Hi,

I have successfully managed to have this site shut down via the relevant authorities so hopefully, no more scams from here!!

As far as I understand, the authorities are investigating the persons behind this so fingers crossed.

Unsure about this, gone through checkout with my purchase using Credit Card, have received an email which reads..

"This is a courtesy email to let you know that we're currently experiencing technical difficulties with our online credit card merchant as a result of that our merchant failed to make charges on your credit card.

You will be required to complete your payment manually via Bank Transfer.

Kindly keep us informed if you wish to proceed with the order manually so we can send you a new purchase order invoice with our banking details for you to make payment via bank transfer.

We sincerely hope to read from you soonest."

I am guessing at potential scam.. has anyone successfully purchased from these?

I wrote all this on another site before seeing this site with all your comments. Definite SCAM… I am surprised that the website is still up.

Please do not use this site!

I am unfortunately the real owner of one of the phone numbers displayed on this site and as so urge anybody who has had dealing with them to report it to Action Fraud Immediately!

Action Fraud 0300 1232040

(links not allowed, simply google action fraud)

I have lodged a complaint with the domain registrar hosting the website asking them to deactivate the website. Sadly I do expect they will just register it somewhere else eventually.

Update: Following my complaint and proof that I own the phone number by changing my voicemail the domain registrar has suspended this website hopefully all transactions will be void and everyone will get their money back.

In the meantime I am trying to ring back as many people as possible who have tried to ring and make them aware of the situation so they can cancel any transactions as soon as possible.

The site is fake and you never get your item, they ask for bank transfer and then they never respond. The people behind this have set up many similar sites to rip people off and are not a genuine company.
Reported to police Action fraud team.

Totally fake, never buy from them.

As with all of the other posts received an email saying that I would need to pay by bank transfer. Dont do this as you don鈥檛 have any protection. This has got to be a scam.

I have had the same experience. On receiving the email asking me to do a bank transfer if I would like to proceed I replied to cancel the order. Am I still at risk of them taking the money from my credit card? Has anyone actually had any money taken without doing the bank transfer?

Definitely a scam the only payment accepted upon talking to them via live chat is bank transfer so you would have zero protection.

Similar to other reviewers who have written here, on the 12th December, I tried to purchase an item from geek365.co.uk. I made a payment by debit card, and the following day I received an email saying that the merchant card machine wasn't working and could the payment be made by bank transfer. I became suspicious and called the contact number. I spoke with someone and they confirmed the email and the problem. I told him I was uncertain about doing a bank transfer and would prefer to wait until the machine is working again. I was told that they would send another email when the system was working again. Today is the 14th and I haven't received an email yet.

I contacted Geek365 to check availability and delivery of a dish washer as the generic delivery time was Aprox 3~5 working days. I recieved confirmation of delivery date and made the purchase by card which is the only means of payment. Within 1 hour I recieved an email advising that they were having difficulties with their card merchant and requesting a bank transfer.

seems suspicious – Beware

It's a scam, for Nintendo switch. Put credit card details in to pay, but said there was difficulties, so ask for a bank transfer. Keep away from this company, geek365, scam artist.
