I really wanted to love GenMobile, I gave them 3 months to fix my issue and at the end, I can to let my account be closed. After getting my iPhone XS Max activated, I noticed I was on 3G, did a whole reset and was still on 3G. I chatted with the rep and after going through a few more troubleshoot, the rep said he was going to escalate the issue and I will hear back….Nothing. I bought a 3 month plan and it was mainly for my mom who doesn't use data much so I wasn't worried. I chatted a few weeks later, again, they will escalate and reach back. I tried calling closer to the end of 3 months, and explained that I was not going to renew if this issue wont be fixed, they again tried some troubleshooting steps, and said they are escalating to their manager and I would get a callback. Now my 3 month plan is over and im in grace period so I call back and I'm told my account is in the grace period. I let them know the situation and after more of the same troubleshooting, surprise it doesn't work, I am still on 3G. So I say, hey I have a older iPhone 6s laying around can we try to swap and see if it will work, After giving them the IMEl etc, I am told nope I cant so a sim swap and will need a new sim card/plan. So now I'm fustrated and say ok can I port my number out that I ported in and I'm told technically my account is closed so no. So after 4 months, GenMobile couldn't figure out what the issue was, I lost my phone number and the last guy I spoke to was not understanding at how frustrating the whole situation was.

I'm in Medicaid and a scissors and I really need a phone I'm using my mom's phone so yeah I am really and I do not feel good and I need a call next people so that people make me feel better and stuff they talk to me makes me feel

The plans are reasonable and the service seems to work. I do not like that they make it look like you can pay quarterly and get a reduced rate. That is just a teaser plan to get you to sign up. After 3 months they raise it to the regular rate. I also don't like that you must use the app to do anything. I want to get a bill and then set up autopay 🙁

Just started my service, I hated Virgin Mobile's Customer service and site usage so I wanted to switch to something cheaper and where I could use my current phone. So far so good. Customer service was amazing! Thank you Bianca! Activating my own device was quick and easy to my surprise.

Totally useless. Spent 7 weeks trying to transfer my number and constantly promised "we'll call you back in 20 mins, 30 mins, 1 hour" and they never did. They just gave up on it & I give up on them.

I recently bought a phone and $10 plan from gen mobile. That was the best decision and purchase i've made in a long time. The whole process from phone selection, plan and check out was a blaze. Everything went smooth, shipping was very fast. In fact i received my phone already activated and ready to go in a couple of days. Gen mobile you just got a long time customer… 5 stars hands down

I have a Samsung S6 and wanted to to save money. I'm mostly using my phone for texts and took the gamble to try Gen Mobile. I bought the $10 plan which gives me unlimited texts and data. I was skeptical at first but then the next day I received a call from their customer service team and they actually walked me through moving my phone to their network. It took about 1/2 hour and it actually worked! I appreciate their customer service team and the caring way that they treated me. I highly recommend Gen Mobile to anyone looking to save money or over and beyond support.
