Dear sirs

I have expressed my displeasure in the lack of customer services from your company. Time and time again I have to write and it takes an eternity to receive a response. I don鈥檛 know if FAB are an exception or if the level of customer service displayed by FAB is the norm in The UAE.

I don鈥檛 understand why no one informed me prior to the previous tenant vacating, isn鈥檛 it normal that some form of notice is given by the tenant? What have you done before the tenant vacated and after the tenant vacating to try to get the property rented again?

It is in my interest to find a tenant so that the mortgage, service fees and YOUR CHARGES are paid, it seems clear to me that there is a serious lack of proactiveness and motivation on your part. You get paid for doing nothing or little and even that poorly.

I am actively trying to find a possible tenant, I have asked how to get access to the keys, no one has responded.

Where are the keys and what are you going to get the property rented ???

I went to update my trade license 3 weeks ago, they told me it should take no more than 1 week to update. It's been 3 weeks and they haven't updated anything, soon my previous license will expire and they will start charging penalties into my account. I also applied for a debit card 3 weeks ago, they also told me it would take maximum 1 week, I called a dozen times since then, my application is not even showing in the system ! They always promise to call back but they never call back, I think they just lost my documents but they don't want to tell me so !

Huge disappointment, I have to beg for my own Money like hell,
More than a week ago, I forgot to remove the money from machine, and it went back inside, and I was needing it to pay my house rent, and it was only the money I have.
I requested Urgent and still the proceed it in Normal Way. Urgent its nothing for this people.
FAB, Do you know what is Urgent !!!! We pay our fee monthly, it's not free to save our money on your bank,
Poor bank, I should throw and wont use this Bank sooner.

I had been a loyal customer for 15 years of National Bank of Abu Dhabi then and now First Abu Dhabi bank, as everybody鈥檚 complaints, the long wait on customer care service will take me from 20-30 minutes. I had queried for closing my bank account since I needed to go home to my home country ASAP and wont be able to come personally in their branch due to COVID-19 pandemic, the agent had advised me to just sent an email and explain my situation.
Once, I had sent and explained my side and current situation and had just asked them to just send the necessary filled up forms and copies through email, they insisted to sent via courier and give then the tracking number as per the company鈥檚 policy.
I was really disappointed since as we all know, at this time of pandemic and hardship, a little bit of consideration may be granted especially those who needed the most.
I hope they can fix these kind of problems that might occur in the future.
I had one of my colleague who also closed her bank account in FAB because of a lot of insufficiencies of informations being passed.

Always disappointed while contacting customer care. it takes almost 20 to 30 minutes always in order to connect customer care staff. this happened when we make call on emergency basis as well.

What a terrible bank. Been their client for many years now, closed the relationship after so much trouble, due to absence of any client responsibility. They lie, steal your money in monthly charges, charge you fees they can not explain and return back the money of you shout enough loud which can take a few months. Do not ever use their services unless you are fully commited to use calculator all along on every month statement. Their 1+1 does not result in 2 all the time.

Recently I have taken a personal loan and below are learning.

1. No confirmation call on loan amount.
2. Loan is disbursed without sharing your account and customer details. It was buyout case and I had to pay excess interest.
3. Change of EMI was done by sales guy without fee. This was only positive I could see.
4. Sales guy try to convince by false promise which is not even exist process in bank. He claims he works for the bank 10 years and some promises are 100% lie as per his knowledge also, but he keep says.
5. Call centre is useless. We have to wait for 30 mins atleast and you should have more patience.
6. Writing mails to atyour service worked for me so far.
7. try to limit the relationship on liabilities.

This is the experience in 2 months relationship

Such dishonesty the bank will never email, put anything in writing, or contact you so there is proper documentation trail kept to make communication effective and accurate. Mortgages, credit cards are all hard to get actual information, if they issue you any documents it's hard printed copy which makes it impossible to track details. Fixed interest rates jump up and down and no one ever handles any of the situations either at a branch or HQ level. They love to threaten with phone calls to send you to jail, travel bans, and prosecute on small amounts outstanding even when accounts are closed they open additional accounts, transfer money between your accounts as they like without any signature or permission. Statements do not reflect what transactions are happening regularly.

the customer service department be ashamed of your self I was one of the customer for past 6 years , wanted to fix all my debt evey time you call to a customer service agent the would give a different amount almost paid 5 time to fix my payment every time its not enough
Either you want us to pay more or u need to hire new employees who knows to do basic math or provide them with a better calculators , worst worst customer service don't know how much more u want to squeeze the customer.
Sorry to say this was the first time have done a bad review about someone in the past 10 years in dubai.

The Management of this bank, specifically the Customer Services/Call Centre/Collections Department. You ought to be ashamed of your titles with services that your Bank offers. Its an absolute disgrace. 48 emails in one month, and you cannot even reply. Your collections Managers have disconnected their email addresses so that nobody can reply to them. SHAME ON YOU FOR YOUR DISGUSTING SERVICE. If this rating platform had a minus star option you would be on -50.

Be very careful if you have any product or services from FAB. The customer service is S**T. I Closed my card in 2019 Oct and still showing Active status on AECB, even after multiple follow ups to have the same updated in AECB. Now i want to apply for services in other banks & this has become an issue.

WITHOUT A DOUBT THE WORST BANK IN THE UAE.

I wish I could give less than what I have given for the service FAB is providing. It's not the same bank with whom I started the business back in 2011. Customer Care is pathetic. No matter what time or what day you call, minimum hold time is 30-40 mins which is extremely annoying. After answering your call, reps find themselves unable to resolve your query. I am trying to reach a representative for the last 1 month with no luck. What an unprofessional bank I am dealing with.

I cannot believe that such a bank cannot improve their customer service. Its the worst bank ever. I would not recommend to anyone to have a financial service via FAB. Stay away from this bank and you will be more mentally healthier.

Customer service is just terrible!
I cannot believe , I am calling every day , for more than a week, holding for 30-40 minutes, and no answer. This is just hilarious, no words can describe…
