While Phantom FOXIT PDF software is quite good, the company customer service is atrocious. I have tried emailing, using their direct connection service via their website and even tired posting on their FB page. Nothing it seems will stir them from their slumbers. So my dilemma here is while I would say the actual software does what it says on lid, do not expect any customer support 鈥?they really are hopeless. Even cutting them slack for COVID-19 they kept me waiting for over one month to reply, what is going on? Finally I got 鈥榮omething back鈥?but that just faded away too. If you want to connect with these people, it鈥檚 probably easier to call Elvis.

Do not give these people your email address! THEY WILL NEVER STOP SPAMMING YOU!!! You will have to close your email address to get rid of their spam! They give a link to stop the contacts but they just ignore your requests and keep spamming you forever!

Our company with 20+ licenses is a Foxit Customer and we have neither received support through a phone line or the chat function.
This is the worst value for money we have seen in years; would not recommend.

Came pre-installed on my asus pc. Couldn't right click pdf files.

Ask Toolbar say no and we hide the spyware you get it but you not see it no thank's

Though I've been using FoxitPDF reader for years without issue until it couldn't read a specific PDF file today, Google Safe Browsing Diagnostic gives:

"The last time Google visited this site was on 2015-06-02, and the last time suspicious content was found on this site was on 2015-06-02. Malicious software includes 162 virus."

The Foxit PDF Reader 5.0 installes adware. It asks about, but installes it even when you uncheck it! It is the Ask toolbar, which is hard to uninstall.

No adware in the new version 7.0 found. (By default demo Version of Foxit Phantom is also installed). Programm seems to work fine.

Attempted to install Open Candy spyware on update.

I downloaded it and my Security jumped in and deleted part of it.
I later found out that it comes bundled with Candy Crush so watch what you are doing when downloading and make sure you do not accept the Candy crush bundle.

Ignore everything that talks about the Ask Tool Bar. I did not get any option to install any other software. The only thing that was offered to me was Google Chrome. No malicious software included anymore.

Foxit has lots of good reviews on the Internet yet many of the comments here are extremely negative. I've noticed this type of situation on WOT comment sections frequently. Many websites are rabidly condemned by WOT supporters yet have great reviews across the Internet. I think it is WOT's responsibility to straighten these issues out. One doesn't know what to trust anymore on the Internet. If these WOT supporters are giving out bogus information their comments should be removed.

I love Foxit Reader. foxit reader is fastest and light weight PDF reader I experienced. Also I love foxit readers for symbian mobiles it's awesome fast. also I use Foxit IFilter for my win 7. I love foxit but foxit software hate me! because I can not download any of foxit products more than 6 month…

This site offers a much better .pdf reader than Adobe. The downloads that it offers are also clean. Safe.

Much lighter on system resources and and easier to use in my opinion. I've been using it for many years now, with no hiccups.

Used to be a great piece of software. Now they have decided to automatically install adware into Internet Explorer, adding their search toolbars, trying to change your default search provider and changing your homepage – without asking! Unbelievable, do not trust this software.

their free PDF reader claims to have "no bloat", but it still wants to change your homepage to ask.com and make ask your default search provider. you can uncheck these options, but they are pre-checked by default. and it installs the ask toolbar without ever asking you. I don't recommend Foxit PDF reader

Installs the Ask toolbar on the computer (C:/Program Files/Ask.com) even when the prechecked box is unchecked.
