cheat has to be custom-fitted into the game), and unbanned some people, but not me. Contacted customer support – requested my case to be reviewed. Even sent them some screenshots of what could've caused the ban (I had 13 trojans detected by AVAST on the day I got banned, of which I still have detailed screenshots). Denied. Created a second account after getting rid of the trojans, didn't get banned on it, told support about the trojans causing the ban trigger. Denied again. You can't apply for an active conversation over the web or the phone either, as they don't have a call center. This is the message they give repeatedly:

"Thank you for contacting Gamers First Customer Support. We regret to inform you that your account has been permanently suspended.

Someone with access to this account was detected for cheating by FairFight. This account has been permanently closed due to behavior contrary to the policies of our Terms of Service. This account will not be unblocked and all current/future tickets will be closed with no further action taken.

The GamersFirst support team is committed to preserving the integrity and fairness of the game for all players.

Regards,"

So yeah. 5 years (6) of being a loyal player and customer (having purchased their G1C currency), and all I get is the bird and the boot. I still don't understand how 5 years of membership would suddenly make me want to throw all my progress and gametime away by suddenly hacking and cheating. But apparently – it all makes perfect sense to them, and they don't even want to bother thinking about reviewing the backgrounds of both me and their new, initially flawed anti-cheat system, nor take a deep look at my case and evidence. If in their eyes – someone like me doesn't deserve a proper trial, then you can guess how highly they respect and value their entire (drying up) playerbase.

To note – I've been waiting since the beginning for them to add big changes, and to finally upgrade the game's engine to the newer version of Unreal engine. It never happened through these 5 years (though it's happening slowly now, with little progress, far beyond their promised deadlines). The point of the transition was mostly to improve the game's performance, which was awful at the time. However – it took them so long to be somewhere even remarkably near finishing the new engine transition that it no longer serves that purpose. By the time – the general computer performance standards have increased to the extent that most people can play the game on the old engine without many problems. And the new engine version of the game is really buggy and raw. It tells quite a lot about the devs behind the game. I may not know the internal struggles of the dev team, but all I know is that I am a customer who waited for 5 years for the game to improve, only to get permanently banned from it without a chance to appeal.

So yeah. Rated it 1 star. Prove me wrong. If anyone wants to contact me for information or proof to my case, add me on Steam (Xspy70) or contact me through email.

There's a few things this company could probably improve, i.e servers and cheating, but generally the experience has been great with them. Had an issue and they responded the same day, constant admin response by that thinking.

Games great but has a lot of issues, but they're working on it I bet!

Trusted to make purchases, truthful honest company.

Played up to 45hrs of this game and only started it a couple of weeks ago. Really really fun game, but there's next to no development on it as far as I've researched (bar a few reskinned weapons).

No balancing in-game (for something that is 6 years old, this is ridiculous), overpowered/underpowered weapons, a lot of hackers and unfriendly to new players.

Needs to be balanced, worked upon and improved. The company just seem to be in it for the money, rather than the game itself.

If players see that they're trying, and the game becomes balanced, the community will grow. Many people avoid this game sheerly because it's massively unbalanced and unfair.

Check the games steam reviews developers.
Hire proper admins, instead of prepubescent teens as it appears.
Make the game fair and fun.

Just won a mission by out-pointing the opposition in overtime … which did not register, allowing the opposition to re-cap and win.

There is literally no way to win as this is literally not a game. It is an incomplete piece of code marketed to scam money out of unsuspecting users. DO NOT GIVE A DIME. DO NOT GIVE YOUR TIME. GAME DOES NOT WORK.

The company has recently laid off multiple employees and closed its UK office.

Nothing remotely close to a working game. Even after six emabarrassing years. Backsteps, bugs, and BS abound for an irresponsible and directionless company that has spent years floundering a game with a dedicated fanbase who wish nothing more than the sale of the IP to a more successful publisher.

Server performance is completely unplayable and despite endless pleas the company will not even address the problem. The best vets and streamers have all quit due to admitted frustration with the untenable BS.

Be prepared to get teabagged as every one of your shots fails register.
