Have just seen this bunch of scammers on Watchdog they park cars on the side of roads one guy had his car stolen and they weren't covered,others had hundreds of miles extra on the clock when they were returned.One car featured on Watchdog was parked in a public carpark next to some boarded up disused public toilets..

I left my car with Gold Parking and when I retuned for it it had been stolen – I asked Riz what was he going to do about it and he said his mate had an elderly elephant I could use until I bought myself a new car. I asked was he insured for theft of cars and he replied – and I quote: "nah matey – you takes ya chances when ya comes here – if ya don't want ya car trashed, don't come here matey – now gimme some money and run along matey – learn your lesson!! Who do you thinks we are? NCP Carparks? Well we aint – we is cowboys and we gets here in the back of a lorry when you weren't lookings = gets me Chalko?? – gets me?" Not believing my ears I gave him 拢50 and ran along,s but forgot to ask when and where the elephant would be available, as I needed transport now theyed lost my car. His brother NotWhite replied "Goes to Bombay, White Bloke , and stop hassling us or ill call the freemasons, and youll wish I hadn't!!! See ya White Bloke!! Sorry 'bout ya motor [we flogged it actually but don't tell noone] Cheers!! Be lucky!! and go away"…and with that, I went home, wondering how I could get to Bombay….luv Chalky

As featured on BBC Watchdog. Not only are they liars but go through the 5 star reviews on here and look at what other reviews they have left. One of them has four reviews, all for this same company under the different guises they use. Trustpilot should be investigating the level and profiles of fake reviews left for this obviously dodgy company. The fact they still have an acceptable rating shows how many fake reviews have been left.

They have no secure compound. They park in nearby public streets, often main roads. They take no responsibility for any damage done to the vehicle.

I had been looking for parking at the airport but fortunately managed to catch Watchdog on BBC which exposed this company as leaving vehicles in nearby streets with no security at all. Also there was an example of a guy who had his Mercedes stolen, supposedly from a "secure" car park who was then told that the company would not assist or cover any costs…..save your money and go elsewhere.

This company has been exposed by THE BBC WATCHDOG programme as a rogue trader. Does NOT USE SECURE CAR PARK. It does not cover any damage or theft.

Fake 5 star reviews and please avoid at any cost if you want to your car back.

These guys were exposed by BBC1's Watchdog this week and ended up in their Rogues Gallery. They take your car saying they keep it safe in a `secure compound'. Hidden cameras and satellite tracking revealed that they park customers' cars in public car parks and streets, not secure at all. They give no paperwork when taking the car and one of the cars that BBC planted with them to park was parked on a normal public high street in Crawley and the presenters stole the hub caps off of the car. When challenged about the hub caps they blamed the customer saying that the hub caps were already missing. One guy's 拢45,000 car was stolen while in their `care'. So you have been warned. Why would you hand over your car anyway to someone a) you don't know b) you don't know where they take your car because they don't show you first and c) don't give you ANY paperwork or receipt to prove that your car is with them?

This company made an appearance on Watchdog and they were proved to be absolute scammers. DO NOT USE if you want your car to be safe and secure. ALWAYS use OFFICIAL GATWICK AIRPORT PARKING available through Gatwick Airport's Website!

this company was on watchdog, consists of two men, they charge you 拢80 per week to park in there 'secure car park', they don't have a secure car park, they drive your car round the corner and park it in a side street in London until your back from your holiday, they also were known to use people's cars, drive them around stacking miles up on them, this was all watched by camera's and trackers on watchdog, out of the 3 cars watch dog gave them all 3 of them were parked in side streets, 3 out of 3, watchdog then went to steal a few wheel trims from one of the cars to see what the company would do, the company if you could call it that drove the car back without the wheel trims and when the customer questioned this they said there were no wheel trims on the car to begin with (which we saw on camera there was, they then went on to say they don't cover loss, damage, theft, pretty much anything, so all in all you pay them 拢80 to take your car park it in a side street and its there at your own risk, you can actually do exactly that yourself… although i dont think anyone in there right mind would actually do that, i cant stress how bad this company is, instead go onto youtube and search watchdog goldparking and it'll all come up, what they do is disgusting, just want you all to know, p.s one poor guys car was stolen obviously from a side street…… they didn't do anything other than tell the customer tough luck we don't cover it.

Do not use this company, they were proven to be scammers by watchdog..

Just seen this company on watchdog, main roads and free car parks are used as their "secure compound" they lie and don't care about your property. STAY AWAY!!

No response when phoning to drop of car. No one there to meet us. Had to make alternative arrangements to park our car. Have tried phoning and emails but can't get a response. It's not so much the money, I just don't want others to be caught out and left in the lurch. You have been well warned as with other reviews..

we booked on the 16th march2014 to 23rd march 2014the pick up never arrived, and was told to leave our car at the short stay car park for the week .on return they told us ]hat they[gold parking[ would pay the exit feel 拢175.00 they also charged us 拢80 for meet n greet, which never happened! so far they have not replied to any correspondence /phone or emails perhaps this review may get some response?

Collected my car 22.05hrs on 10 March 2014, checked externally all ok and drove home to Dorset. Next morning discovered a fleece and carphone charger were missing, found someone else's keys, 2 master keys, a small quantity of cash along with details of other Gold Parking customers. Checked my mileage to find the car had done 410 miles while with Gold Parking. Phoned and emailed the company but they have not responded. Reported the matter to Sussex Police but they don't seem bothered. Not impressed!

Booked to leave my Range Rover with Gold Parking (used to be 1st Choice Parking and Gatwick Airport 1 Parking Services – take your pick) on 8th Feb 2014 for 10 days. Arrived back and called for the car which arrived over an hour later. While waiting I was told that 'they had hit a pothole' and punctured a tyre – bit of a stretch on a RR which is designed to climb mountains! On receiving the car I noticed that around 150 miles of fuel had disappeared, but worse, a day later I noticed that my 拢300 Roadhawk screen mounted camera had been taken from the car and on examining the tyre it had been driven on flat, and was trashed. The power cord for the camera was left in the cubby box but no camera….so just what were they doing in my car which they didn't want on camera. A dozen calls and many messages later I am left down 150 miles of fuel, a 拢240 tyre and a 拢300 camera – you have been warned……..

After reading one or two of the reviews below, I feel I had a lucky escape! On Thursday 9th January I was booked to take my car to Gatwick to be collected about 08:00. Despite over 60 calls, we were unable to raise any driver, and had no instructions as to how and where to leave our car.

We drove around and found several companies who did meet and greet. They were very helpful and even tried to phone Gold Parking for me! We took the risk and used one of these, trusting our car would be there on our return. This company, Brittania, was excellent and our car arrived back more promptly than through any other company I had ever used.

On my return I have tried to contact the company to get our fee back; as yet, the phone remains unanswered!

In short…. Look elsewhere!

Timing of the pick up and return was spot on from when we called the driver was waiting for us and same on the return journey very pleased

The staff were very helpful I really appreciated the driver taking the time to have a little joke with the kids just really started our journey in a happy way.
