I sent five copies of a loose leaf text, new wrapped in plastic. Other buyers are purchasing this text for around $60. After no response I called to check on status to find out they do not accept the loose leaf of this text and it was about to be recycled (thanks, would have been good to know, glad I called!). "Ieshia" told me she could return the books but I would have to pay $12 shipping. I said fine because I knew I could get $60 each from another buyer. When I got the books back they were damaged and 4 of the 5 had the plastic wrap torn, one was completely missing half the wrapping, two had turned up covers, one was written on! These books are now worthless! I contacted Ieshia and she said "the books were returned in the condition received, sometimes the plastic wrap tears in transit. Have a nice day". The wrap on these books made it threw being shipped to me, months in storage, moved twice and never a tear in the wrap! And unless the box ate half the wrap on the one book I am really confused as to how this could happen. I lost about $300 in potential sales plus the $12 in shipping all because Facultybooks.com and Ieshia decided that they are too lazy and too unethical to do whats right. Pathetic!

I have noticed that frequently when I send books (after logging them in online by ISBN), there are always some books that get zeroed out when they are processed. If they are not of any value, wouldn't that show when I put in the ISBN?

The numbers I get never add up to the numbers they get. I always get less money than I expect. The reasons vary – but the reality is I use the ISBN I find on the book. I don't make these things up. They then find some reason to give me less money. On the other hand, them sending the boxes to me for shipping makes things easy.

Although a decent experience. NOT a good experience. I experienced numerous issues on the Faculty Books website. An inquiry was met with just do this and this rather than acknowledging the website crashes that I experience and dead links that do not work. Pretty frustrating.

Liars about 10% bonus codes .The money is deposited into my bank account reliably. That is good. The prices for books are so-so. Worst thing: They send emails promising a 10% bonus with a code. Every time I use the code, it is "no longer valid", even if I use it the same day I received the promotional email. So they are liars, every time.

Very fast payment. That's the good thing. The bad, and it's like most people have said–they rarely if ever give you new price for a book. Most recently, I sent four books with no bent corners, and had them well wrapped in bubble wrap. They still dropped them to used, because they said there were bent corners. I'd be interested to know what percent of books sent to them actually are rated as new. I bet it's low. I sell a bunch of different places, but Fac. Books is the ONLY one that downgrades my shipments to used. And it happens almost all the time. I think they should just offer one price, because it is a bit of a bait and switch for them to post this very generous new book price, but their standards for new make it so almost no one gets that price. A new copy at Barnes and Noble sometimes has bent corners. I've bought from Amazon, and those have come well pkged, but with bent corners on occasion. I KNOW they sell those books received with slight imperfections as new. What a joke.
