I am a nurse and I received a letter saying a Canadian billionaire named Ronald Southern had died in 2016 and he left me 1.6200 million dollars because I had taken good care of him years ago, I was sent to the law firm's website (franklinsynderllp.com) and filled 2 forms, everything looked legal to me. 2 weeks later, the 'lawyer" who called himself the executor of the estate sent me a tax form to fill up. I was told they would take out the amount of taxes and send me the rest of the money. About a few days later, the taxman told me the money was approved and my check would be coming by FedEx. On Friday the 10th of February I got the "check" with a letter saying that I needed to call this number (1-877-405-4880) for the hold on the check to be lifted, when I called I spoke to a man named Bradley Goldman who had a Nigerian accent, telling me I had to pay 20% of the amount which amounted to about 400+ thousand, I told him I had no money and he continued to "negotiate" the amount I could pay, "can you pay about 100 thousand and pay the rest when you cash the check"!! At this time I realized it was a scam and hung up. I don't want this to happen to someone else.
