Gcash has been so useful to me then. I just dont like that everyday gcash is updating. I cant even use it everytime I want it because it temporarily unavailable everytime I open. It has been like this for over a month. Why is it everyday?

My gcash account is stolen last april 30. I can say that is app is good to use but the disadvantage is when you really need your money badly but when you open the app is unavaillable. And you know how to cash the money and where or when you cash out there participating branches is available. Thats what happen to me. I was very dissapointed that time because i need my money right away for me send money to my mama because she a monthly check up and maintainance. It so happen that there app that time is unavailable. And when i go to there participating outlets i hope i get my money. Suddenly the branches i get into is not available. So i tweet gcash. Not knowing due to very very low services because of ecq. Someone link my account and my money is lost. Hopefully my money will back because everyday i emailed gcash for help. But sadly gcash is not lenient on replying your mail. . Please Gcash help me because i need my money badly and my mother waiting for it.

The most stupid security measures ever on resetting MPIN ! Would require information upon registration that would later on become security answers. But it wasn't indicate upon registration that these will become security questions! And to add, these are information most people would not even bother remembering. Have sent tickets for resetting MPIN. Received a response by email asking for information that's almost the same questions with self reset options! Just how stupid is that?!

Everytime I buy at 7-11 stores with banners gcash payment accepted is not true!!!! Beware of this. Liars. Check all your makati stores your gcash is NOT working. And most of all you are thief, you closed my acocunt with my money balance.

Thief, like it's parent company Globe. Quick to take your money but Goodluck getting it back. Opened a Gsave account and added a small amount to test, all worked well till this point. I decided to increase the gsave deposit and moved a large sum from my bank account to gcash. Now the funds are stuck, whether I try to deposit in gsave or send it back to my bank, I keep getting novel errors. And on top of that, they inherited the worst customer support from Globe as well. The replies from reps clearly show that they have no idea what they are talking about.

Hoping to get my money out and get rid of this thief of an app.

Great app but the WORST COSTUMER SERVICE EVER! I cashed in through my bank account, my bank account was deducted but it did not reflect on my gcash account. Emailed, called and live chat their costumer service but still no proper response and proper action. Its been a month and still i haven't got my money back.

DEDUCTED ALMOST 55k on my account when one of my orders WERENT EVEN PLACED (card declined) and 2 others were cancelled, WOW!!!! And no refund until now!!! WORST EVER!!!!!!

The idea itself is very interesting, mimicking success found in other parts of Asia like China. However, I feel like they fail to realise why it has managed to work well there; convenience.
Gcash is what's known as a mobile wallet; a place to store your money without bringing a heavy wallet around with cash. You can top up your account either through existing bank accounts or even through kiosks scattered throughout various convenience stores. There are many things you can do with GCash. You can store money and send it to friends and people who have GCash accounts, pay using QR and their P150 Mastercard at physical stores, transfer money without fees to banks, invest in stocks, deposit money into a CIMB account with 4% interest, and even somehow contribute funds to WWF. All of these sound great, and some of these features work decently enough. The send money feature and the bank transfers are actually pretty good and quick, but the others suffer from various software bugs and glitches. The Invest function sometimes decides it no longer wants to open, the Mastercard connection is still bugged out on the app and doesn't actually show what cards are connected to your account, and the physical Mastercard and virtual AMEX have issues being accepted as payment options in online stores (often still being charged with the balance checker and never receiving the refund). The QR payment system is also flawed, not because of the GCash team's incompetence, but because of the terrible cell service that plagues the country. When you're in a store to pay for something, you will be spending minutes just trying to connect to the app. How can anyone say that is more convenient that just paying cash?
However the worse thing about GCash is their customer support. It is absolutely atrocious. If you lose money because of a failed transaction, good luck getting your money back at all. Responses to customer inquiries are heavily delayed and it can take months for them to release a proper answer to your issues.

App is so buggy. First issue, I could not save a bank account number so I have to type it each time I would send money to another bank. Second issue, I subscribed to Invest Money by placing some savings there. Now the functionality does not work. It gives me an error message when I click on it and I am not able to see my funds. Third issue, I transferred money to a bank account which was never received. My money is floating out there somewhere. Fourth issue, customer support could not help and kept telling me that their specialists are on it. Until now no resolution.

I can't fully verify my account. I've been trying to report an issue since Apr 18, 2019 and I've been exchanging emails with their customer reps since then, but I can't get ahold of someone from support team or anyone who can actually resolve my issue. I just don't understand what's taking them so long to resolve an issue. I already sent the documents they requested numerous times for them to verify my account and all I hear from them is a generic apology response. I like using this app but if I can't full verify my account with so I can take advantage of all the app features, then having this app on my phone is just useless.

Gcash app definitely made my life easier. As a busy person, it does made my life easier. I can pay bills easily. I can also easily send money to my parents even if they don't have their own bank account. What's more is their save and invest feature! I don't think I could ask for more.

I am a Filipino expat here in KSA. GCash has been a great companion for all my financial transaction even I am away from home. I use it to pay for my university, online shopping all over the world, pay my insurance, and many more!
