I found a web site for HP Tech Support. They checked my computer because my scanner was not working. They said I had been corrupted and needed Network Security and because of the corruption, I should purchase network security with itunes gift cards not my credit card. The credit card should not be entered into the computer when there is a corrupted file. I feel so stupid!!!! They ran a check on my computer and for two days they ran it four times when a new tech came on duty. This was on July 26, 27 and on the 28, 2016 I was so frustrated I found the phone number for HP business in an purchase file and they informed me my printer was no longer compatible with my computer as I had recently installed Windows 10. The official HP Techs informed me the other group had installed network security, however, it was not necessary as the security I have is already sufficient. When I informed the sudo site of this and ask why they didn't know about the incompatibility they assured me that there were other issues, i. e. network security, and they would look into the matter. Later that day, on July 29, 2016 they ask me for an additional $200.00 and all ip addresses for all computer, printers, and attachments for my home office. I already knew I didn't have the ip address for the printer. Upon speaking with the official HP business again they connected me with their official tech support and they determined there were corrupted files and attempts to hack my computer. I told them about the other techs and they knew of them, informing me they were scammers. The experience with HP business was an entirely professional approach to my issue. It's a hard lesson to learn. Always keep original paper work and phone number, even six years later they will be invaluable. Lesson learned.
